Please note the tags as a clue to subjects discussed in this article, and donate if you can. ~PB CHOOSING LIFE The world, for the past several months, has been distracted from the existential question looming ever-closer on the horizon: do we embrace life, in all its mysteries, pleasures, and storms, or do we bury it? Do we join our hands round the Earth, or do we wash them twenty times a day? Do we mingle together in sickness and in health, or do we hide our heads in the sands of our masks and social distancing, and pretend that our lives and our future do not depend on our physical connections with people, and with birds and bats and flowers and fishes that sustain one another and keep this world going? We have decisions to make. While we have all been preoccupied with the coronavirus, a giant ozone hole has developed this spring over the Arctic, unprecedented in size and duration. This is letting high levels of ultraviolet radiation from the sun reach the surface of the Earth. The UV index is higher than normal over a large part of the northern hemisphere. This may in part be the result of the emissions from the hundreds of rocket launches that have taken place in the past few years, largely in the northern hemisphere. About 225 rocket launches are planned for 2020. Will we continue to permit this? Or, once we emerge from our homes and the quarantines are lifted, will we stop? Instead of mingling together in schools and markets and restaurants and parks and churches, we have retreated into our cell phones and our wireless computers, substituting radiation for life, while the wireless web, on Earth and in space, continues to be woven. Will we continue to permit this? Or, once we emerge from our homes and the quarantines are lifted, will we stop? INTERNATIONAL DAY OF ACTION, JUNE 20-21, 2020    “Don’t Push the River, It Flows by Itself,” wrote Barry Stevens in her 1970 book by that name. Well, sometimes even the river needs a little push. A new organization has just been formed, called End Cellphones Here On Earth (ECHOEarth), whose members do not own cell phones and whose mission is to end the root cause of the wireless web that is punching holes in our atmosphere and bathing us all in radiation. ECHOEarth has set the solstice, June 20-21, 2020, as Cancel-Your-Cell-Phone-Account Day, the day we invite you to get off this train and change direction. Details will follow in the next newsletter. UPDATE ON SATELLITES SpaceX, which already had 360 satellites in orbit, had planned to launch 60 more on April 2 but delayed the launch due to the coronavirus situation. That launch of 60 satellites took place yesterday, bringing the number in orbit to 420. Last Friday, on April 17, SpaceX submitted a new application to the Federal Communications Commission, requesting permission to lower the altitude of some of its planned satellites. It previously was going to orbit what it calls its "first-generation" satellites in two tiers -- one tier at 550 kilometers (340 miles) in altitude, and a second tier at 1200 kilometers (750 miles) in altitude. Now SpaceX wants to place all 4,408 of its first-generation satellites at the lower altitude. One of its stated reasons is to make fewer of the satellites visible from any point on the earth at any given time. However, the lower the satellites are, the brighter they will be. And the more of them are in the ionosphere (which extends up to about 1000 kilometers), the greater the impact on life below. OneWeb, which has launched 74 satellites, has declared bankruptcy and laid off most of its employees after failing to obtain expected funding due to the downturn in the economy caused by the coronavirus shutdown. CORONAVIRUS: SCIENCE, POLICY AND POLITICS Many people are afraid of even asking whether 5G is playing a role in the COVID-19 disease that has shut down much of the world. It is similar to the fear that has prevented people from questioning the orders to stay home, wear masks, and keep six feet away from each other. I am about truth, wherever I find it, wherever it may lead, because our world is at stake, and life itself -- physical, mental, emotional and spiritual -- is being dismantled. Conspiracies have no place in this effort. Neither does fear. My opinions, based on my reading of the scientific and medical literature, as best as I can determine, are these: Did 5G cause the coronavirus? No. Does 5G cause disease similar to the coronavirus? Yes. Did COVID-19 originate in bats? No. Is COVID-19 a recombinant RNA virus, created in a laboratory, intentionally or unintentionally, as part of a research program whose purpose was to protect the population? Did it escape accidentally from a virology laboratory in Wuhan, China? Probably. The measures that have been put in place, and accepted without question, are ineffective, destructive, and anti-life. Masks do not protect the wearer. Medical masks are ineffective against viruses, and cloth masks provide breeding grounds for them. A 2015 study in the British Medical Journal found that healthcare workers caught viruses from their patients 13 times more often if they wore a cloth mask than if they wore a medical mask, and a Chinese study found that a medical mask was no more protective against viruses than wearing no mask at all. The World Health Organization warns that wearing a medical mask “may create a false sense of security” against COVID-19 and that “no evidence is available on its usefulness to protect non-sick persons.” The N95 respirator, recommended for medical workers, requires training to use properly and “without training, the masks could not only expose workers to the virus but also lull them into thinking they are protected,” according to doctors at the Harvard School of Public Health. In practice, even the N95 mask has been found to be ineffective in preventing the transmission of viruses. A review of six clinical studies, published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal, found that medical workers caught viruses from their patients just as often when they used N95 respirators as when they used ordinary medical masks. Masks are harmful to the wearer. COVID-19 kills by causing severe hypoxia (low levels of oxygen in the blood). People wearing masks re-breathe some of their exhaled air, lowering the amount of oxygen they are breathing. “Wearing respirators come[s] with a host of physiological and psychological burdens. These can interfere with task performances and reduce work efficiency. These burdens can even be severe enough to cause life-threatening conditions if not ameliorated,” wrote