One that would have the fruit must climb the tree. Thomas Fuller

Train up a fig tree in the way it should go, and when you are old sit under the shade of it. Charles Dickens
Cut not the bough that thou standest upon. Romanian Proverb
August's new Moon occurs on the 2nd in the US and the UK, and on the 3rd in Australia. It's a very meaningful lunation, and one that is bound to bring all kinds of energies to the table. The new Moon is in a trine aspect with Saturn, which can have us feeling the need to get organised, to lighten our loads, to free up energies that have been seemingly stationary for some time. Saturn is stationing direct (it is turning direct in mid August), and is spending several days on Sagittarius 10: A Golden Haired Goddess Of Opportunity. For a start, this feels like the nomination of Hillary Clinton - it can also feel like Donald Trump, as his hair is often mentioned. Both candidates are certainly darlings of the media and get a lot of media attention. And, the media is often involved with this Symbol.
Saturn is in a square aspect with Neptune. This can bring us face-to-face with our dreams, illusions, ideals, etc, and there can be a feeling of crashing and burning - at least on some level. There can be a sense of dismay, depression even, and, we can feel like the world is going in 'the wrong direction'. A realignment with 'faith', whatever that means to the individual, may be needed, along with the need to drop judgements, to drop the worrying, to lighten your load. One has to laugh, even if one wants to cry. Shattered illusions could have us wondering if things will ever get better and we may be wondering what is true and what is false. As always, it comes down to our perspective.
It seems that there is a lot of cognitive dissonance going on. We can be confronted with information and just not see it. It's like so many are standing in the forest and not seeing the trees. It's a very interesting time, and, it's a stressful time, and, I sense that no one is immune to the shape-shifting that's going on, in the political and social arenas, as well as in our emotions and personal lives. Soon, Mercury will come into the picture with Saturn, Neptune and the Moon's nodes, adding to the sense of push-me pull-you that's been going on. We may have to take off our blinders, to remove our 'veil' in order to see more clearly. Certainly, we will be pushed to make decisions and we might decide that some things need to be dropped from our lives, OR, we may have that decision made for us.
Adding to all of this is Venus and Mars squaring each other.
At least Mars has left Scorpio, which is a relief, but, of course, it
is heading for a conjunction with Saturn, again, and this can have us
coming up against reality in a way that we may have suspected was going
to happen, but, perhaps, we were hoping wasn't. It's all good, though,
we continue to put one foot in front of the other and continue to move
forward. :) (Read: no choice!).
Venus going through the last degrees of Leo can have us wondering where the fabulous relationship that we've been wanting or waiting for is. Perhaps, as we already know, it's with ourselves :)
Adding to some of the frustrations that might be felt is Jupiter in a quincunx aspect with Uranus - it's like 'get me out of here', and, yet, not being able to find the door, let alone the runway. Jupiter is moving into an opposition with Chiron, and this can signal the ending of some situations, relationships, dreams, etc, especially with Jupiter on Virgo 25: A Flag At Half Mast In Front Of A Public Building and Chiron on Pisces 25: The Purging Of The Priesthood. We can see evidence of this already in the social and political lives of the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, France, Turkey... so many places and situations around the world. = Interesting times!
Neptune is conjuncting the Moon's south node. This can bring up all kinds of issues, karmic or otherwise, from the past. We may feel like we're in a weird movie, and, perhaps we are. Releasing the ties that bind from the past, whether they are emotions , relationships, memories, traumas, dreams, etc. Of course, as mentioned above, Saturn is squaring both Neptune and the Moon's nodes, so, it's probably a good idea to knuckle down, do the work and wait what might seem like a rough patch out.
Having said all of that (and, there's always more to be said), we do have Mars going into Sagittarius, which, for sure, is going to feel better than it's recent three month sojourn in Scorpio. Also, we do have a Leo new Moon here, and, although it does have it's challenges, it surely speaks of having fun, lightening up, letting go, playing, being playful, being creative and all the wonderful things that Leo can bring us.
The new Moon each month marks a time of new beginnings and realisations. It's like a birth after a time of gestation or being 'in the womb'. Here, the light begins to return and we can see new beginnings and possibilities. A new Moon means that the Sun and the Moon are both together - bringing a synergy of their energies together. The new Moon is a perfect time to set your intentions for the future. This period is wonderful for planting seeds of whatever kind. What do you want to manifest in your future? Whether you write it down, sing about it or just hold the thought forms in your mind, doing this at the new Moon can realise some fabulous results around the things that you want to draw into your life.
