MAY DAY! EARTH OFFERS SUPPORT
Sun is in Taurus now; Mercury
too. The Winged Messenger might seem
stuck in the mud—but it's the mud of Taurus,
deep, fragrant, fertile, and life-giving.
We remain sequestered, and the earth
rests and regenerates. Perhaps she offers
the traditional May Day posies even
more generously than before, in appreciation.
And we too have this nourishing opportunity.
This first week of May is steeped in the
powerful, fertile, potent energy of Taurus.
This is a time to plans, to initiate, to
look forward, to communicate deeply
and clearly with loved ones, and above all
to enjoy the beauty, conviviality, warmth,
abundance, artistry, and joy of the life and lives
all around us, and of which we are each a part.
