How can telling the Truth make anyone a bad guy? The original video that made Wikileaks famous and controversial that the US Military didn't want anyone to see was called "Collateral Murder". They thought these people in Iraq had AK47s but it was civilian journalists with cameras/telephoto lens. ~~~

WikiLeaks said the footage, filmed from a helicopter cockpit, shows a missile strike and shooting on a square in a Baghdad neighbourhood in July 2007. The website said 12 civilians were killed in the attack, including two journalists, Namir Nour El Deen and Saeed Chmagh, who worked for the Reuters news agency. This is the full, unedited version of the footage.

Wikileaks vets all sources and has NEVER had to do a retraction. All accusations against Julian Assange are contrived. Even the Swedish girls admitted there was no rape, it was consensual sex...in hindsight they wanted the police to make him get an HIV test and the Swedish police, at the behest of the U.S. Government, initially arrested him. He fled to London to the Ecuadorian embassy, and the relentless persecution continues to this day.
A journalist has allegiance only to the Truth, and to informing the public. Reporters follow a script and tell you what they are told to report.~~~

Also, it was Bradley Manning (now Chelsea Manning) who offered the
video to Wikileaks and was also imprisoned and cut off from attorneys
and human contact, tortured and abused. All because the Military made an
honest but deadly mistake but refused to admit it.
I am in no
way anti-Military, I respect and appreciate all those who serve..the
persecution of Julian Assange came from Washington D.C., Obama
administration, not the Military, because Wikileaks had much more
damaging intel against politicians + U.S. government. Most of it has
been released yet remains unfamiliar to the public, who have been told
by media that Assange is a bad guy.~~~