The new Moon is on Leo 11: CHILDREN ON A SWING IN THE SAFETY OF A HUGE OAK TREE - the following is the full interpretation of this degree from my book The Sabian Oracle: 360 Degrees Of Wisdom -
Commentary: ‘Children on a Swing in the Safety of a Huge Oak Tree’ brings to mind images of ‘Children’ playing, having fun together and being protected by the big branches of the ‘Huge Oak Tree’. ‘Oak Trees’ infer enormous strength. The ‘Oak’s’ strength, the hardness and durability of the timber, and their long life give the Oak a special significance. In England, the Oak has been referred to as the “Monarch of the Forest”. Cowthorpe Oak in Yorkshire can hold 70 people in its hollow. It is said to be over 1,600 years old. The Ellerslie Oak, near Paisley, is reported to have sheltered Sir William Wallace and 300 of his men. Honour Oak, Whitchurch, Tavistock was the place where money was left in exchange for food during the cholera epidemic of 1832.
Oracle: It is easier to enjoy carefree, childlike play when one’s ‘Safety’ and care is assured. Protective environments are the places where playgrounds can be created. In this Symbol it is the very structure of the things around you or even your particular location that provides the ‘Safety’ that’s needed. By the very nature of things, safe surroundings can take care of everyone. Institutions like the Social Security system are similar to the ‘Oak Tree’. Religions and social organizations can also provide this protected environment for people. In general, it is security and protection that needs to be afforded to us for us to follow our true path. Look for the stability and strength in your situation, and expand your wishes and dreams into that protected environment. This Symbol can indicate being relieved from responsibility. This is a good time to relax into playing with others. Feel ‘Safe’ in the knowledge that everything will remain secure. Keep in touch with the innocence and openness of youthful play.
Keywords: Creativity in safe surroundings. Being protected and privileged. Social security and other forms of governmental protection. Agencies that bring food, education and basic needs to children in difficult circumstances. Children, trees, grass, swings, parks. Amusement parks. Childhood memories. Climbing trees. Spontaneous activity. Humanitarian agencies. Security coming through family. Safe confines.
The Caution: Expecting others to take all the responsibility while one just plays. Children not being looked after. Disadvantaged people. Desertion by government and big business. Not wanting to grow up. Always relying on others to provide fun, safety or shelter.
The Karmic Degree for the Moon is Leo 10: EARLY MORNING DEW SALUTES THE SUNLIGHT
This Symbol shows the relief, joy and motivation that can come from going through cold and difficult times, even dark struggles, and waking up to things being “sunnier”, warmer and full of promise. This is a time when the "air" (the newly awakened mind) is crisp and the "ground" (the refreshed and renewed body) readies itself for a new round of activity. The rewards may be transitory, so enjoy the good times and salute the more difficult periods as times of testing and learning. The nights may seem very long but there is always the reward of dawn as the sun rises again on a brand new day.
Keywords: Refreshment after periods of "the long night of the soul". Dawn meditations bringing new starts and new inspiration. Dew. Water dripping from trees. The dawning of a new day and the relief that it can bring. Changing of the guard. Natural progression. Inheritances. Exalted feelings of release. Droplets on spiderwebs.
The Caution: Not letting go of difficult situations. Persisting with problems that could have been solved. Feeling that the worst is going to happen, even though things are lightening up. Being afraid of the night. Staying up all night, being upset or unable to sleep. Gloominess. Staying in bed well into the day. Leaving the light on all night.
The Quest Degree for the new Moon is Leo 12: AN EVENING LAWN PARTY OF ADULTS
This Symbol shows having fun, relaxing and socializing with people, usually in an informal setting, although this can sometimes imply formal ones. Give the rigors of the work routine a rest. Having a drink, eating some food, sharing a chat and gossip, meeting new people, networking and catching up with friends is good for the soul. Relaxation is great, especially where there is no need for pretense. Of course, you may be the host of the party and you may have to provide a venue, food, drinks and entertainment. Still, you should get to enjoy the moment and mix with people.
Keywords: Rising above superficiality into receptivity and peace with others. People mixing in a social setting. Sedate and conservative celebrations. Formal events vs. impromptu gatherings. Gossip. Leisure time. Political correctness. Enjoying socializing. Being a good conversationalist. Drinks and food on platters. Knowing who to invite.

