To awaken is to know yourself. 11/14/2015 by John Smallman

To awaken is to know yourself.

11/14/2015 by John Smallman

Saul Audio Blog for Saturday November 14th

Judgment has been an ingrained habit within humanity for eons which has generated an intense need to be right and to judge others wrong.  However, over the last few decades, an awareness has been growing that judgment does not work, and many are attempting to release themselves from making judgments.  Obviously discernment is needed in your lives as you deal with the issues with which your human state constantly presents you, but you need to discern the difference between the two.  Judgment is making someone, including yourself, right or wrong, whereas discernment looks at an issue to see if more information can be found, or to find an alternative approach which can clarify it.

You are all One, and so your true nature is to cooperate harmoniously together, creatively and spontaneously, so that what you do produces something fresh and novel to delight you all, and therefore, of course God, your loving Father.  Love is creative, always, and so your nature, being Love, is creative.

However, in apparently separating yourselves from each other and God, you invoked fear and a very strong sense of insecurity that led to your sensed need for competitive ideas and actions by which you could outsmart one another and thereby feel somewhat secure in your separation.  A state of complete safety or security is impossible to achieve within the illusion because, feeling separated from one another, different, isolated, you feel threatened because you do not understand each other – your thoughts and feelings remain largely private and concealed – and so real trust is impossible.  When you have trusted another that trust has often been betrayed, therefore confirming that to trust another is at best unwise, and at worst quite insane.

Nevertheless, trust is an essential aspect of spiritual growth.  If you do not trust then you cannot love, and instead you close yourselves off out of fear, thinking that that will protect you from being betrayed.  If you do not trust, if you do not share yourself, it seems that you cannot be betrayed.  And, as humans, it does seem that to be discrete in what you share about yourselves is essential for your own safety.  Furthermore you read daily in the mainstream news about identity theft and the suffering to which it can lead when someone’s identity is stolen and used for criminal purposes, and this kind of information only strengthens your sense of separation and vulnerability.

But to awaken, as is humanity’s collective and irreversible intent, you need to remove your masks, your egoic personalities, the unreal identities that you present to the world.  Many of you feel that to show the real you is to invite attack on the unworthy and unacceptable selves that you have hidden behind your masks and will bring you only disdain or contempt.  Some of you may attempt to improve or strengthen that false front, that egoic personality, through the use of self-help books or by attendance at workshops and seminars that claim to show you how to become powerful and charismatic.  But it will always be false, even though it may be temporarily strengthened and enable you to convince others of your value, while underneath that impressive front that you have built you will always live in fear that your sensed sense of fraudulence or inadequacy will be discovered.

The false you is extremely vulnerable and fearful, and attempting to strengthen it instead of letting it fall away only adds to that fear and sense of vulnerability, causing you great stress.  At some point you will have to start to accept the real you, the You that you hide from, or you will effectively either stagnate or self-destruct by aligning permanently with your fear-driven egos, thus preventing yourselves from making further spiritual growth, and thus delaying your awakening.

To awaken is to know yourself, and self-knowledge occurs as you begin to let go of your protective masks and start to accept the selves that for so long you have judged as unworthy and unacceptable.  God created you, therefore you are perfect!  The unacceptable and unworthy character with whom you have identified and lived so intimately for so long is illusory, and all those apparently more worthy ones who you fear will disdain the real you are just others, also fearful of their real selves, who are hiding behind their own egoic masks.

When you make the choice to accept yourselves and then start to do so, after the initial anxiety that arises as you open up eases, you will find yourselves feeling more relaxed and less stressed because people instead of rejecting you, as you possibly feared, will seek you out.  Why?  Because, by being yourselves, you allow your energy field, which is Love, to expand and embrace those with whom you interact.  Your acceptance of others draws them to you like moths to a candle!  Only they don’t get burnt and confused, they just blossom in the loving warmth of your presence.

You incarnated at this moment in time to be Love in action, and to do so you have to drop those fearful masks and disguises and show yourselves as you truly are, beings of Love.  That is your holy task, and there are millions of you all across the world doing your individual parts and bringing humanity ever closer to the moment of awakening.

