A QUOTE attributed to author Mark Twain comes to mind as I review the planetary aspects for the coming week: "If you don't like the weather now, just wait a few minutes." We see both potentials for progress and a seeming delay in the action, depending on which days of the week we're observing.

The constant “white noise” we’ll hear throughout the week is provided by Saturn. The Ringed Planet is moving very slowly now, which increases its effect in our lives. We often feel more alone or more serious when Saturn's influence is strong. Projects and even time itself can seem to move at a snail's pace.

SATURN is known astrologically as the Teacher, the Lord of Karma, the Lesson Bringer, and Father Time. Its lessons usually require that we develop qualities of patience, discipline, maturity, and responsibility. Throughout this week and next, we will need to apply those qualities somewhere in our lives, based on where Saturn is transiting in our natal charts.

Since March 25, when Saturn went retrograde (backward) in Sagittarius, we've been reassessing what we truly believe in, what we trust, and what adds deeper meaning to our lives. Situations and events have manifested with the intention of guiding us to find the answers to these questions. We may also have been facing delays in projects or felt that goals we've set were beyond our reach.

As Saturn stations on Saturday and then slowly starts to move forward over the next few weeks, some of these restrictions should also gradually be eased. If we've learned the lessons that Saturn has sent our way since late March, we can start to utilize our new strength and certainty to move steadily towards the achievement of our higher aspirations -- those goals that align with our values and our truth.

IN THE FIRST few days of the week, we're supported in accessing the tools, ideas, and strategies that will help us make progress toward those goals. On Monday, Mercury aligns with the North Node in Virgo, helping us become aware of ways we can bring greater order to our lives.

A Mercury-Pluto aspect on Wednesday empowers us further and encourages us to share our truth from a place of deep conviction. The caution with this aspect is to be aware of the power of words and to speak with consideration for the other's perspective.

THE WEATHER CHANGES toward the end of the week; a Jupiter-Chiron aspect on Friday may bring up old insecurities and a general fearfulness, especially if we have already been experiencing a lack of faith and trust. Our healing of this wound requires taking the time to go within and open energetically to the embrace of our soul and the Light. This exercise reassures and reminds the fearful aspect of our being that we are supported and connected.
Saturday could be a pivotal day in our relationships or in a financial decision, due to a Venus-Saturn aspect. Our challenge is to be discriminating without being overly critical or negative.

On Sunday, we may soften our approach. A Venus-Neptune aspect opens our hearts so that we feel more compassion and acceptance. The challenge with this aspect is not to seesaw between polarities, but instead to balance skepticism with acceptance, practicality with idealism, and doing with being.

IF YOUR BIRTHDAY IS THIS WEEK: The focus this year is on bringing greater order into your life and your relationships. You are shifting old patterns of avoidance or withdrawal, and concentrating on achieving practical results. Along the way, you will be healing the insecurities that have kept you from being effective, and you will start to feel more passionate about your options. You will feel most satisfaction when your actions are fully aligned with what you believe in.

In peace,

Pam