the author of a 2016 article in the Journal of Biological Engineering. When the N95 respirator was tested in use in 2010, the “dead-space oxygen and carbon dioxide levels did not meet the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s ambient workplace standards.” Ventilators do not work and are harmful. Dr. Cameron Kyle-Sidell quit his job in the Intensive Care Unit at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn because he was required to put his COVID-19 patients on ventilators that he felt were killing them because the air pressure was damaging their lungs. His coronavirus patients all had severe hypoxia but healthy respiratory muscles: they needed oxygen, he said, but not pressure. “COVID-19 lung disease, as far as I can see, is not a pneumonia,” he said, but seems to be “some kind of viral-induced disease most resembling high altitude sickness... These patients are slowly being starved of oxygen … and while they look like patients absolutely on the brink of death, they do not look like patients dying of pneumonia.” Italian doctors agree: “Patients on ventilators deteriorate anyway, in an unexplained way... Most of these patients are plainly hypoxic.” PCR tests are not accurate. A March 25, 2020 paper by Carver and Jones reported that it is not possible to assess the accuracy of PCR tests because “There are little public data on the false positive and false negative rates of the various RT-PCR based tests.” A false positive test means that you are diagnosed with COVID-19 when you don’t actually have it. One of the only studies to date that has attempted to estimate the frequency of false positives is Zhuang et al., “Potential false-positive rate among the 'asymptomatic infected individuals' in close contacts of COVID-19 patients”, Chinese Journal of Epidemiology, 2020, 41(4): 485-488 (in Chinese). They concluded that up to 80 percent of non-symptomatic people who test positive for the coronavirus may not actually have it. Shutdowns do not have any effect. Japan, which did not shut down until April 6 and then only with voluntary measures, has 2 COVID-19 deaths per million population. China, which shut down in December, has 3 deaths per million population. Belarus, which never shut down, has 4 per million. South Korea, which has only voluntary measures, has 5 per million. Iran, which shut down in early March, has 62 per million. Sweden, which did not shut down, has 156 per million. Switzerland, which did shut down, has 165 per million. Belgium, which did shut down, has 503 deaths per million population. Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, all close to China, have no COVID-19 deaths at all. Vietnam shut down in early February, Laos shut down in late March, and Cambodia has never shut down at all. In the U.S., South Dakota, which has not shut down at all, has four times as many cases, but fewer deaths, than neighboring Montana, which is completely locked down. Death rates in the United States have been going down, not up, since the beginning of the year. If you pay attention to the news, you might assume that record numbers of people are dying. The opposite is true. Not only has overall mortality for the United States been going steadily downward since January, but mortality has been substantially lower this year than last year. RF radiation and COVID-19 cause similar disease. In my last newsletter (“Is the Sky Really Falling?”), I noted some effects of COVID-19 that are similar to effects of radio waves. The list of effects in common has grown, and includes headaches, dizziness, nausea, digestive problems, muscle pain, tachycardia, hypotension, cardiac arrhythmias, strokes, and seizures. As many as two-thirds of people who test positive for COVID-19 have lost their sense of smell, often without any other symptoms. Patients are presenting with mental confusion, without any respiratory symptoms at all. Patients are presenting with diarrhea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. When patients with any of these symptoms test positive for the coronavirus, their illnesses are being attributed to that virus. But these are all classic symptoms of radio wave sickness. When both the virus and RF radiation are present, the disease should be attributed to both. And RF radiation and COVID-19 both cause hypoxia. COVID-19 impairs oxygen absorption by the blood, and RF radiation impairs oxygen use by the cells. COVID-19 would not be so severe were it not for the radiation. Recently, there is a new symptom that is being attributed to the virus that is exactly what one would expect to see from millimeter waves: a “fizzing” sensation throughout the body. It is being described as a “buzzing sensation,” “a burning feeling,” and “an electric sensation in the skin.” It is probably wrongly being attributed to the virus, and is due instead to 5G. It is a fact that 5G was turned on in Wuhan, China on November 1, 2019, and that the first known COVID-19 patient became ill there on November 17. It is a fact that there is a research virology lab in Wuhan, and that researchers there coauthored a paper in 2015 with American researchers from Chapel Hill, North Carolina describing a hybrid coronavirus that they had created by attaching a spike protein from bats to a SARS coronavirus. Zheng-Li Shi, the lead researcher from Wuhan, said in an interview in Scientific American that she had worried that COVID-19 was a virus that had escaped from her lab, but she reassured the world that she had checked and it did not resemble any of the viruses that she had collected in bat caves. Yet in the next sentence she justified her claim that COVID-19 came from bats by saying that it was almost identical to a virus that she had collected in a bat cave in Yunnan. The SARS virus has escaped from high-level containment facilities in China multiple times. As revealed by the Washington Post on April 14, 2020, U.S. Embassy officials had warned in 2018 that sloppy safety protocols for handling contagious viruses in the Wuhan lab "represented a risk of a new SARS-like pandemic." It is also a fact that the animal market in Wuhan does not sell bats. A YouTube video that has been shared on social media that shows bats being sold for meat at a market was actually filmed in Langowan, Indonesia, and not in China at all. In short, 5G is part of the coronavirus equation, and everything that we have been doing to address the pandemic has more to do with politics and fear than with reality. It is time to re-open society, to take off our masks, and to open our eyes to what is really happening to our world.

