First Quarter Moon Phase:
  take action

Moon in Capricorn (moves to Aquarius overnight at 12:40 am ET/4:40 am UT)

Sun: 07 Libra - "a woman feeding chickens and protecting them from the hawks"

  • True Alignments:  caring for loved ones, seeing consequences of actions, protection, nourishing the physical body, divination, guiding vision

  • Catalysts for Change:  overprotective, difficulty coping, careless, neglecting the physical body

Earth: 07 Aries - "a man successfully expressing himself in two realms at once"

  • True Alignments:  shifting focus, combining the spiritual and the physical, versatile, valuing all of the components, being whole, creativity, being in the world but not necessarily of the world, shamanism

  • Catalysts for Change:  being "all over the place," trying to do too much, efforts to divide and conquer, attempts at splitting, duality

In addition to the brilliant energetics of the Sun and Earth today, we have the lovely energy of Venus and Neptune in astrological aspect.  Venus and Neptune bring the heights of creativity, spiritual communion, and beauty.  Venus and Neptune blanket the world in a magical mist of love.

Venus and Neptune make opposition today (come 180 degrees apart).  When two planets make opposition it is like a Full Moon phase.  The highest or fullest expression of the energetics are experienced.  But before we look at the Sabian symbols for their locations at opposition, we should first look back to when they made the conjunction (came together in the sky).  The conjunction is equivalent to a New Moon phase, when things begin.  By looking at where the pair "started" we see the nature of their journey.  The opposition tells us where the journey was headed toward.

Venus and Neptune made conjunction on January 12, 2017.
Can you remember what was going on for you at that time?  Since Venus stationed retrograde and then direct earlier this year, Venus and Neptune have had an unusually long journey together this time.  "Journey" is an appropriate word to use because Venus and Neptune made the conjunction at 11 Pisces, "men travelling a narrow path seeking illumination."  We have been on a path; some have been blinded by the light (archons gone wild).

Now, Venus and Neptune make opposition while Venus is located at 13 Virgo, "a powerful statesman overcomes a state of physical hysteria," and Neptune is located at 13 Pisces, "a sword used in many battles in a museum."  We have been on a journey to find solutions for peace - peace in the world and inner peace for ourselves.

What do you think about this?  How have Venus and Neptune manifested this in your life since January?

How does the word "narrow" fit in for you ("men travelling a narrow path...")?  Is it that the One True Way (truth and love) prevails?  Has it been a narrow margin?  Did you narrowly avoid something?  Is something happening in the nick of time?  We could easily say it has been an arduous time -- the road less travelled.

We, as the "powerful statesmen" of ourselves - WE THE PEOPLE - are overcoming the hysteria of the archontic systems and infections.  We are putting down our battles with each other.  We want peace and we want it NOW.  The peace that we seek is the return to our NATIVE BEINGNESS - a state without the archontic parasitic infection of inner chaos and angst.  We want all of that to be HISTORY.

The wonderful thing about how Venus and Neptune work together is their sheer power to create beauty.  We crave beauty in all its forms when these two planets activate.  Love flourishes.  Creativity flows.  Spirit touches.  We embrace.

It is my honor to be on the journey with you, wise owls.  I wish you a beautiful day of Venus and Neptune and will see you back on Monday.  (Venus and Neptune are my ruling planetary pair, and I think I will extend the journey with them through the weekend to see what develops.)  Much love to you!

The Small Habit That Could Save the World | Raptitude.com

The Small Habit That Could Save the World | Raptitude.com

Most of us were taught as children never to talk to strangers. At face value this is bad life advice — we can never know people we never talk to. But we know it’s only meant to arm children with a basic skepticism about unknown people, so that they’re less likely to accept a ride from that rare person who really is dangerous.

It’s a crude but effective policy, something like how Wal-Mart used to pay “greeters” to stand near the entrance and tape shut any bags you’re carrying; they wanted to prevent shoplifting, so they simply treated all their customers like thieves.

Unfortunately, the word “stranger” isn’t used only between teachers and schoolchildren, it’s our normal word for referring to the overwhelming proportion of the population whom we don’t know anything about. It implies that our default view of everyday passers-by should be at least a little bit suspicious. We need a bit of evidence that they are worthy of our respect — let alone our love or caring — before we give it. We assume no obligation to feel anything for them, or to care how their lives are going.

