Today may feel very much like a puzzle.


The Sun is disseminating the energetic of "a man studying a mandala in front of him with the help of a very ancient book."  We work to see our way through, finding paths that lead to answers we seek.  This energetic refers us to the old sources of wisdom, and often points out which of those sources to consult in order to understand (or understand how to proceed).  We are intuitively guided toward it or it will "fall off the shelf" so we do not miss it.  If you are prompted to pick up a certain book or a method of divination (like tarot cards, etc.), by all means follow it.
We have two major astrological aspects building up today:


1- MERCURY CONJUNCT SUN at 11:24 pm ET/3:24 am UT:  This combination represents a new beginning with communications, thought processes, and beliefs.  The conjunction occurs at the "man studying a mandala" energetic, and Mercury is the planet that helps us study, since it rules the mind.  Messages from the Universe swirl like "wind inside a letter box" (The Beatles, Across the Universe).  Mercury is speedy, so things can happen very fast.


2- VENUS SQUARE URANUS on THURSDAY at 10:17 am ET/2:17 pm UT:  Though the exact astrological aspect does not occur until tomorrow, this energetic will be in full force both today and tomorrow.  This produces changes within relationships, finances, and levels of comfort and security.  Just because it is a change, does not mean it is a "bad" change.  In fact, Uranus is the one planet that will put us where we need to be no matter what.  It really does work in our favor.


The Sabian symbol energetics involved with the Venus-Uranus square are:


VENUS on Wednesday:  "a woman and two male castaways on a small island in the south seas."  This was the Sabian symbol for the Cancer 2015 cycle (July 15 - August 13, 2015). so things that were happening at that time may be revisited in some way.  It represents love triangles, difficulty choosing between all types of things, and getting away from something that is confusing.


-VENUS on Thursday: "a leader of men wrapped in an invisible mantle of power."  This symbol relates to a powerful infusion of Spirit.  We are "blanketed."  A great deal of protection comes with this energetic.  It empowers us to lead our own course.  This degree also rules "megalomania," and since Uranus is involved, reinforces craziness. so it may get a little wild.


-URANUS on both days: "a double promise reveals its inner and outer meaning."  Two-timing is uncovered with this degree of the zodiac.  Surprising things are learned about the truth of matters.  The sincerity or insincerity of one's words is shown.  With the "woman and two male castaways" energetic in effect, dramatic changes in relationships can occur.


Today and tomorrow's energies will move very quickly with Mercury and Uranus so active.  It is a good idea not to get stuck on one idea.  Anxiety, insomnia, and fears about changes are heightened with these.  Allow or even create space and room for things to change, and hold to the knowledge that Uranus always puts things in their best places.  Uranus often does this through shocks and surprises, so we understand to expect the unexpected to some degree.
Though perhaps puzzling at times, today offers us the opportunity for answers, understanding, and overcoming.  What does the mandala of today show you?

The energetics Saturday and Sunday have four primary themes:


1-REPEATING PATTERNS: Mars' energetic is a major influence this weekend, as it discharges the energy of "circular paths." This brings things back or around again. We can feel like we are back where we started. The thought "here I go again" or "here it comes again" can pop up. Habits and outworn or "old" thoughts and ways of coping can return.


Mars is still in very tight conjunction with the Black Moon (the energy of rebirth but also the energy of the shadow side). This can bring outburst of anger, flung words, and changes in relationships. The tendency to project one's own issues or feelings onto others is higher.


Because the Moon is transiting (moving through) Libra this weekend, it amplifies any planet in that sign, in this case Mars and the Black Moon. The times of the conjunctions are listed above, but remember that energy moves in waves, so it builds and wanes. Oftentimes, the effects of the dynamic are observable at the very time of the astrological aspect, but not always. So it is best to think of it as in effect all weekend while the Moon transits Libra.


Adding to the repeating patterns theme, on Sunday the Sun will discharge the energy of "a ground hog looking for its shadow on Ground Hog's Day." The ground hog won't have to look hard for his shadow, given that the shadow is right in front of each of us this weekend. The shadow side is our core fear, but it is an illusion. It is based on a separated mind, not the truth of mind, which is that All Is One. We are never separated and there is never anything to fear. (In Gnostic terms, all that happens on this planet happens within the minds of the aeons Gaia Sophia and Thelete. No fear.)