Your imagination or spirituality is showing a clearer path to understanding and knowledge. Equipped to see the invisible, you penetrate into the mystical levels of life. There may be messages to bring back into your waking consciousness. This can show a creative, attuned mind that can perceive subtle phenomena, shifts and changes in the environment. This Symbol shows the integration of people of different races, religions, economic status or places. You may find people from different or seemingly disparate or separate areas coming into your life, making it richer, more rewarding and interesting. Prejudice of any kind, whether religious or race based, economic or class systems, is an illusion based on social perception and excludes people that could add to our lives. Social perceptions can color how we see others and these need to be put aside. Rather, it's about embracing brotherhood and caring. The integration, acceptance and enjoyment of all people brings depth and meaning to life.
Keywords: Universal brotherhood. Overcoming prejudices and boundaries that separate people. Knocking down social barriers to relate freely. Being able to let go, relax and have fun with people from anywhere. Adopted siblings. Foster homes. Affirmative action. Trust and joy. Play that unites people.
The Caution: Acting with morality that is swayed by public opinion. Not being able to adjust psychologically to situations that require creative responses. Racial prejudice.
The Quest Degree for Mercury is Virgo 6: A MERRY-GO-ROUND
This Symbol shows situations that keep returning to the same place without ever seeming to progress, like you’re on a “Merry-Go-Round”. Just when you think you see a way out or off, you find yourself back where you were. However, you are, at least in some way, progressing as each time you return you have had the opportunity of looking around you and realizing and learning more and more about life and other possibilities. You must make a decision: do you want to keep going round and round or are you prepared to take a leap of faith and jump off the “Merry-Go-Round” and start making some real progress?
Keywords: Repeating circles of activity. Looking for a park. Driving around and around. Motion sickness. Childhood fun and joy. Yo-yoing and oscillating backwards and forwards. Emotional polarization. Once you're on it, you want to get off. The ups and downs and the ins and outs. Habits that are hard to break. Carnivals. Lights. Noise. Music.

Venus is on Leo 27: DAYBREAK - THE LUMINESCENCE OF DAWN IN THE EASTERN SKY
This Symbol implies the gradual feeling that darkness is dispersing and that a new day is on the horizon; you may feel there is a chance for new beginnings. Things along the way have been sacrificed and there may be a certain emptiness, but you will see the light of day and move forward again. This Symbol speaks of transition times of letting go of operating in the dark and moving into a new day with new plans and fresh solutions. New ideas, opportunities, perspectives and realizations are emerging. Getting up at dawn and watching the Sun rise can be a wonderful meditation for this degree.