Honey bees on the Isle of Wight; Slovenia postpones 5G; More satellites are launched | The International Appeal to Stop 5G on Earth and in Space

THE HONEY BEE’S PLEA The honey bee in the banner at the top of this newsletter has been speaking to us for over one hundred and fourteen years. Its numbers ever diminishing, its message ever more urgent, it waits for a sleeping world to finally listen. “Now!” it says. “Wake up before it’s too late, there is no more time!” On the Isle of Wight, off the southern coast of England, Giuglielmo Marconi built the world’s first permanent radio station. And the bees’ first warning to humanity was heard. “They are often to be seen crawling up grass stems, or up the supports of the hive, where they remain until they fall back to the earth from sheer weakness, and soon afterwards die,” wrote Augustus Imms of Christ’s College, Cambridge in 1906. Ninety percent of the bees had already vanished from the entire island. Unable to find a cause, he called it, simply, Isle of Wight disease. Swarms of healthy bees were imported from the mainland, but it was of no use: within a week the fresh bees were dying off by the thousands. The description, more than a century later, is exactly the same. On November 19, 2019, a 5G antenna was placed 250 meters from Angela’s house in Melbourne, Australia. “I photographed the new mast going onto the cell tower,” she writes, “and the next day, I was in the driveway talking to our carpenter, and we saw bees dropping on the driveway then dying. I managed to film one trying to collect pollen, but it was hanging upside down and could not seem to make it to the centre of the flower, then it rolled off the petals to the ground.” Today, two months later, their beautiful garden, full of old world trees and plants, is silent and barren. “We have no insects -- none,” wrote Angela last week. “Our cumquat once laden all year has no new fruit coming. No olives on the way on our olive tree so laden last year. We dug soil yesterday -- no worms either -- nothing -- all gone. I walked the dog late tonight, it was dark and a poor magpie was down the street under a street lamp hoping for a cricket I think. It was silent. I took birdseed back but the bird had gone -- it must be hungry to be out at night.” In the midst of plenty the bees are starving to death. In 2009, Neelima Kumar, at Panjab University in India, placed cell phones in some bee hives and turned them on for ten minutes. The concentrations of glucose, cholesterol, total carbohydrates, total lipids and total proteins rose precipitously in the bees’ blood. After just ten minutes’ exposure to a cell phone, the bees were not able to digest their food, or use the oxygen they were breathing. Their metabolism had come to a standstill. “Wake up!” say the bees. “Wake up!” said parents with their children who assembled last Saturday at the Church on the Roundabout in Newport on the Isle of Wight to protest plans to turn their island into a Smart Island -- to bring Isle of Wight disease back to the island of its birth. Radio waves are poison to life. They penetrate skin and bones, cell walls and mitochondria. They prevent electrons from our food from combining with the oxygen we breathe. They give us diabetes, and heart disease, and cancer. They disorient migratory birds, and they kill outright tiny forms of life that pollinate flowers and have high rates of metabolism. In the mid-1990s, the invisible fire that Marconi had lit became a conflagration. For the first time in human history, radio waves began to be broadcast not only from tall towers scattered widely across the landscape, but from the hands of men, women and children everywhere. And in 2020 this has brought us to the brink of extinction -- not just of bees, and not just of humanity, but of all life on Earth. I asked, in a previous newsletter, “which do we want more: our phones or our planet?” There is only one sane answer. I ask all of you who are reading this newsletter to join with me in putting this world back on a path to survival by throwing away your cell phones, now, today. Not next year, and not tomorrow. Today. There is no other option. Tomorrow we can deal, if we dare, with climate change. But if we are to have time to answer that urgent call, we must first deal with this emergency. We must extinguish this fire. I vote for life. Do you? SLOVENIA VOTES FOR LIFE, AT LEAST FOR NOW Last Friday, while people in 250 