Capricorn season continues with Mars, Sun, and Pluto all in the 10th sign of the zodiac, and perhaps bringing up more determination to get to higher ground in your life in 2024. A powerful reflection phase could also be arriving as you look at how your life and Capricorn energies have dramatically transformed since 2009. Stay cautiously aware as the Sun in Cap squares Chiron in Aries at 15 deg on Jan 6 and then Mercury in Sagittarius makes a third and final square to Neptune in Pisces at 25 deg on Jan 8, which could feel like mental exhaustion, fatigue, or overwhelm at what you need to do in the new year. Energy clearing could be very beneficial right now, especially with strong Aquarius energies arriving later in January that will take us to higher timelines and potentials. This week we wax to the Capricorn full moon by Monday July 3 brining illumination and completion to your Capricorn area of life in your birth chart for anything started the past 6 months -  systems, structures, rules, responsibilities, commitments, goals and ambitions are ready to change in that area of your life.

There is a grand water trine in place with Saturn the sun, mercury, the moon and the nodes of Fate showing serious matters in positive alignment connected to emotions, needs, home, family, property, and domestic life issues along with safety and security developments for the future. If you want support or have to deal with authority figures i suggest doing so by mid to late week as they might be more cooperative and supportive with what you want and need, as the sun and Mercury trine Saturn.

The wildcard aspect this week is Venus square Uranus entering a three part process until Oct.  Money/resources and relationships want to try something new or could experience something new. Sudden new relationships are possible. Be open to changes in love and money dynamics. Drama is likely. There could be some unexpected surprising situations and disruptions in the markets or in your love life with positive or negative potentials, depending.
Strong needs and desires for something could be acted on impulsively. Some conflict events in social situations are also possible.

Neptune Station retrograde has dreams, fantasies and romance very strong, but a turning point in those things and the beginning of an internalization process. Some doubts and uncertainty is possible as Neptune slowly changes direction from earth's perspective.

NorthPoint Astrology Journal Your weekly guide to planetary influences September 14 to 20, 2020 by Pam Younghans Aspects of Note This Week   All times listed are Pacific Daylight Time. For Greenwich Mean Time, add 7 hours.    MON: Sun trine Pluto TUE: Venus square Uranus WED: Mercury sesquiquadrate Ceres, Sun square nodal axis  THU: Mercury square Jupiter, New Moon 4:00 a.m. PDT, Sun sesquiquadrate Uranus, Sun trine Saturn FRI: Mercury quincunx Neptune SAT: Sun quincunx Mars SUN: Mercury square Pluto   AGAINST A BACKDROP of smoke and fire, confusion and anger, we are advised by the Virgo Sun to simply put one foot in front of the other, to focus on the tasks at hand, and to offer what assistance we can. The tension and the air quality have both been especially problematic since last week, when warrior Mars went retrograde in fiery Aries. Our thoughts and heart prayers go out to all human, animal, and plant life being affected by current environmental and social challenges.   We now enter the last full week of Virgo, leading up to the Libra Equinox on September 22. The astrological highlight this week is our New Moon on Thursday, September 17, which occurs at 4 a.m. PDT (11 a.m. GMT).   A NEW MOON is always an opportunity to set new intentions, and with this lunation in Virgo – the sign dedicated to selfless service – we will want to consider how we can most effectively be a representative for the Light during these extraordinary times.   But, Virgo can be an efficiency expert, having little patience for the time it might take to intuitively sense our next steps. Virgo can also be critical or pessimistic if not seeing immediate or tangible results for our efforts. Another hazard of the sixth sign is a tendency to compare our offerings (unfavorably) against another's contributions. Because of these qualities of the sign, we want to remember the word "practice."   HERE'S a lovely and relevant quote from Ram Dass that I shared on facebook this morning:   “When you go out into the woods and you look at trees, you see all these different trees. And some of them are bent, and some of them are straight, and some of them are evergreens, and some of them are whatever. And you look at the tree and you allow it. You appreciate it. You see why it is the way it is. You sort of understand that it didn’t get enough light, and so it turned that way. And you don’t get all emotional about it. You just allow it. You appreciate the tree.   "The minute you get near humans, you lose all that. And you are constantly saying ‘You’re too this, or I’m too this.’ That judging mind comes in. And so I practice turning people into trees. Which means appreciating them just the way they are.”   I especially like that Ram Dass said that he practices turning people into trees. He was sharing a technique for interrupting our tendency to judge others, but he was also acknowledging that we must not condemn ourselves for not being immediately perfect at holding a new attitude or perspective.   AT THE TIME of the New Moon, a mutable grand cross is formed between the Sun/Moon in Virgo, Neptune in Pisces, the South Node in Sagittarius, and the North Node in Gemini. A grand cross is a stressful configuration that requires us to grow in self-awareness, as we must learn to navigate conflicting interests. This particular grand cross pushes humanity to take another step in our evolutionary growth, and indicates that the next four weeks will be highly pivotal in that developmental process.    