A minority of the time, I’ll be out in public and that air of indifference won’t be there. Instead, I’ll feel an indiscriminate warmth towards my fellow citizens. There is a certain appreciation, even love, for everyone I see, without any of them showing a similar appreciation for me. Often this happens just after seeing a poignant film, or receiving some good news, or having some other experience that has temporarily dissolved that sense of unknown people being irrelevant.

It’s almost a custom in our society, to dismiss by default the idea of actually caring for people we don’t know, at least before we’ve been given a reason. Our comedy is built on this casual disdain for the other guy. We share anecdotes about “idiots” we ran into earlier. Sartre says “Hell is other people” and we nod knowingly, fully misunderstanding what he meant.

With people we already know, we can easily forgive mistakes. Strangers, however, enter our lives already under suspicion. We disqualify entire human beings from the possibility of our respect or forgiveness the moment they fail to use a turn signal, or wear a baseball cap in the wrong kind of eating establishment.

To quote humorist Jack Handey: “A man doesn’t automatically get my respect. He has to get down in the dirt and beg for it.”

In our culture, the default is to treat strangers with indifference at best. It isn’t normal, for example, to spend a moment quietly wishing your fellow bus passengers a good day at work or school. When we find ourselves in a grocery store aisle with some other human beings, we’re more likely to be annoyed by them than we are to sympathize with them.
I think we should reconsider our default attitude towards strangers. Treating an unknown person with suspicion or indifference is an act much more crude, thoughtless, and detrimental to society than parking too close to the white line, taking too long to order at Subway, or any of the other petty reasons for which we disqualify people from the possibility of our caring about them.

Nobody goes first

If you’ve experienced this “love as a default” state, it may have been only a happy accident — the glow that comes in the wake of good luck or inspiration, to be enjoyed while it lasts. But you can do it on purpose. You can decide to be loving and respectful, as a rule, to people you encounter, not because of anything they did to deserve it, but because it simply makes for a better custom than indifference does. It creates a far better personal experience for you, and undoubtedly a far better society.

I explained one way of doing this a few months ago, in an article about becoming a stranger’s secret ally. Whenever you notice yourself feeling annoyed by a stranger, decide to forgive the apparent offense, and, for the few minutes you’re in each others presence, commit to helping them if they need help. Be prepared to offer directions if they look lost, intervene if someone’s treating them unfairly, or at the very least, hope that the rest of their day goes well for them. This intention to forgive and then help — even though you will probably never need to act on it — undermines any habitual pettiness that’s present, and allows the possibility of genuine goodwill.

It’s not that we’re unable to care for strangers when we try, it’s that we don’t try, and in fact it’s taboo in our culture. We are suspicious of people who advocate loving or caring for no reason. We think of them as hippies or New-Agers, or at least hopeless idealists. The message is that love and goodwill are things to dole out stingily, for those who have proved deserving. In our culture, being indiscriminate with your love is an embarrassment.

I think this is just a cultural wrong turn, not an inevitable byproduct of modern society. We have a “You go first” idea of love. Of course, when it comes to strangers, nobody goes first. In going first, there is a fear that you will love and not be loved back, and so our profit-minded society sees it as a foolish investment.

Some psychologists suggest that our stinginess with love is a result of how we first learn about it. We begin life experiencing love only as something that is given to us. As babies our experience of love is totally one-way, always pointed towards ourselves, if anywhere.
So we begin with a total fixation on being loved, rather than seeing loving as a skill or a disposition that we could cultivate ourselves. It occurs to us only later that love can be experienced from a completely different direction, by being its giver.

As we explore this end of love, we can, but don’t always, develop a more mature view of it. We discover that we can give love too, so we learn to reciprocate: love given for love received.

But a fully mature view of love goes further, to the point where we can love without knowing whether we’ll be loved back. This is the way parents love (or should love) their children. On this end of the spectrum, love is an offering, not a bargain. Reciprocation isn’t a requirement, or even an expectation; there’s no concern about how much love is “deserved.”

The world changes tones completely when we actively view strangers this way — when we refuse to be indifferent, viewing them instead with love as a default attitude. It changes your experience of everything involving strangers: traffic, concerts, business transactions, restaurants, walks down the street, and even someone’s bad taste in clothes or lawn ornaments. The simple desire for others to have lives they enjoy sweeps away most of our everyday habitual pettiness, and leaves us feeling strangely okay with the human world as a whole.