cities were preparing for the first Global Day of Protest against 5G, Slovenia became the first country in the world to refuse 5G, at least temporarily, because of objections from scientists and the public. The Ministry of Public Administration had called a four-hour Public Consultation on Radiation Aspects in Ensuring the Operation of 5G Technologies. Among the speakers were Gregor Kos, president of the political party, Za zdravo družbo (For a Healthy Society), and Igor Šajn from Stavbna biologija Slovenije (Building Biology of Slovenia). The four-hour meeting lasted six hours. The Minister for Public Administration, Rudy Medved, announced that Slovenia is officially postponing the implementation of 5G in his country “due to possible health effects of EMFs.” On Monday, the Prime Minister of Slovenia resigned, which means that there will be new elections held, probably in April, and that 5G will be the main issue for Gregor Kos’s political party in the elections. On March 10, his party will bring in scientific experts from other countries for an all-day event on the health and environmental effects of 5G, which will take place in the Slovenia National Council (the upper house of Parliament) and will be broadcast live on national television. 60 MORE SATELLITES WERE LAUNCHED TODAY This morning, at 9:06 a.m., SpaceX launched another 60 “Starlink” satellites, bringing the number of these satellites in low orbit around the Earth up to 240. These are already streaking photographic plates at observatories around the world, although they are not even one percent of what SpaceX is ultimately planning. SpaceX already has permission from the Federal Communications Commission to litter our night skies with 12,000 satellites, has applied for an incredible total of 42,000, and is now launching them, 60 at a time, twice a month, indefinitely into the future, unless someone puts a stop to it. If they are all launched, they will far outnumber the approximately 9,000 visible stars, and will be brighter than all but 172 of them. This act of global vandalism threatens to put an end to astronomy, and to ruin the night sky forever for all of humanity, for migratory birds that orient themselves by the stars, and for all other creatures who enjoy life under the eternal unchanging sky. This act of global vandalism also threatens to bring about the sudden extinction of all or most life on the surface of the Earth, as the 12,000+ satellites will be located in the Earth’s ionosphere, and will emit extremely powerful pulsating beams of radiation into it. The ionosphere is a source of high voltage, charged at all times to an average 300,000 volts. It controls the global electrical circuit which connects every living thing -- bird, animal, tree and human -- to the Earth and sky; the electrical circuit that courses through our veins, which the Chinese call qi, and the Indians call prana. An eternal circuit of life that has been gentle and unchanging for three billion years. The Astronomers’ Appeal, called Safeguarding the Astronomical Sky, launched just a few weeks ago, already has 1,300 signatures of professional astronomers from 48 countries. They are asking for the Starlink project to be put on hold, immediately, and for all governments to abide by international treaties -- the same treaties that are invoked in the International Appeal to Stop 5G on Earth and in Space: The Outer Space Treaty of 1967 requires that the use of outer space be conducted “so as to avoid [its] harmful contamination and also adverse changes in the environment of the Earth.” The United Nations Guidelines for the Long-term Sustainability of Outer Space Activities (2018) requires users of outer space to address “risks to people, property, public health and the environment associated with the launch, in-orbit operation and re-entry of space objects.” “THE INVISIBLE RAINBOW: A HISTORY OF ELECTRICITY AND LIFE”WILL BE IN BOOKSTORES ON MARCH 2 The book that I published in hardcover on Earth Day of 2017 has been picked up by Chelsea Green, the environmental publishing house. A Global Day of Protest against 5G was just an idea three months ago. At this writing, more than 205 events in more than 195 cities in 32 countries are being planned for Saturday, January 25. Some events will also take place on Friday, January 24, when government offices are open, and on Sunday, January 26. SIXTY MORE SATELLITES TO BE LAUNCHED SHORTLY BY SPACEX