Mars is on Sagittarius 1: RETIRED ARMY VETERANS GATHER TO REAWAKEN OLD MEMORIES
The Symbol shows reunions and gathering together with people who have shared histories, struggles or issues. A reunion can ignite feelings of camaraderie, companionship and triumph, sometimes along with great passions. As these are “Retired Army Veterans”, it's through the passing of time and with the hindsight of age that many things can be faced, healed and laid to rest. In going over the memories of 'old battles' you may find the clues for current ones. However, this degree can show going over and over old hurts, injuries, diseases, etc. The trick also is not to see others as the ‘enemy’, but rather see in everyone the possibility of friendship.
Keywords: Masculine domains. Understanding the individual's needs and idealistic struggles. Moratoriums and calls for peace. Past life memories of fellowship. Prisoners of war. Memorials to war. Bringing up painful memories in the hope of sharing understanding and healing. Tears of the past. Being confronted by memories. School, and other, reunions. Talking over strategies. Finding comrades. The Karmic Degree for Mars is Scorpio 30: CHILDREN IN HALLOWEEN COSTUMES INDULGING IN VARIOUS PRANKS
This Symbol implies that society needs to have an outlet for disruptive energies, and to have periodic displays of fun, even indulging in somewhat disruptive pranks. You may feel that the trickster in you needs to be let out every now and then, or you may be the focus of tricks by others. Whichever, it should be acknowledged that there needs to be an occasional outlet for immature or fun loving energies, as long as there's no harm done. This Symbol can refer to somebody who doesn’t take anything too seriously. The time of Halloween is the time when the veil between the living and the dead becomes very thin.

Halloween. Trick or treat. Practical jokes played on the unwary. Roaming the streets. Dressing up. Ghouls and ghosts.
The Caution: Not connecting with real emotions. Contempt for the establishment. Kill joys. 'Mucking around'. Being foolish. Not respecting other people’s boundaries. Being silly.
The Quest Degree for Mars is Sagittarius 2: THE OCEAN COVERED WITH WHITECAPS
This Symbol implies getting whipped up about things, often out of proportion to what’s really going on OR staying calm and centered when events or people are getting out of control and making a big deal out of situations. You may find that surface emotions get whipped up and this can led to concerns that are disproportionate to the depth of the situation. Emotions, intelligence and situations probably have a far deeper sense of strength and permanence than it may seem. Get below the surface where things are calmer and more stable. However, don’t withdraw completely as you could find it hard to surface and show your true feelings.
Keywords: Mobilization of energy and emotions. Safety in more secure emotions. Blustery days. Churning thoughts. Being flighty and changeable. Overblown reactions. Energy that needs an outlet for expression. The need for stillness and meditation.
The Caution: Getting fussed and irritable over nothing or at least very little. Nervousness. Overblown reactions. Responding too readily. Gathering gloom. Fussed and irritable.

Jupiter is on Virgo 23: A LION-TAMER RUSHES FEARLESSLY INTO THE CIRCUS ARENA
This Symbol implies having the talent, skills, training and discipline to be able to tame wild energies like those of a “Lion”. It is not that you need to extinguish powerful emotions and energies, but by skillfully manipulating what’s going on, these very wild emotions and energies will perform in a way that makes you the victor. Self-discipline and mastery are needed, along with being well rehearsed for what you are doing. There's a need to put fear behind you and to go for it – perhaps rushing in where angels fear to tread. The question is: How trained are you and prepared for the consequences?
Keywords: Having faith and courage in your abilities. Sublimating animal instincts. Control. Fearlessness. Professionalism. Extremism. Adrenaline rushes. Dangerous spectacles. Training and conditioned responses. Restrained passion. Coordination and skill. Superheroes. Holding the whip.
The Caution: Needing to be in control and believing that things are dependent on your direction. Showing off and boasting. Plunging into situations, physically or emotionally, that are inherently dangerous without regard for the consequences.
The Karmic Degree for Jupiter is Virgo 22: A ROYAL COAT OF ARMS ENRICHED WITH PRECIOUS STONES