With the nodal axis now in Gemini/Sagittarius, our next stage of evolution requires that we shift from judgment into acceptance, from self-righteousness into tolerance, and from dogmatism into impartiality. This is another reason I find the quote from Ram Dass to be so appropriate right now.   THE NEW MOON occurs when the Sun and Moon conjoin at 25°00′ Virgo. This lunation is unique, and impacts multiple areas of our shared experience, because the New Moon forms aspects with every one of the other main planets, with the exception of Mercury. The tightest aspects – and therefore the strongest – are the squares to the nodal axis (00°33′), a trine to Saturn (00°26′), and a sesquiquadrate to Uranus (00°15′).   Saturn's helpful aspect to the New Moon represents an opportunity to realign with our highest integrity. Although Saturn and Mars are both currently retrograde, indicating some delays in forward progress, this trine can help fortify our inner strength and stabilize our intentions. The more work we do on ourselves right now, shoring up our internal foundations, the more prepared and better equipped we will be to move forward when the time is right.   However, Uranus is in hard aspect to the New Moon, which tosses a wild card into the game. Uranus deals in the currency of surprises – and with Uranus currently in earthy Taurus, the unexpected may well be in the form of weather events and environmental shifts. These upsets can, ultimately, serve to increase awareness about humanity's impact on the natural world. With Uranus, breakdowns occur to carve a path for breakthroughs to follow.   HERE is our day-by-day unfolding for the coming week:   Monday Sun trine Pluto: This empowering influence enables us to focus our attention on whatever next steps will take us closer to our goal. This trine enhances a sense of our life's higher mission, and helps us align with it.   Tuesday Venus square Uranus: A day of some surprises and drama, especially in the realms of values, relationships, and material well-being. Be flexible in your expectations. Allow others plenty of space to have their own opinions. Take a break from your routine to get clearer on what you most value. Find something that you appreciate, and spend some time in gratitude for having that manifestation in your life, no matter how small.   Wednesday Mercury sesquiquadrate Ceres: Frustrations and disagreements on the home front can evoke feelings of helplessness or hopelessness. Take care not to fall into victim or martyr mode. Know that we cannot keep others from their lessons. Remember that unconditional love means holding the energy of love under all conditions, and that you can embody this high-level energy without defaulting to self-sacrifice.  Sun square Nodes: A prelude to tomorrow's New Moon energies, challenging us to move beyond outdated beliefs, judgments, and misperceptions.   Thursday Mercury square Jupiter: Opinions and beliefs are expressed without restraint, especially over the fairness (or lack thereof) of the legal system. Big ideas must be considered realistically. New Moon, Sun sesquiquadrate Uranus, Sun trine Saturn: See New Moon descriptions, above.   Friday Mercury quincunx Neptune: Options are unclear, requiring an adjustment in our thinking. Vacillations and uncertainty make this a day to avoid making concrete decisions.   Saturday Sun quincunx Mars: Conflict over strategies, as what appears to be the most efficient plan may interfere with individual rights. A third option will be needed to accommodate both needs.   Sunday Mercury square Pluto: Verbal altercations, opinions strong. Words are laserlike, with the ability to wound deeply. Be cautious in insisting that another agree with your truth, as resistance is strong and demands will only create bigger gaps between you.   IF YOUR BIRTHDAY IS THIS WEEK: This year is very active, with many areas of your life being affected. Relationships go through an adjustment, as you figure out what you really want in this area. Watch a tendency to be overly critical, either of self or other. Focus on what you truly believe in, and what provides the greatest meaning for your life. Once you get in touch with those truths, you have the internal strength needed to manifest your goals. NorthPoint Astrology Journal Your weekly guide to planetary influences April 20 to 26, 2020 by Pam Younghans Aspects of Note This Week   All times listed are Pacific DaylightTime. For Greenwich Mean Time, add 7 hours.    MON: Sun square Saturn WED: New Moon 7:25 p.m. PDT THU: Ceres enters Pisces FRI: Sun semisquare Neptune, Mercury conjunct Eris  SAT: Mercury square Pluto, Pluto stations retrograde, Venus sesquiquadrate Saturn, Mercury square Jupiter SUN: Sun conjunct Uranus   ONE of our spiritual tasks this week – and throughout these uncertain times – is to find beauty and peace amidst otherwise stressful conditions. While we may not always be as successful at this as we would like to be, with time, we can train ourselves with new habits of thought and practice.   We are tested in these new skills on Monday, when the Taurus Sun is square Saturn. Hard aspects involving Saturn usually provide a reality check on some level. They can feel heavy or even evoke some fear, requiring us to develop greater maturity, patience, and inner strength.   IN THE OUTER WORLD, this square represents the need to take stock of how we've been managing the resources that we rely on to support ourselves physically. These resources include the environment, food supply, finances, and material goods. Under this influence, we may be especially aware of lack or insecurity in one or more of these areas. But, this awareness is ultimately helpful, for it allows us to make necessary course corrections.   On a personal growth level, our challenge is to strengthen our sense of inner security, rather than relying on outer circumstances to reassure us. If we require outer forms to stabilize before we become peaceful within, we will be always checking conditions to make sure we're still safe. Once we find an inner serenity, our sense of well being is no longer controlled by the latest news release.   