Astronomers Protest

 

SpaceX intends to launch another 60 satellites as soon as the weather is favorable, bringing the total number of "Starlink" satellites in low orbit around the Earth to 240. Originally scheduled for tomorrow, the launch has been postponed due to weather conditions.

 

An Appeal by Astronomers called "Safeguarding the Astronomical Sky" is circulating, spearheaded by Italian astronomer Stefano Gallozzi. The appeal will collect signatures for about one more week, and then will be sent to governments, institutions and agencies around the world, and to newspapers and other media.

 

Most of the satellites will be visible to the naked eye, especially in the time after sunset and before sunrise, when they will most strongly catch the glare of the sun. If tens of thousands of them are launched, say the astronomers, they will ruin the night sky for all of humanity. The satellites will not only “greatly outnumber the approximately 9,000 stars that are visible to the unaided human eye,” but will “reach the brightness of the stars in the Ursa Minor constellation,” and will be “exceeded in brightness only by 172 stars in the whole sky.”

Even if the satellites are coated with non-reflecting paint, say the astronomers, they will still eclipse stars, and their radio transmissions will cripple radio astronomy, “making the astrophysics community blind to these spectral windows” through which they are currently able to observe the universe.

 

“THERE IS NO MORE TIME TO DISCUSS, IT IS TIME TO ACT!” states the appeal.

An article about this threat to the night sky was published in the popular and widely-read science magazine, Scientific American, on January 16, 2020. It is titled, "The FCC’s Approval of SpaceX’s Starlink Mega Constellation May Have Been Unlawful." It quotes Ruskin Hartley, the Executive Director of the International Dark Sky Association. Such a large number of satellites, he says “has the potential to change our relationship, and our connection, with the universe.” And it quotes Ramon Ryan, a law student at Vanderbilt University. Ryan has written an article, to be published later this year in the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law, in which he argues that the Federal Communications Commission’s approval of 12,000 satellites was illegal because no environmental review was carried out. If the FCC is sued in a court of law, he says, it will be likely to lose.

Public attention about 5G has been focused on the plans of telecom companies to install millions of small cell towers on electric utility poles, on public buildings and schools, on bus stop shelters, in public parks, and anywhere they want in national parks and on federally owned land.

In local urban communities there would be a cell tower approximately every 500 feet along every street.
As bad as these small cell towers might seem from the standpoint of constant exposure to radio frequency (RF) radiation in close proximity to the source, perhaps an even more alarming prospect will be the beaming of millimeter length microwaves at the earth from thousands of new communication satellites.

5G will use Phased Array Antennas to shoot Beams of Radiation at Cell Phones
These satellites will use the same type of phased array antennas as will be used
by the ground-based 5G systems.