Indifference towards strangers is conditioned into us though, and so love won’t usually be your first inclination. But it doesn’t have to be. That initial feeling of indifference, or otherness, can serve as cue to remind you to offer love instead of nothing. All you have to do is think about what the stranger next to you might be hoping for, and see if you can quietly share that hope.

That small habit is all it would take to transform the world. Even if you agree, you might still find yourself waiting for others to do it first.

New Message from the Arcturians: "Time & Simplicity" by Meredith Murphy | Expect Wonderful 16 December 2014

Arcturus
(follow the handle of the Big Dipper to the brightest star to the left...)

New Message from the Arcturians

As we begin to prepare for this wonderful alignment, it's a good time to think about our ascension journey. We've come far and as we really get that we are divine and whole, the focus then shifts to living this. Being a blended being -- aware of the absolute truth of our lives and drawing our fullness into our relative human experience, more and more fully.

A recent message from the Arcturians gives us some new ideas about time and the role of simplicity in creating our lives as the New Humans. You can find it by clicking here:

Time & Simplicity  (or read it below)

This message is part of the New Human Soar Fest. If you'd like to join us, in this pay-what-you-want, listen-when-you-feel-like-it, global series of transmissions, please do so.

New Message from the Arcturians: Time & Simplicity
by Meredith Murphy | Expect Wonderful

16 December 2014

"Hello beautiful beings of light.

We greet you in love. Today is an opportunity for you to live as you desire. It’s an invitation. Each moment is an invitation to be free and fulfilled.

Each moment is actually a gift you give to yourself by the choice of your presence here and the calling forth of the energy that is source which is expressing as you and you are here in this world in an abundant place in which to explore your existence. What a beautiful thing. In this immense abundance and this expansive diversity one of the principles that assists you in realizing all that you came here to experience and enjoy is the principle of simplicity.

We want to talk today a little bit about time and a little bit about simplicity and how they work together and how you might utilize the principles of each to achieve a greater realization of your being.

Time does not unfold for the reasons people think or the reasons people may think. Time unfolds for you to specifically and fully relate to yourself.

You experience the unfolding of time so that you might know You more deeply, more fully and by know you we mean the fullness of all you are and we also mean the oneness that is everything. So time unfolds providing you glimpses of the truth of your being in an expanded way allowing you to know this through discreet, refracted experiences of source energy elaborated. This all takes place so you can more fully feel and know and understand and comprehend and enjoy who You really are. Each and every nuance and the uniqueness of each moment gives you a chance to know life and thus You more fully.

Time unfolds so there can be a depth of knowing and in this depth of knowing more love and appreciation can be experienced and generated. As you allow each moment to be known you have the opportunity to experience the perfect and totally unique presence given to you, created by you. In this experience you can discover absolute qualities of experience.

It is in exploring the very specific, relative moments in your embodied earthly life that you touch and discover and feel also the absolute qualities and this is the point of living in the present.

This is the point of relating to time clearly and one of the most liberating experiences of relating to the present moment is with an awareness that the discreet, very specific, precise unique moment presenting is a doorway to absolute freedom.

You find yourself by being present to the complete, specific moment. You find yourself free of all the things that seemed to bother you before or concern you. Instead you are filled with joy because there is so much beauty in life. No matter what your station or where you are focused there is a multidimensional energy presenting to you in each moment. The frequency created by your focus allows you to know that moment partially or fully and all degrees of variation in between. On earth the great gift is the immense diversity and thus the incredible opportunities for joyful self-awareness. Getting to know the divine more fully, getting to know you more fully is why you’re here.

Each moment, each insight of recognition of this Oneness in a more expanded way is exhilarating and joyful. This is why creativity is also exhilarating and joyful. This is why sharing is exhilarating and joyful. This is why helping one another is exhilarating and joyful. This is why eating is exhilarating and joyful. This is why everything can be exhilarating and joyful. Tuning yourself for and to joy will help you find your way always. Always.

In these very specific and discreet moments of time you sometimes feel challenged or discouraged. In the challenge or discouragement it is good to encourage yourself. It is good to remind yourself of the absolute, the eternal nature of your being. To orient to that until it pulls you back into balance.

