10/11 ~ Sun (core essential Self) ~square~ Jupiter (imagination & truth):
This
is a powerful energy and with that comes the necessity of discernment –
it provokes you to get lots of things accomplished and that’s a good
thing, however, beware of taking on more than you can actually handle.
Having said that now, if you need that little “push” to get some things
done, this is just the energy for you. It carries with it the optimism
necessary to allow you to go beyond your norm and stretch in new ways.
Sometimes there can be a tendency toward self-righteousness with this
energy, but try to make it “self-directed” and you will benefit
greatly. Walk your talk, embody your Truth. However, if you turn it on
others, demanding they believe what you believe, you may have some
difficulties. Be open & receptive, have a don’t-know mind because
you never know what you may learn along the way that could really help
you, now or in the future.

10/12 ~ Jupiter (Consciousness
& Belief Systems) ~sextile~ Neptune Rx (Faith & Connection to
Spirit): (3 of 3: 2/20 ~ 7/27 ~ 10/12)
This is an
opportunity to connect to miracles, if you believe in them. It may be
miracles, but it may also be the alignment between your Heart &
Soul, that part of you that trusts your intuition and believes in a
higher power or Source or Universal presence. There are a couple of
expressions of this energy. This is a time when your spiritual beliefs
expand, taking on a more broad, Universal feel. You may feel the urge to
work with those less fortunate (never a bad idea) or you may meet
someone that expands your thinking, opening you to new concepts of
faith. Under this influence, you may feel more optimistic &
philosophical than usual, about your life. It can be a fabulous energy
to connect to, because when you are optimistic & faithful, as well
as truly connected to the whole, you can manifest almost instantly.
However, keep in mind that there are probably some very real challenges
that you are facing, which require tangible efforts to resolve. Stay
focused on the possibilities, while still doing what needs to be done to
facilitate the highest possible outcome. The only challenge with this
energy is that Jupiter, the planet of expansion and optimism, is
getting together with Neptune, the planet of no boundaries, so be
mindful of any excesses of any kind. Remember, all things in balance,
it is rare that excess serves the higher good.

10/12 ~ Mercury (thoughts) ~sextile~ Venus (art & beauty):
This is a great opportunity to beautify your ideas, improve or deepen
them so they are expressing more of your unique authenticity.
Communication in relationships usually goes well under this influence.
This energy also turns your thoughts and ideas toward how you feel and
what inspires you with love & beauty. This is a great time to be
particularly creative, or do something that activates your own Inner
Artist. It is best to keep it light and let go of your mundane burdens
just for a time. Pleasure reading, a walk on the beach, a play or museum
are all good things to do at some point this week, if possible.

10/13 ~ Mercury Retro in SCORPIO (until Nov 3rd):
Mercury
lingering in Scorpio is asking us all to do a little processing &
integration in that Area of Life (House). It is time to process things
in a different way, look at life from a different perspective and
review the last quarter, 3-months, minimum. If you want to go further,
2014 was the last year that Mercury went backwards in a Water Sign,
asking us to review dark thoughts & release toxic emotions and then
forward in an Air Sign, asking us to claim or express a new level of
conscious awareness. The ultimate goal is to blend the wisdom of your
intellect with the wisdom of your gut-instincts. You have six or more
senses that are yours alone. They are part of your own system of
communication and they all bring you various kinds of information about
your life, your environment and your world. I have always said that I
don’t think it is too much to ask that we do a mental review 3-4 times
per year because now, more than ever, we are picking up more information
than we can ever apply or use in a lifetime. So periodic clearings are
extremely helpful, it’s like pruning in the garden, it helps your
Mental Body grow better.

Mercury Retrograde is
best for activating different filters for everything, detach and
consider it personal research. I’d remind you here that it’s an
excellent time to turn all your inquiry & expression INWARD and
reflect on how your Mental Body is doing. It is a delicious practice to
get into scheduling your personal processing times to coincide with a
Mercury Retrograde, especially when in Signs that directly affect you
because then, it is personal. This year, my Scorpio & Libra Babies
will have some extra processing to do but for the rest of us, the
process still happens, and you want to look to the Houses in your chart
to find the Areas of Life being activated for you personally. It’s not
listed anymore but I still do a Special Mercury Retro reading if you
ever want to dive deeper with me. 2020 is going to be a Water/Air combo
and 2021 will be All Air, which also happens about every 5-6 years when
Mercury will activate one Element so you can loosely track your own
mental evolution.

This Mercury Retrograde in
particular, will help you to gauge your emotional maturity over the
last 3-6-9-12 months, the cultivation (and execution) of your ideas,
thoughts & concepts, what you’ve learned – and in this case,
Scorpio: what have you learned about your own personal power to create
your world with your thoughts? What do you think about your sex life at
this time? How are you making yourself more valuable to the team so you
can establish more financial stability? What mental attitude has run
its course and needs to die so a new mental attitude can live and
thrive in real time?