Making a daily journey within, to your holy and spiritual sanctuary, is essential, and it helps you to release those false egoic self-judgments that undermine your self-confidence and self-acceptance as you open your hears to accept the Love that surrounds you in every moment.  That divine field of Love is Reality, and It is where you have your eternal and uninterrupted existence.  While you rest in that holy place the illusion will fade briefly from your conscious awareness, allowing you to know that you are eternally loved by God and to recognize the illusion for what it is, just a diaphanous veil through which the Light of God’s Love is always shining, calling you Home.

With so very much love, Saul.

Update and 5 Steps you can Take to Be In Joy Now. December 15, 2014 By Jennifer Hoffman | Enlightening Life

"Do you remember the scene in the 'Poltergeist' movie where the little girl says "They're here!" I thought of that as I was writing this week's newsletter. It's here and we're here, are you ready? This week kicks off a two week action period, with the Uranus/Pluto square, an on going Grand Fire Trine, Jupiter stationary retrograde, Saturn enters Sagittarius, the Sun moves into  Capricorn, the Winter Solstice followed by a new moon at 0 Capricorn, Uranus goes direct, and Mercury enters shadow retrograde. That's a lot of activity and I may have left a few things out. What does this mean for us? We have been waiting all year, all decade, for this shift and we're now fully in it. How do you feel?

If getting here was harder than you thought, getting through the next few weeks may be a disappointment because following a tough journey, we expect the next steps to be difficult and I don't think these will be. In fact, I believe the only thing that will be hard about this period will be the change we have to make, from being on the defensive to being in receiving mode. The path to joy is opening up for us and we can step onto it any time we want to, if we decide to be happy and are determined to do it. That's the message for this week, 5 Steps you can Take to Be In Joy Now."    ~ Jennifer Hoffman

5 Steps you can Take to Be In Joy Now.December 15, 2014 By Jennifer Hoffman

Have you ever carried a heavy box and then, when you put it down, your arms still feel the weight of the box? Or you pick something up, expecting it to be heavy, and then nearly drop it because it is much lighter than you expected? This has been a long, arduous, journey for everyone and we have followed the light to the end of the tunnel. Now that we’re there, we have to decide how to proceed. When all of our energy has been expended towards holding the light, what do we do when that is no longer necessary? Then it’s time to celebrate but even that means our journey is finished and we need to find something else to do with our time and energy. The voyage of light and dark has led us to wholeness and now we need to learn how to be in joy. (these irises joyfully bloom in my garden each spring, they are a great source of joy to me and to everyone who admires them. They are perennials, so they come back every year — joy is like that, it doesn’t need a reason but it does require an invitation when we are ready to receive it).

We are so used to working hard that we don’t know how to work ‘soft’ or work in joy. Living under constant pressure has made us wary and watchful and we don’t know how to relax. We can take a cue from today’s generations who have a much more relaxed attitude towards life and they can, because we laid the ground work for them. They know how to be in the flow because we made it possible, but what do we do with ourselves? We need to learn how to be in the flow that we have worked so hard to create too.

A few months ago I rented a car and noticed how the agent was typing because her fingers looked like they were gliding over the keyboard. She didn’t seem to be pressing on the keys at all and her fingers were moving at lightning speed. It was a lot different from the way I type and it should be, since I learned to type on a manual typewriter, where you had to press the keys really hard. She probably learned to type on an computer, ipad, or on her phone, where pressing hard on a key made it repeat the character multiple times. Hard versus soft, pushing versus flow, work versus play, healing versus wholeness — new times require new methods.

It’s a paradigm shift for us, the generations who came here with a big mission that required our willingness to set everything else aside, including joy, to get the job done. The energy shifts we are here to make are now done and what is left will not take the big push that was once necessary. Our new mission is to open the energetic pathways for 5D and above, which are based on joy. These are dimensions without polarity and fear, karma and suffering. But how do we move ahead in life without the things that push us forward? We take the steps to be in joy and move along that energetic pathway. Here are five suggestions:

1.) Decide that you are going to be happy. That sounds too easy but it isn’t. If you start each day deciding that you are going to be happy and are determined to create space for joy in every part of your day, you will find it. We always find what we’re looking for and we receive what we intend. So look for and intend joy and it will be there for you.