Even if there’s no actual nobility in your bloodline, there can be a sense of nobility about your character and bearing. There are things to stand up for and represent, regardless of where you come from and who your ancestors and your family are. The Quest Degree for Jupiter is Virgo 24: MARY AND HER WHITE LAMB
This Symbol can show purity of motive and pure and wonderful relationships and friendships. However, it can also point to dependence or codependence where people can't stand to be separate. Hence, relationships may need to be assessed to see how healthy they actually are. The need for constant reassurance that everything is OK can be wearing and put a strain on those involved. Keeping a sense of innocence and purity will lift you up and out of any problems. Be loving and be there for others, but don't let things get out of hand as you could find yourself sewn at the hip with another and not able to get any free time for yourself.
Keywords: Simple childlike innocence or pure escapism. Naivety. The Mary and Jesus story. Dependence. Kindness. Friendship. Bonds between pets and owners. Believing in the essential goodness of others. Hanging out with people. Looking out for someone. Cuteness. The urge to prove something. Dislike of dirt or grime. Saturn is retrograde on Sagittarius 10: A THEATRICAL REPRESENTATION OF A GOLDEN HAIRED GODDESS OF OPPORTUNITY
Rewards, awards, acclaim, a sense of presence, charisma and beauty are all the promise of this degree. There will be offers that look too good to refuse, and they could be full of promise, but they should still be looked at carefully. It can be something of a reward for you, in which case it can lead to bigger and better things. You, or someone close to you, could be seen as someone who could totally succeed – a natural talent. It may seem to be the answer to your dreams - and indeed may well turn out to be a grand adventure with a big reward. However, be aware of idle chatter, with no basis in reality.
Keywords: Distinguishing reality from theater. Feeling that the "world is your stage". Playing out a story. Seeing others as a gateway to riches or fulfillment. Being "the talent". Being an "overnight success". Glamour and the allure of the media. The Academy Awards. Autographs of the noted. Seeing opportunity ahead of its time. Auditions. Promotions.

Saturn symbolizes: Authority, rules, discipline and obligation The heavy stuff. What we fear, loss, karma, aging, the establishment, orthodoxy, tradition, status, the concept of time, walls, boundaries, limits, older people, restrictions, patience, conquering difficulties.
Uranus is on Aries 25: A DOUBLE PROMISE REVEALS ITS INNER AND OUTER MEANINGS
This Symbol shows that what at first appears to be may reveal itself to actually be something else. Simple promises can be more complicated than first thought. The rational and emotional responses can conflict with each other; one wants something, the other wants something else. However, this can be the way to really view things, from an inner and outer perspective. Also indicates the choice that arises - of the heart and of social obligation. Realize the implications of expectations and promises.
Keywords: Rewards, but what do they bring with them? The possible implications of or reasons for any promises. Something that may look good on the outside, but prove to be difficult. Looking for consensus. Possibilities and promises. The ins and outs of situations. Not turning up. The need to look at situations from all sides. Internal vs. external realities. Catch-22 situations. Neptune is retrograde on Pisces 12: AN EXAMINATION OF INITIATES IN THE SANCTUARY OF AN OCCULT BROTHERHOOD
This Symbol shows passing the tests that life, other people, spirituality or karma throws at you. You are likely to find at times that you are being judged by those above or around you. It is difficult to see what their qualifications to judge you are, but this is often the nature of progression through the ranks. People being critical of one another can lead to better behavior, better performances or the like, or it can lead to feeling judged, violated and intruded upon. It can seem as though our lives are like lessons; we are periodically “Examined” to see how we are doing on our course. Be careful not to shut yourself away to avoid being seen or having to endure criticism.
Keywords: The ordeal that comes to any initiate for entrance into higher realms of being. Hermits. Tests, examinations, having to prove oneself. Being judged or being judgmental. The Karmic Degree for Neptune is Pisces 11: PEOPLE TRAVELING A NARROW PATH, SEEKING ILLUMINATION
This shows having a quest, “Seeking Illumination”, having a “Path” and staying on it regardless of what life throws at you. Sometimes the search for high ideals and understanding places us at odds with the more conservative social expectations of others. It is the ability to persevere with the search, regardless of the cost, that marks the sincerity of any path or journey. You may, at times, have to go without some comforts or stick to a rigorous agenda. Most times this quest is very illuminating, sometimes it's confusing. You will need to reject that which is unworthy, while staying true to your objectives in order to stay focused on the goal.
Keywords: People "on the Path". Sticking to one mindset, diet, regimen or habit. Having a cause to follow. Not looking sideways. Awakening one's base senses in order to progress. Physical ecstasy. The Quest Degree for Neptune is Pisces 13: A SWORD, USED IN MANY BATTLES, IS NOW IN A MUSEUM
This shows knowing when to stop battling in life, when to lay down one’s “Sword” and take up a higher position that reflects a more intelligent or spiritual way of being in the world. Sometimes, when reminded of the battles of the past, we are influenced towards actions that ensure peace. We are uplifted by the symbolic memory of past deeds of valor, although stings of defeat may be part of the story. You may be faced with the choice of fighting or reasoning which is confused by your lack of training or experience in the ways of “Battle”. Don’t go down with the ship. It helps to lay down one's 'sword' - not in order to surrender, but to stop the 'warring'
Keywords: Willpower. Martial arts. Putting aside thoughts of vengeance and revenge. Hanging up or laying down one's 'Sword'. Trophies of conquest that remind us of the past. History. This degree shows being vibrant and alive and in the physical body with enthusiasm and excitement about life and the future. The “Gymnasium Suits” shows the need to get active and to stay active, to have time in your life to drop into the physical body and enjoy it. If you've been neglecting your physical well-being, it is good to reestablish that affinity with your vitality. Spontaneous enthusiasm and the joy of being 'alive' can regenerate and revive and bring about carefree contact with like minded people. The trick is to bring some form of physical discipline into your life while enjoying it and not feeling forced to do what you don’t want to do.