Things to remember about Mercury Retro in SCORPIO:
♥ It is a conception point in some way, shape or form. You’re
conceiving a new way of thinking, perceiving & processing what
you’re learning as you navigate the year.
♥ Shadow work of any kind is deeply supported & particularly fruitful under this influence.
♥ It’s time to activate your Inner Detective and choose to
“investigate” (with no judgment on what you discover) – you are merely
gathering information on your own mind, mental body, mentality, how you
think, express yourself and process the world around you – then,
ultimately synthesize that into a belief system that guides your
personal Story.
♥ It’s time to communicate on a Soul Level and
connect with your deepest emotions, face your fears, research taboos,
dig out secrets that are growing toxic and renew your connection to
your own Soul. All with the goal of reestablishing balance within.

Here we sometimes access our own unique RAW TRUTH (which is more/less
challenging depending on your individual Nature) – but remember, you
are not only uncovering the dark, negative ideas, thoughts &
concepts, but Shadow is also where we hide our true gifts when they
aren’t well-received by others.
♥ Consciousness: Once certain
things are brought into the light of conscious awareness, they can be
transformed or transmuted so the energy is liberated and freed up to be
useful elsewhere. So too will you find your own buried treasure,
hidden potential or untapped resources you have yet to consider, when
you do this kind of personal inventory and conscious clearing
periodically.
♥ Any time in the Scorpio realms we have to
acknowledge our own Shadow. I suggest giving it something to do so it
doesn’t undermine your evolution with toxic, repetitive patterns,
mental, physical or emotional.
♥ This is a good time to reclaim
the power of your mind. What are you allowing to influence your
thoughts & ideas? It’s time to re-set to your original blueprint
and start fresh in some way.
♥ Remember the creative and
destructive power of language. It is time to renew your language or
learn a new language altogether.

10/13 ~ Sun (core essential Self) ~oppose~ Mars Rx (purpose & desire):
This
energy is a push-pull between who you think you are and what you say
you want and how your choices reveal the truth. For some, it can feel
like a very confrontational energy that often manifests by awakening
you to some deeper truth about your true nature (confronting a new
aspect of Self in a whole new way). Of course, confrontations can also
manifest with others who have opposing views of you or your situation.
This is a personal awakening and a potent midpoint in any cycle, which
is the most powerful course-correcting time. Here, at the midpoint, how
is it going? How do your life & choices reflect your true purpose
& deepest desire for your own life? It is a powerful time, and you
will find out what you are made of and if your choices were made from
your Higher Self or your lower will. You may feel uncomfortable with
what is revealed at this time, but you are deeply supported as you
recognize your own unconscious extremes and find your new, conscious
middle ground. If you find yourself dealing with inner or outer
struggles, try to pause to question your motivation and determine the
depth of your desire to continue in that direction. Often, we act out
of habit and right now, it is time to be fully present. The best way to
use this energy is to own any ego issues, put them in perspective and
decide to be more congruent with your thoughts, words and deeds.

10/15 ~ Sun (illumination) ~square~ Pluto (transformation):
This
is a challenge to grow out of your comfort zone and into new
territory. That said, with Pluto in Capricorn (2008-2024), twice a year
for these 16-years, when the Sun is in Aries (Spring) and Libra (Fall),
we get an opportunity to grow & change in fundamental departments
of life: self vs other and home vs work. In this case, and during these
years, we are literally changing how we do ALL of this. Each year
builds on the previous and we are now 12-years into the 16-year process
of transformation – that is the third and final quarter, an incredibly
potent point in time & space. It is here that you have the most
information to consciously work with as you prepare for the final
4-years, and ultimately, what you would like to get out of your
conscious efforts and dedication. Sun helps us clarify and when working
with Pluto, it is usually what is NOT working, what has run its course
and is ready to be composted into new Life, new growth and a new
direction (for Self). Pluto is the Purifier, distilling things back to
their true and original essence, fight that and it can be painful, work
with it consciously and it can be transformative and will heal you at
the deepest root of any challenge. You can use this activation to honor
that which has become obvious, or is highlighted in the here & now
and purge or purify this energy. You are deeply supported for releasing
old patterns and setting new conscious practices into action. Tie up
loose ends, close multiple chapters, mourn & move on. As you do
that, you will feel lighter & brighter and more grounded in your
true Self, your evolved Self.

10/16 ~ LIBRA Super/New Moon:
The
Libra New Moon is an excellent time to set your intentions for
restored balance within your own Being, enabling healthier
relationships, naturally. Keep in mind you will always attract your own
*Vibrational Match* … so how’s your vibe these days? Inviting,
welcoming … or … guarded and suspicious? This is the month to set
intentions around conscious equal partnership, whether public or
private, short-term or long-term, balance is the key. This is the month
to honor The Scales that we must weigh our personal progress against
our obvious manifestations in relationships (for better or worse). It’s
time to assess the strength & value of each one (one-by-one) and
what kind of time, energy & resources you have and are willing to
invest further with this person, situation or agreement. Soulful
kinship and a sense of belonging are vital for most humans and this
year, we will cultivate that more than ever. We can renegotiate as we
go, at regular intervals, and I highly recommend that you do. We can be
part of something without being burdened by it. We can have soulful
connections without losing ourselves. We can still love each other even
if/when we do not agree. It’s time to define your individual terms and
start renegotiating with those who matter, while releasing those
people, situations or agreements which are no longer relevant or
useful.