2.) Be crystal clear about your intended joyful outcomes. Intention creates our reality and when we are clear about the outcomes we want, we create a direct path for them to manifest. This maintains our focus so we are not taken off course by distractions and it helps us maintain strong boundaries and manage our energy. Be clear that you want joy, joyful, and joy-filled things in your life and create the path for joy.

3.) Mind your own business to stay on your joy path. Setting an intention can make its opposite very clear to us. When we intend joy, we can also become very aware of the unhappiness around us. Our path is our only place of power and we are a better teacher when we set the example, rather than limiting our joy by trying to help others out of pity. We do our best work when we do what we do best, which is living our life and managing our own energy. We can’t make others happy or give them joy, but we can be an example of joy and of joyful living for them.

4.) Use discernment instead of judgment to stay in joy. Judgment is an opinion about whether something is right or wrong and it blocks our energy flow. With discernment we decide whether something is right or wrong for us, and then we can direct our energy flow in the most beneficial way. Discernment gives us a moment to pause before we say ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to ensure that what is before us is fully aligned with our intention. Use discernment to stay on your joy path and keep the energy flowing.

5.) Being detached allows us to care without becoming involved, it’s the difference between compassion and pity. It also gives us ‘clarity check moment’ before we choose to connect with something that will pull us off of our path and out of our energy. When we’re detached we remain on our path and connections flow to us. Distractions pull us off of our path and into situations that drain our energy. We are a joyful inspiration to everyone when we are on our own joy path.

Are you ready to start living in joy? It isn’t a way of avoiding or hiding from the world. But if we can be at any energy level we want to be at, and choose any experience of 3D that we wish, why not experience the world at the highest energy and vibration possible? The world doesn’t need more reminders of its failings and problems, it needs sources of joy to graduate into higher levels of being. We are the world’s teachers and light beacons, so let’s become sources of joy and lead the world into joyful, joy-filled, joyous being and living.

Eternal Wisdom with Uriel – Judge Not! | Illuminations Now!!

Eternal Wisdom with Uriel – Judge Not! | Illuminations Now!!
Posted on 10 July, 2014 by Brother Dave

Dearest brothers and sisters of light and love.  It is a joyous day, but then for a pure heart, every day is a joyous day.   We wish to speak with you of judgement or more specifically of the tendency of humankind to rather impetuously render judgements and the importance that you “Judge Not”.  Let us begin by saying, do not confuse judgement with discernment.

There are great changes taking place in your world consciousness.  Changes that are not always clear or understood by the conscious mind.   To a limited mind that sees more in the material world, then in the true spiritual self and world, it would seem that once again, as we lie upon the cusp of peace and love, turmoil and war rear their head as though our journey to remember the light of our beings is once again, turned back by the darkness.  But nothing could be farther from the truth.

First off, the greatest and most grievous of judgements of humanity is the judgment of duality.  Convinced as the fallen (fallen away from divine, not fallen into something) minds have been, it has long been to see everything as duality and opposites.  Even your science, says that for every action there must be an equal and opposite reaction.   Well in that statement there is a whisper of truth, but the reality is not reaction, rather it is that every action, stimulates another action.   Life is motion, energy is motion, nothing is stagnant or dead.    Action stimulates action.  It is not action then opposite reaction (though to your mind tuned to an idea opposites it looks that way).  Action > reaction is a very 3D concept.   The universe flows, not in oppositions, but in constant and eternal ways, action moves to action, moves to action, moves to action, and it continues.  No beginnings, no endings, but constant motion that expresses in many ways.   The universe seeks balance, meaning the harmonizing of energies in ways that the human mind has difficulty understanding because there is no limitation,  but never repulsive reactions.