A NEW LUNAR CYCLE begins at 7:25 p.m. PDT on Wednesday, when the Sun and Moon align at 3°24′ Taurus. With the New Moon in close proximity to unpredictable Uranus, we can anticipate some surprises this week, and over the next four weeks as the Moon waxes and then wanes. And yet, the New Moon is also in square aspect to Saturn, reminding us of that need to focus on inner stability as the waves of change continue to roll through our experience.   The New Moon is also in harmonious aspect with the nodal axis, those points in space that reveal our karmic past and evolutionary future. This means that our new lunar cycle can potentially play an important role in moving us toward a higher destiny, one that is guided more by personal connections and caring (North Node in Cancer) than by the controls wielded by authority (South Node in Capricorn).   This lunation provides an opportunity for us to integrate the qualities of the Divine Feminine even more fully into our beings. With the nodes scheduled to change signs on May 4, we are nearing a completion point of these lessons – so it's time to show the universe what we've learned.   CONDITIONS are quite variable in the last half of the week. Protests have already been on the rise since April 10, when Mercury, the planet of Communication, entered assertive Aries. This week, Mercury aligns with the dwarf planet Eris (Friday), and then squares Pluto and Jupiter (Saturday).   These aspects indicate an intensification of clashes between individual rights and the power of government. Orators may feel especially impassioned under this influence, but the wiser of them will understand their responsibility for what actions their words could incite. On an individual level, tempers are likely to be short, and words can be laser-like in their ability to cut through to the heart of a matter. Although we may feel driven to speak a truth, we must also be aware of the power of words to hurt or heal.   THE POTENCY of the square between Mercury/Eris and Jupiter/Pluto is even greater than it might be at other times, because Pluto stations retrograde on Saturday. Whenever a planet changes direction – from direct to retrograde (backward) or vice versa – it must slow to a standstill before it reverses course. As it reaches its "station," we feel its effects even more strongly than at other times.   Because this weekend's influences are so far-reaching, we must consider other manifestations that go even deeper than an angry exchange or two. Pluto reveals what has been hidden, Mercury conveys information, Eris demands to be heard, and Jupiter magnifies the situation. As such, suspicions are more easily aroused, and resentments that have been building reach the surface. Everything seems exaggerated, as if we were looking into a distorting mirror at the carnival. Conspiracy theories abound, and there is an obsession with getting to the truth of the matter.   Since these themes "christen" Pluto's retrograde phase, they will continue to play out over the next five months. It is interesting to note that when Pluto finally stations direct on October 4, it will be exactly square retrograde Mars. That is when we are likely to see additional fall-out from whatever issues arise this week, and perhaps an even more proactive response.   NEXT SUNDAY is the exact alignment between the Sun and Uranus. This influence, which is contained in the New Moon chart, gains full expression over the weekend. This marks only the second time that the two planets have aligned since Uranus entered Taurus in 2018.   We usually expect dramatic events when the Sun and Uranus align, and their first alignment in Taurus on April 22, 2019, lived up to its reputation. That week, pertinent news headlines included the fire at Notre Dame cathedral, a speech by Greta Thunberg at the Extinction Rebellion protest in London, a mudslide in Myanmar that buried more than 50 jade miners, and two large earthquakes in the Philippines.   Uranian events often shake our foundations, either literally or figuratively. Earthquakes, volcanoes, mudslides, and other acts of nature are common when Uranus is strong, especially with the planet now in earthy Taurus.   MANIFESTATIONS of Uranus can be disruptive, since they usually involve sudden changes that throw us off balance at first. But, there's a much more palatable expression of Uranus that we can take advantage of this week.   At its highest expression, Uranus is associated with higher consciousness. It is called the "higher octave" of Mercury, with Mercury representing the logical mind, and Uranus symbolizing the Greater Mind.  If you are doing any work in retraining your brain, this is a powerful week to see advancements. Meditations that open us up to insights from a higher form of intelligence are not only supported but enhanced. If you've been blessed with heightened intuitive or extrasensory experiences lately, you are likely to see even more developments over the coming days.   We may experience a form of "lift off" this week, especially around the time that the Moon exactly aligns with Uranus (Thursday, April 23, at 1:29 a.m. PDT) and the Sun-Uranus conjunction (Sunday, April 26, at 2:00 a.m. PDT). Be sure to ground yourself several times a day, and call in Divine Light to make sure your experiences are of the highest frequency.   FOR THOSE who are tracking lunar aspects, here is this week's watch list: Moon in Aries square Pluto: Wed, Apr 22, 2:31 a.m. PDT Moon in Aries square Jupiter: Wed, Apr 22, 5:32 a.m. PDT Moon in Taurus square Saturn: Wed, Apr 22, 3:39 p.m. PDT Moon in Taurus conjunct Uranus: Thu, April 23, 1:29 a.m. PDT   IF YOUR BIRTHDAY IS THIS WEEK: This is a powerful year for you, on multiple levels. At the same time, you are opening to a more cosmic perspective on reality. Although exciting, this can also be disconcerting for earthy Taurus. If you allow the shift to occur, and let go of your old definitions of self, you will find new opportunities await you.
