This resonates with my own experience when I lived in California. I have talked to trees on rare occasions, but since I am a Clairsentitent Empath, not Clairaudient, they shared to me through a feeling in my chest, that I could then translate into words for my friends. ("The Redwood Trees told me that the massive mudslide was a group agreement, that some agreed to sacrifice themselves to wipe out the road. They want to make a strong statement, that they don't want any more building in this valley." (Summit road in the Santa Cruz Mountains) It was similar to an intuitive flash I had that felt a feeling of "something feline in the road" before my first mountain lion encounter, when I lived in California and hiked in the wilderness. (Sure enough there was a Mountain Lion next to the fire road at Muir Beach as I returned to my truck at dusk. The warning flash saved my life!)