So then, what does this all have to do with judgement?   (laughing).   Well dear brothers and sisters, it has been written in your own inspired teachings, judge not, lest you be judged and judgment belongs only to the creator, divine father, divine mother or creative source. (whatever words you are comfortable with).  Now, human mind made that into the thought, creator judges.  But creator does not judge.  The human words mean only that creator mind or essence has the perception to see all the subtle nuances of interactions in the universe and to understand how they all relate.   Creator is understanding, never judgmental.  Judgement is a concept creation of human mind, based upon this odd idea of opposites you have and finite natures.  The illusion of absolutes.   This sense that every thing must have a consequence and that humanity must render judgements, and that every action must have a reaction (judgement).    My oh my, it goes on and on and on.  Thank goodness the little children, still laugh, and sing and dance and play without such disruptive thinking.  Otherwise there never would be a moment of joy or laughter in your earthly world.

So, what is the point of all this?   (many angels laughing).   Our dear brothers and sisters we want you to realize that life is not about judgement, it is about love, compassion, hope, and living as a joyous child of the universe.

So, being Uriel and somewhat used to the erroneous judgments some have placed upon that name (remember it is a symbol for your minds, not who I am), let me state clearly.  You have all done wonderful work in your recent experiences and growth, yet still there is a great tendency to want to judge every action, person or group in the world.   Let us look at it with this symbology.   The world is like an onion.  It is made up of many layers.  Over the eons of your soul’s presence here, judgement upon judgement has been layered upon your experiences, and like the dry skin of an old onion, they have become crusty and dry.  Now for a very long time you and we have been working to move beyond all these layers of judgement, to strip down to the good, sweet and healthy part of the onion. but there remains that tendency to see actions and reactions, not to see the sum of interactions taking place, and like humanity has done for so long, to judge all those actions and reactions.   And when you do that, you simply lay back upon the onion, more dry and crusty layers.

Beloved, while there seems to you “an illusion of darkness” still holding sway over the world, it is just an illusion.   Judge Not these outer circumstances dear ones.  Judge Not!  For all is not as it seems.  Your eons of effort to restore balance to this sphere of being, to this planet, this moment, this experience is not in vain.   You have done well and continue to do well.   Now for the next step in your growth, Judge not.   Let go of such things, such reactions, such crusty layers of misperception.  No matter what your conscious mind tries to tell you, or convince you, let go.  Live what you are, divine children of the universe, do what you do as children of the divine.  Love, laugh, shine your light forth.  for in the light of your being, your perfect love birthright, will guide you.   The last great personal step is to let go of judgement.  For judgement is only love that is withheld.   When your love flows, and your being moves according to its true nature, there can be no judgement.   The universe will always seek balance, but not through human judgement.  You are love, be that love and shine it upon your world and the situations of your world, without any judgement, just love.  Then the world may not itself as you know, through the light of love, joy and peace.  It begins with you, in the now.   You are the instrument of change.

Judge not, for all judgements are equally against yourselves as against any other person, nation, force or experience.     Live, love, laugh, sing, dance, but do not judge.

You are what you live, what you express.  And you receive what you live, what you express.   You are children of the divine source, co-creators of all that is and creation is your play.   Judgments only take away from the joy of being who you are.

Judge Not!

Our love is with you, even as your love is with us.  We are all one, infinite expressions of creator’s love, ever-growing and changing.  This world is changing, trust it is so, and give no credence to the illusions of judgement.   Love, laugh, sing, dance, create happy!

Uriel, with Brother David and all the legions of angels who love you greatly.

Containers For The Soul a message from Ann Albers

Containers For The Soul
a message from Ann Albers

Saturday, 14 June, 2014  (posted 19 June, 2014)

Each one of you is a beautiful part of creation. Each one of you holds within your very being, within your mind, body, and emotions, even within your DNA, the potential to be anyone you choose to be in the whole of creation. However, before you come to earth, you select various traits that you will embody and embrace - skin color, eye color, hair, size, shape, emotional makeup, mental points of view given to you by parents, society, etc. These will be your soul’s “containers” while you are on the earth, until at long last you realize you are not the containers, but rather something so much more.