2-PATHS AND TOURS: Continuing along this month's absolutely lovely theme of a woman drawing aside the darkness and paths opening, the conjunction of the Moon and the Black Moon happens at the degree of "miners emerging from a coalmine" (emerging from darkness into light), Venus will disseminate the energy of "a sight-seeing bus filled with tourists" (entering new territory), and the Sun will discharge "the pyramids and the Sphinx" (monumental tours of the mind). Of course, Mars at "circular paths" reinforces the notion of trails. (And on that note, we might walk a certain path over and over again, but we see new things each time. It's definitely not a waste.)


Where are we going? It's a natural question this weekend. Saturn offers insight as it moves to the 9th degree of Sagittarius and "a mother leads her small child step by step up the stairs." The Mother guides us.


3-COMMUNICATIONS: This weekend the Earth is located at "two people living far apart in telepathic communication" and "two Dutch children talking." Communications between people are highlighted, but so is "bending time" to suit our needs. Space and time operate differently when the energetic of two people far apart telepathically communicating is in effect. Do you need more time? Expand it. Play around with it.


Above all, come from the heart with communications this weekend. The Mars-Black Moon dynamic can incite ugliness, and who needs that?


4-SIGNS: In the cycles of the Sun and Moon, we are in a month that is like a month-long Disseminating Moon phase - the time of communication and sharing. The "Source Field" or "Information Field" around us is full and sending exactly what we need to know or see. If we are paying attention, we will see the signs and we will receive the information. It's there for the taking, and the universe will do whatever it can to make sure we get it. Things that repeat and, of course, any animal sightings would be primary methods, as would dreams, and topics of conversation with others.
Mercury is located at "a bluebird standing at the door of a house," which is a good sign or good omen of good fortune. Doors open things and houses are, well, what does a house represent to you?
There is one energetic to be aware of, primarily on Sunday. Venus will move to "a broken bottle and spilled perfume." This can prompt loss, either feelings of loss or actual events that occur or break open/apart. Things that have built up can come to a head or spill out. But this energetic always reveals what was inside, and wisdom can be gained from it.


It's quite a weekend, and those wise owls among us with the Sun or Black Moon in Aries or Libra are feeling it the most. We are with you as your rebirth process continues, and remind that everything that is happening in your life is making you better (stronger, lighter, wiser), even though it may not feel that way.

As things appear to be moving toward chaos, the wisdom of the Sabian symbols tells us that things are not spinning out of control; they are actually moving, changing, and shifting and ultimately leading to better ways.


Now is the time, wise owls.  The "skill" listed each day on the Oracle Report for years has not been an exercise for self-indulgence.  It has been a practice to prepare us for this time -- the time when mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual equilibrium will not only hold the fabric of humanity together as darkness is parted, but also when humanity is meant to prosper, to flourish.  It is the time of Renaissance.  We do not see things as ending; we see them as just beginning.


That said, let's look at what is going on today.


Movement is the keyword today, as demonstrated by the Sabian symbols for the degrees where the planets are located:


EARTH: "newly opened lands offer the pioneer new opportunities for experience" - "Newly opened lands" are the same as "opening a sacred pathway" in the imagery of the Sabian symbol for this lunar month of a woman drawing aside dark curtains to open something that was closed or unseen.  To be a pioneer is to move through the fear that naturally accompanies "newness." 

Experience teaches us that we always adjust and adapt to new people, places, and things.  This is one of our greatest strengths as humans.


It can also be one of our greatest weaknesses because we can just as easily adjust or adapt to people, places, and things that offer only "scraps" - like the world that the globalists offer.  (Remember that until Monday, we are working with the Sabian symbol of "seagulls fly around a ship looking for food" and examining this within our past and present experiences to facilitate a dramatic shift in perspective/perception -- to open a sacred pathway, a new way.  See Monday, November 30th's post below for more information.)


The symbol teaches us that to "think like a pioneer" helps us navigate this energy.  This means we embrace the new.  We embrace movement.  We embrace experience.