This means that they will send tightly focused beams of intense microwave radiation at each specific 5G device that is on the Earth and each device will send a beam of radiation back to the satellite. [2]
Previous generations of RF cellular communication used large antennas to send a blanket of radiation in all directions. The lower frequencies they used and the broad distribution of microwaves limited the numbers of cellular devices that could connect through an individual tall tower.
The much shorter length microwaves used for 5G will make it possible to use small phased array antennas to send and receive signals.


Phased array antennas consist of clusters of hundreds of tiny antennas that work together to shoot a ray of energy at a target just like a bullet. A cluster of these tiny antennas can be arranged
in a 4 inch by 4 inch matrix.


The rays of microwaves they produce will be strong enough to pass through walls and human bodies. If they were not strong enough to do this, then everyone with a 5G smartphone would have to stand outside when using the devices. [2]


Each 5G product will also have multiple phased array antennas which will be used to create a powerful beam of radiation back to the 5G devices mounted on electrical utility poles or toward a specific satellite in space.
These beams of radiation will also need to be strong enough to pass through walls and human flesh such as a hand or head to reach the intended destination. [2]


This means that if you are in a crowded location, such as an airport or on a train, there will be hundreds if not thousands of invisible beams of radiation flying through the environment at the speed of light.
As people move in that environment, their bodies will be penetrated by numerous beams of radiation as they walk or as other people walk around them with their 5G smartphones. [2]

5G Phones will be much more Powerful than Previous Phones

The effective radiated power of the 5G phased array antennas in phones will be
10 times more powerful than 4G phones.


No one will be free from exposure.


In addition, 5G beams of microwave radiation will be received and transmitted from new computer equipment, household appliances, and automobiles.


Stationary equipment such as Wi-Fi hubs in homes and offices will be permitted to use microwave beams that are 15 times stronger (300 watts) than the signals from 5G phones or 150 times stronger than
4G phones. [2]


Why is 5G so Much More Dangerous than Previous Microwave Communication Systems? 
Arthur Firstenberg, author, researcher, and advocate for limiting RF exposure from the environment, explains the analysis of 5G radiation that was published in Microwave News in 2002. He stated:

When an ordinary electromagnetic field enters the body, it causes charges to move and currents to flow.

But when extremely short electromagnetic pulses enter the body [5G], something else happens: the moving charges themselves become little antennas that re-radiate the electromagnetic field and send it deeper into the body.

These re-radiated waves are called Brillouin precursors.

They become significant when either the power or the phase of the waves
changes rapidly enough.

5G will probably satisfy both requirements. This means that the reassurance we are being given—that these millimeter waves are too short to penetrate far into the body—is not true. [2]

5G Satellites Will Fill the Skies

These are the companies with the biggest plans to deploy satellites:

• SpaceX: 12,000 satellites
• OneWeb: 4,560 satellites
• Boeing: 2,956 satellites
• Spire Global: 972 satellites
  

Arthur Firstenberg describes the plans of corporations who want to use 5G technology. He states:

Honeywell has already signed a memorandum of understanding to become OneWeb’s first large customer—it plans to provide high-speed Wi-Fi on business, commercial, and military aircraft throughout the world.

SpaceX would like to provide the equivalent of 5G to every person on the planet. [3]

Ground-based 5G Implementation

Ground-based 5G systems are already being implemented in dozens of major cities right now. Plans are being approved by hundreds of other cities, which will allow implementation in 2019 and beyond.
As I explained in my previous articles, cities do not have the right to “say no” to 5G. FCC regulations prevent cities from objecting on the basis of health concerns – they only can speak to issues of esthetics and the practical matter of the placement of equipment.


They are required to “say yes,” and they better do it quickly, or telecom companies will threaten them
with legal action for obstructing their plans.

Satellite Based 5G Implementation

The first two 5G test satellites were launched by SpaceX in February of 2018. Hundreds of other satellites are expected to be launched in 2019. The full set of 20,000 satellites could be put in orbit
during the next two years.


To put this into perspective, as of September 2017 there were 1,738 operating satellites into orbit around the Earth. This means the number of satellites will be 11 times greater than the current number. [4]


Environmental Catastrophe from Rockets used to Launch Satellites

Rocket fuel is very destructive to the Earth’s ozone layer which protects us from the harsh effects of radiation from the sun. In 2017, there were 90 rocket launch attempts worldwide. [5]


The rockets that use solid fuel produce massive ozone depletion. While rockets using liquid kerosene as fuel destroy less ozone, they release massive amounts of black carbon soot into the air,
especially at high altitudes.