Chiron is on Pisces 25: THE PURGING OF THE PRIESTHOOD
This shows seeing through those who hold important positions yet abuse trust or those who make great claims but don’t live up to them. At this time, you’re likely to find yourself leaving others behind, kicking them out, or experiencing falls from grace. Periodically, there is a need to examine moral and spiritual sincerity. It is easy to allow those who don't really belong to stay because of familiarity or habit. We can lose sight of the ideal through our rationalizing intellect, ego and emotive passion. There is a need to cleanse and purify your life, leading to better spiritual values. What side of the “Purging” are you on? Are you the one with the ‘right motives’? Who’s in charge?
Keywords: Revealing the truth of people for who and what they truly are. Cutting people off. Throwing out things that don't measure up. Forced retirement and redundancies. The Karmic Degree for Chiron is Pisces 24: THE TINY ISLAND SEEMS LOST IN THE BROAD OCEAN, BUT ITS HAPPY INHABITANTS HAVE CREATED A GREAT WORLD ALL THEIR OWN
This shows living with others, sharing the same space or efforts to create a happy life. The people pictured all live together and have “Created a Great World All Their Own”. No matter how well people get along, people still have to compromise and give and take in order to sustain good community relations. Drawn together by similar hopes and ambitions it is ironic that sometimes compromise is the only way to successful coexistence. Making the most of what is available, even though it is restrictive, will help dispel any feelings of being cutoff and isolated. Who are you comfortable sharing your space with? Who would you have sharing your desert island?
Keywords: Adaptability and cohabitation. People jammed in. Seeking others of like mind. Knowing a lot of people. Always considering others. Noise and light pollution. Feeling like new blood is needed in order to grow and flourish. Coexistence. Apartments. Living together. People moving in.

They need to “Go Ahead With Their Different Projects” – their focus has changed and, quite possibly, they’ve parted ways. There's a picture here of new beginnings. People will have their own response to situations - not everyone will react in the same way. It can be a good idea to direct some energy into your desires or projects at the time of the new moon. Light a candle and state your intentions with honesty and love.
Keywords: Diversifying. Applying talents in a different direction. People splitting up and splitting off. New opportunities and potentials. The beginning of a new age. Letting go of the old and outworn. Separations. Embracing one's future without the need for others. Coming to a fork in the road. Divorces. New jobs, directions and destinies. The dawning of a new era.