It is important that you honor these containers for the functions they serve. Love your body as it is now, even if you want to change it later. It is teaching you to love yourself more deeply. Honor your own emotions for they guide you to a deeper truth about what it is you wish to experience in any given moment. They are messages from your soul. Embrace your ideologies because they allow you to explore various aspects of self, while all the while allowing others’s theirs as well.

These containers - the mind, body, emotions - are often called “the ego” and “the ego” seems to have a very bad reputation in your human minds. In reality “the ego” is simply a container for the soul, a little vessel that limits your experience so you can, in a sense, enroll in certain classes her upon the earth. “The ego” is neither good nor bad. It defines your sacred point of view this lifetime - what aspects of the infinite that you wish to explore.

Problems occur when you begin to believe “your ego” is the only right container for the soul - when you expect others to look as you think they should, feel as you think they should, and believe as you believe they should. This is like a glass of water saying to the pitcher, “You should be a glass like me!” or the river saying to the ocean, “Why are you so spread out? You should run through a channel as I do!” or the ocean saying to the river, “Why are you so confined! Relax! Spread out! Let go.”

By all means, embrace who you are and wish to be in any given moment. Be clear about who and what you want in your lives and make no apology for your own sacred point of view. However, allow others their own as well, for their bodies, beliefs and feelings define their classes here upon the earth. Share yours of course, but try to allow others theirs as well. When you embrace your own sacred point of view you can, without apology, move closer to those with whom you resonate and kindly move away from those with whom you do not. You can allow others who respect your particular brand of light to move closer, and you can kindly and firmly create boundaries for those who do not.

While each one of you is part of one great love, you choose to experience this love in different forms during a lifetime, and at different points in your life. Allow yourselves this freedom. Allow others the same. And in so doing, you grant the world a deep and ever changing, but lasting peace.
Message From Ann

The cactus says with all its thorny being… “If you want to harm me stay away, but if you simply want to rest in the shelter of my being, come on in!” Birds are welcome to burrow and nest in its cool interior, but predators who would rip it apart to steal a drink of the water stored within are kept away by the elaborate array of thorns.

Likewise, we can welcome those who treat us with love, respect, and kindness to come closer and be a part of our lives, while at the same time feeling no guilt whatsoever about kindly and firmly creating boundaries for those who would attempt to siphon our life force or treat us with less than loving kindness.

I struggled with the issue of boundaries in the past. I use to think that “loving all” meant indiscriminately allowing everyone to have their way in my life. I answered every call, every email, and gave up my own health and well being for the sake of serving others - all the while burning myself out and wondering why no one took care of me.

It was the angels who taught me years ago that healthy boundaries are an act of love. When you know who you are and what you want in your life you have no problem at all being lovingly and graciously kind and clear. There is no need for defensiveness or judgment - that comes from being insecure about your own sacred point of view.

Years ago I went up to a well known author at a conference where we were both speaking and asked him if he ever read and endorsed books by others. He snapped a quick “No!” at me and looked away. Later I went up and apologized to him for disturbing him, making it clear that I had no expectation but embraced the philosophy that if I didn’t ask, I wouldn’t know. He apologized for snapping and said that in truth he wished he could help everyone but just didn’t have the time, and that it was still hard for him to say no. I told him I completely understood… and made a mental note to firmly “own” my decisions so I could be more gracious with my own “no’s” in the future.

Boundaries, rather than pushing life away, allow others to see who you you choose to be, and to know their place inside or outside of your own own sacred sphere of existence. As the angels like to say, “Judgment says no right to be. Discernment says not right for me.”

When you embrace your own sacred point of view, you find a healthy balance between self care and service… simply by honestly honoring the guidance in your heart and your truth in each moment.

So this week, honor and respect the light within you.

When you truly become comfortable with who you are and what you want in your life, you tap into the endless and honest energy of the Divine as it wishes to express itself through your life and your being.

Please feel free to share any of my messages or posts. The only thing I ask is a small note: ©Ann Albers, www.VisionsofHeaven.com