If the number of annual rocket launches increases by 10 or more times, which is likely under the plans these corporations have made, computer models suggest that the combination of ozone depletion and release of black soot could produce a 3 degree warming effect over the Antarctic and reduce the ozone in the world’s atmosphere by 4%. [3]


Even though it will be possible for a single rocket to put multiple satellites into orbit, we are still talking about a 10 or 20 fold increase in environmental damage over what is being produced today. [3]
The 5G satellites have a relatively short lifespan, perhaps only 5 years, which means there will be high numbers of rocket launches, not just in the next few years, but in every year for the foreseeable future. [3]


Mercury-based Rocket Fuel Could Spread Neurotoxins Over the Earth

As bad as liquid and solid rocket fuels will be for the environment, Apollo Fusion is developing a mercury-based propulsion system for launching rockets.


These ion propulsion rocket engines use powerful magnets to push away small charged particles at high speeds, which generates thrust. NASA experimented with mercury ion propulsion in the 1960s, but abandoned the research.


Mercury is an extremely strong neurotoxin, which is harmful to all forms of life, especially humans.
The risks of an environmental catastrophe are monumental, because if there was a malfunction and one of these engines exploded, highly toxic mercury would be spread through the atmosphere and over the Earth. [6]


All the talk from telecom companies about 5G being a panacea for environmental protection and energy conservation is quite ridiculous when we think about the environmental damage that will be created by any of the rocket engines they choose to use for launching their satellites.


Space Junk will Pollute the Earth

Each satellite will be the size of a small refrigerator and will weigh approximately 880 pounds. [4]
With a life expectancy of only 5-years [3], this means there will be a massive amount of space junk
orbiting the Earth.


Eventually, all those satellites will fall down to Earth and will burn up as they enter the Earth’s atmosphere.
All the hazardous materials in the satellites will be released into the air and will float down to the ground
as dust or in droplets of rain.


Telecom Companies are Creating a Worldwide Disaster in the Name of Technological Progress 
5G is promoted as being the next great wonder in the plan to advance technology to create smart cities where everything and everyone is instantly connected in real time with no lags or lost signals.
Of course there will be a few costs.


Everyone will be irradiated with millimeter-size, non-ionizing radiation 24 hours a day
with completely unknown health effects.


Studies designed to investigate harm from 5G will be completed many years after the 5G systems
on the ground and in space are fully implemented.


At that point it is very unlikely that telecom companies would dismantle their systems even if it is shown that their technology is causing cancer and other diseases. They would just deny the risks.


They will tell us that the science was settled decades ago. They will tell us that evidence linking 5G to cancer and other diseases is just a conspiracy theory that only a few crackpots believe.
Millions of people will suffer from radiation exposure with symptoms such as headaches, weakness, brain fog, impaired ability to learn and reason, chest pain, and numerous other symptoms that will baffle most conventional physicians.


There is Nowhere to Hide from 5G Radiation

Today, it is possible to live in a location that has reduced levels of microwave exposure. This is accomplished by choosing a living space that is far away from cell phone towers.
However, in the near future, it won’t matter where we live, because 5G will irradiate us
wherever we happen to live or work.


Cities Can’t Say No to 5G Implementation

FCC regulations have been structured in such a way that local municipalities cannot stop telecom companies from installing 5G. They are specifically prohibited from trying to delay or stop 5G implementation on the basis of health concerns. Their only recourse is to try to make the ground-based 5G system somewhat more esthetically pleasant.


Based on what has been happening around the country, telecom companies are sweeping aside local resistance and gaining approval for their 5G systems in rapid succession.


Can 5G Implementation be Stopped?

As far as I can tell, at this point, the only way that 5G will be stopped will be by congressional action. If enough people raise a stink with their elected officials, then perhaps 5G could be put on hold
while studies are done to examine the true health risks.


Telecom investment in 5G has been massive. They are planning full implementation on the ground and in space in the next couple years. The time to object is now and not after hundreds of thousands of people become sick. [7]