BLACK MOON and MARS: "miners emerging from a coalmine" - The Black Moon moves to the 12thdegree of Libra today, joining Mars.  This pushes anger, conflict, and aggression, as both energies are "battlefield" archetypes.  Within romantic and interpersonal relationships, anger or issues may surface as things "come to light" or become clearer or plainer in the "light of day."  So things that we may not have wanted to see or have not been able to accept can come face to face with us.  A huge relief can come from this.  The important thing, again, is movement -- moving out of a dark coalmine of the heart, mind, and body.


MERCURY: "pelicans, disturbed by the garbage of people, move their young to a new habitat" - We move on from what we can no longer tolerate or accept.  We move on from what has has become hurtful and perverse (opposed to life and the value[s] of life).  "Extremes" are not tolerated well under this energy.


Venus disseminates the energy of "a man in deep gloom; unnoticed, angels come to his help."  This is one of the more difficult energies of the 360 degrees of the zodiac.  Emotions can easily overwhelm us, leaving us feeling very alone.  Gloom and doom is pervasive in the collective right now. We recognize what has gone unnoticed: that we are not alone.  We never are.  If gloom overtakes you at any point today, talk to your angel.


The Sun is sending the energy of "the lamp of physical enlightenment at the left temple" so there is plenty of light by which to see.  The "left temple" is our left brain, the half responsible for logic and attention to tasks.  Physical activity - merely walking around - helps us process all that is happening in the world right now.  This energy helps us take action, so we can move off from anything we want.


We are moving from the mindset of fear and chaos and into the mindset of love and peace.  We maintain equilibrium.  We hold the space.  We attend to Wisdom.

Today we begin a seven-day period of time when clarity and enlightenment attempt to part darkness (the things we cannot see or face).  We've entered the Disseminating Moon Phase of the time of year that is like a month-long Disseminating phase, so we have "double Disseminating" energy.  This means that signs, synchronicities, conversations, background or overheard conversations, messages, feedback, advice, guidance, and the information field in general will be doubly-profound and doubly-helpful.  The universe's goal is to get us past whatever is blocking our way or keeping an entrance or opportunity at bay.

This energetic is beginning today on the heels of the Sun conjunct Saturn at "deep within the depths of the earth, new elements are being formed" and just as Mars and the Black Moon make conjunction at "a professor peering over his glasses at his students."  So we are immersed in a pattern of shift that helps us understand and grow.  New "elements" and new "lenses of perception" are emerging.


Signs and synchronicities are also abundant with Venus at the degree of "the sight of an autumn leaf brings to a pilgrim the sudden revelation of the mystery of life and death."  The mystery of life and death is that it mimics or teaches us that we have many metaphoric lives and many metaphoric deaths during our journey.  What is inside of us that yearns for change?  The answer to the mystery comes from returning to the value of the basics - quality time, people over things, the beauty of nature, and the state of contentment or satisfaction (Peace Pilgrim).


We have all we need for any encounter today, as the Earth is at the degree of "a quiver filled with arrows."  Don't go into any important conversations, situations, or meeting unprepared.  Supply yourself with what you need before you dive in.


If we look deeply and listen closely over the next week, we will make great strides on our mission to build the Second Renaissance.  We can overcome the barriers of the heart and mind that keep us unenlightened - in the dark - and held back.  Are you ready to become smarter..wiser?

9:26 pm ET MONDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2015/2:26 AM UT TUESDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2015: MARS CONJUNCTS THE BLACK MOON at 10 Libra 50 and the Sabian symbol for 11 Libra "a professor peering over his glasses at his students."  When Mars and the Black Moon come together, things can erupt -- eruptions in consciousness (suddenly realizing or putting things together) and eruptions of emotions (that have been held in, especially related to feeling overlooked or not appreciated, and anger at being treated poorly or used, deceived, or betrayed).  Mars and the Black Moon are exceptionally impulsive, with words and actions that happen in the blink of an eye. When Mars aspects another planet, it energizes that planet's dynamic.  Thus, Mars is energizing our personal and collective shadow sides -- our fears.


But it is also energizing the other polarity of the Black Moon - rebirth.  Things don't look like what they seem, as the professor notices as he peers over his glasses at his students.  He sees that what's really happening is that deep within, new elements -- new ways, new understandings, new beliefs -- are forming.)