In this awareness you can also remember that you are a blended being having this human experience, having a relative AND an absolute experience. That is the full realization of the awakened New Human.

Dear friends you are creating a mix of these conscious perspectives that is increasingly clear and accurate and balanced.

It is also expanding and concentrating and radiating. What this feels like when you get into that sweet and perfect alignment is brilliant clarity, absolute joy and knowing.

You all have had this alignment; you’ve had moments like this so you know what it’s like. You’re perfectly capable of it and you’re coming into it more and more.

The higher self of you; your aspects expressing in higher frequencies, are informing your life here and you are informing that expression. It’s all happening. It’s all happening. You don’t have to do anything to make it happen. There is flow occurring and instantaneous informing. This is always a positive thing as it provides opportunities for expansion and experiencing more wholeness.

The realization of this experience of wholeness arises more fully as alignment is more full. You learn how to find your alignment by caring about how you feel. That path alone, even if you never woke up, would be a wonderful one. It would and does bring you great joy and it would even allow you to emanate immense light if you simply cared about how you feel.

Caring about how you feel and therefore creating alignment allows you to be with others in a way that is compassionate not critical, grateful not judgmental. In this fulfilled state of being you are encouraging and open, delighted, welcoming and kind. And you’re present in all of these very beautiful ways naturally. Not because you think it’s better, not because you strive to be that way and not because you think it’s right. You present and feel these ways because you see clearly and you are also energetically fulfilled.

Therefore when you find yourself condemning things, anything, or objecting, arguing, criticizing, complaining, these are indicators that you’re off the mark. That you’ve lost your alignment somewhat or even quite a lot. These are indicators of losing the perspective that come with alignment.

It is good when the thoughts or feelings like this arise to just let them be. Don’t take action or speak about them, just let the “dust settle.” In doing this you will gradually re-pattern your response to life so you’re more able to have a softer reaction and eventually a diffused reaction and therefore you will be more able to sustain your experience of wholeness and the awareness of the fullness of you more often.

Listening to your heart is another thing that helps you come into more wholeness. It’s easy to let yourself listen to your heart if you create space to know yourself. Knowing yourself requires listening and listening requires silence.

Hearing your own heart’s desires and living authentically is the way to express yourself fully here.

By being here as you and doing what you want and feeling inspired towards you bring forth more light. To know your soul’s desires requires reflection and contemplation and most of all – creating an openness to your life such that the pace doesn’t drive you to become outwardly focused.

When you are more busy and your life is more full than feels good to you – and for each of you this pacing and fullness will feel different and it will be different at different times – but when you are more busy than feels good to you then you lose touch with the inner current of you and you lose this balance of being a blended being.

Life is much simpler than human beings have tended to make it. As you know it is just about happiness and well-being, awareness and awakening, love and sharing, connecting and creating.

Living simpler is part of creating and realizing this expression of the New Human. It gives you opportunities to be more free and fluid when there is more space in your life. It allows you to have a spaciousness in the material things around you and in your life structure that fosters deep listening to your heart. Simplicity is very helpful.

Each and every moment dear friends is complete. It is rich and it is so able to satisfy you and deeply fulfill you. Each and every moment contains everything you could ever need or ever want. Consider this for a moment!

This is the presence of the absolute, eternal Godhead that is you with you always. The connection to that is always there. It is the flow of your life. It is the reason you are animated here having an experience of being alive. The absolute provides total fulfillment and this is available in every moment. The degree to which you can harvest this has to do with the degree to which you are present. Simplifying your life allows you to reap the benefit from time unfolding more fully.

We invite you today to consider simplicity and this insight about time which you may already have but we are drawing focus to today, as a way of considering a graceful, easy way to feel better and open up to more wholeness.

Let yourself begin this pathway of living as the New Human with a consideration of simplicity in your life.

Allow yourself to feel and know your Godhead by clearing the way of complications and ideas that demonstrate or speak of ways that require effort, elaborate rituals or routines, dropping any ideas that you are somehow not worthy and instead encourage yourself.

Encourage yourself. Practice. Speak warmly with love to yourself. Create space in your life so that you can harvest the immense opportunity of this moment.

We are the Arcturians.