The Moon's North Node is on Virgo 13: A POWERFUL STATESMAN OVERCOMES A STATE OF POLITICAL HYSTERIA
This Symbol shows the ability, or the necessity, to be able to calm situations, to solve a crisis, to have a steady hand that shows others that someone is in charge. If this is not operating on a positive level in your life you may want to assess where you need to be doing it. Sometimes our thoughts get out of control, even “Hysterical”, however this is not much use as emotions and events just get whipped up, leading to useless energy flying around. It is through control and the power of your personality that you can resolve situations and bring back a state of equilibrium to all involved.
Keywords: The power to sway the mob. Having the charisma and talent to turn situations around. Elements of personality that get out of control and take over. Pulling the rope tight. Mind control. You’re likely to be faced with the moment of moving into a new life and a new sense of identity. Perhaps there’s the feeling that you, or somebody, is not quite ready to give themselves completely to a relationship or situation, but they do not really have much choice. If one doesn't go willingly, they'll probably be pushed forward - finally taking the plunge. There can be an unveiling of one's true identity which can lead to some surprising realizations.

The Quest Degree for true Node is Virgo 14: FINELY LETTERED NAMES AND MYSTERIOUS LINES ARE SEEN; IT IS A FAMILY TREE
This shows deep and abiding connections that come from families and their ancestors and individual family trees. There is a need to feel somehow linked with ancestry, a place or belonging. However, this can speak about you belonging to the larger human family – we are all related. Being able to call upon the deeper inherent knowledge within yourself and what's been learnt from past experience, possibly from one's ancestral roots, will help you find great strength. This implies a strong family heritage, but it may come from having a deep connection with people or things that you are not actually related to, but are in your “Family” nonetheless.
Keywords: Strength in tradition. Belonging to a lineage. The story of where one comes from. Issues of pride of heritage. The importance of parents and family. Branches in databases. The Moon's South Node is on Pisces 13: A SWORD, USED IN MANY BATTLES, IS NOW IN A MUSEUM
History. The Karmic Degree for the Moon's South Node is Pisces 12: AN EXAMINATION OF INITIATES IN THE SANCTUARY OF AN OCCULT BROTHERHOOD
Being cross-examined. Rarefied atmospheres that demand personal sacrifice. Initiations. Proving courage and purity. Trials. The attainment of knowledge. Apprenticeships. Being a candidate. The Quest Degree for the Moon's South Node is Pisces 14: A LADY WRAPPED IN FOX FUR
This shows being able to present an image that shows intelligence, cleverness, glamour and beauty, along with knowing how to move in social circles. The “Lady Wrapped in Fox Fur” is someone who’s sure of themselves, able to bend to situations and have situations bend to their own desires. It often shows getting out of, or into, anything they want. You can present an image that enhances your position in society. Intelligence and wit will probably see you through, with others noticing your beauty, grace or intellect. If, however, the guise was stripped away, would you still express the same qualities? You may have to display your capabilities because of negative prejudice, chauvinism, or being underestimated.

The Moon's South Node symbolizes: Past karmic patterns to be overcome, can be habits that are good, but can describe things, relationships, issues that you need to let go of, or, hold you back from manifesting your true destiny. Relationships that feel karmic and difficult, memories from the past.

Gossip. Your imagination or spirituality is showing a clearer path to understanding and knowledge. Equipped to see the invisible, you penetrate into the mystical levels of life.

You may feel that the trickster in you needs to be let out every now and then, or you may be the focus of tricks by others. Whichever, it should be acknowledged that there needs to be an occasional outlet for immature or fun loving energies, as long as there's no harm done.

Hence, relationships may need to be assessed to see how healthy they actually are. The need for constant reassurance that everything is OK can be wearing and put a strain on those involved. Keeping a sense of innocence and purity will lift you up and out of any problems. Be loving and be there for others, but don't let things get out of hand as you could find yourself sewn at the hip with another and not able to get any free time for yourself.
