Proximity to Area 51 spurred all kinds of jokes and hypotheses about crashed UFOs. They are blowing up the DUMBs is what I heard. Earthquakes are a side effect. Look to see how close the epicenters are to Military bases etc. recent earthquakes near Las Vegas, Bakersfield, Colorado...rumors abound. But a 6.5 is pretty big! Could even be NATURAL!😄 (Watch for those black helicopters we used to see in California! )
