Today we are seeing things a different way. This is a good thing!

The Sun is discharging 21 Gemini’s energetic of “a tumultuous labor demonstration.” This cycle has been all about tumultuous demonstrations, hasn’t it? This is also the degree where Mercury and Venus (retrograde) were located at the New Moon, so we have a double influence of this today.

The twist is that people will be seeing things in a new way. The Earth is discharging the energetic of “a child and a dog wearing borrowed eyeglasses.” So, all of the things we are re-evaluating and reassessing while Venus is retrograde will take on a new perspective. We see things we didn’t see before. Illusions are coming down with the Sun squaring Neptune (which rules illusions).

What we see may be a hard pill to swallow and may induce anger (at first) since the Sun is also moving off of square with Mars. The Sun moving off the square with Mars is going to help the world a lot. Tempers will be less volatile. Depressive states of mind will abate somewhat.

Mars will make exact conjunction with Neptune on Friday and Saturday, so this theme of losing our illusions will continue the rest of the week. The Moon will join the party Friday evening, bringing the height of this.

As I have talked about many times, Venus retrograde is one of the most powerful retrogrades of the planets. It does its job very well. During Venus retrograde, issues with love, relationships, money, and values are re-assessed. By the time Venus stations direct, we have had a chance to see important aspects about what is truly important to us.
