Re: the seeming rise of darkness on the planet

The following was a comment I made on Cobra's blog in response to someone declaring how and why the dark is and will take over the earth. ~PB

Re: the seeming rise of darkness on the planet

Actually, we are just witnessing such anomalies having their "last gasp" and last grasp for power, desperate and dying acts because they are in their death throes.

Things are not always as they appear. Darkness cannot be suppressed. It must be released in order to be healed or transmuted. The challenge is to hold fast in faith as negativity and darkness surface for release. Do not attach. Do not succumb to fear, for this disempowers you, and empowers that which no longer has a rightful place on earth. This too, shall pass.

It is especially important at this time that we see the bigger picture, don't believe the hype, tune out the negative and go within to know (discern) and to co-create. Of course, we also must take action in the outer world, but this requires having faith in the seeds of love that have been planted, for we are just entering the growing season. Our loving and abundant future is nearly upon us. Do NOT despair! Keep the faith and go within in order to know truth.

Love is the only reality. All else is illusion. Believe!

John Smallman: Relax, allow Life to flow – you cannot stop It or change Its direction – and enjoy what arises.

Saul Audio Blog for Thursday May 4th

Love is not giving up on people!  There is only Love, as you all well know even if you choose not to acknowledge It, so to give up on It is to pretend that you are not alive, is to close your eyes and go to sleep thus refusing to acknowledge Reality.  That is what humanity has been doing for eons by loading itself with extremely negative self-judgments while it has been playing its games within the illusion that it constructed to experience separation.  The experience of separation was only meant to be momentary, and in truth it was, that unreal state was terminated but an instant after it was imagined into being.  But humanity, you, were captivated and fascinated by it, by being free to play with it and cause mayhem and confusion which were totally at odds with Reality, totally different from anything you had ever encountered, strange, exciting, and challenging.

But then you got lost in the dream you had made and were unable to find your way Home.  It was a little like entering a Halloween stage or movie set and finding yourselves in almost complete darkness, enveloped in clinging cobwebs as strange flying things brushed across your faces and pulled at your hair.  At first it was fun, but Creepy!  And then it appeared to become increasingly real, and you became terrified, you panicked and started attacking everything within reach.

And it is from that dismal and unhappy dream that you are in the process of waking up.  As you do so remnants of the dream, or more realistically the nightmare, flow through your consciousness as weird and unsettling sounds and images.  Do not dwell on them, they are merely unwanted egoic distractions, distractions from your awakening process, so just let them go.  You could think of them as your core issues – issues of pain and suffering from the past buried deeply within your psyche, unacknowledged or denied because they are so painful – that are breaking into your awareness so that you can release them and yourselves from the negative energies on which they feed.

Everyone is dealing with this ancient and buried stuff as part of the awakening process.  Holding onto the angers, bitterness, hatreds, and the resentments that they represent keeps you in the nightmare attempting to resolve them.  There is no need to resolve them, in fact they cannot be resolved, so just acknowledge them, forgive those you believe caused them, and yourselves, and let them go.  They will only stay with you if you continue to dwell on them – hold onto them while thinking about them and apportioning blame amongst those you believe responsible for your pain – after they have arisen to be released or dissipated.

Letting them go will bring you an enormous sense of relief, rather like when a police car, all lights and sirens blaring, appears behind you on the highway . . . and then passes rapidly by on its way to catch some other miscreant.  And that sense of relief will last because you will no longer be shouldering the burden, the weight of that ancient baggage.  Baggage you never needed but with which you chose to burden yourselves.
You are all the beloved children of God, and you are all in the process of awakening from the nightmare of separation and unreality which presents itself to each of you quite differently and independently because it is attempting to prove to each one of you that you are separate and alone.

If what you are experiencing is different from what everyone else is experiencing, and that certainly seems to be the case – obviously your experience is much more intense and painful than anyone else’s – then there remains no doubt in your mind that you are a separate being.  And separate beings have to stand up and take care of themselves – look after # 1 – because no one else will or can, even your most dearly loved partners.  You are alone, and death proves that without a shadow of a doubt, because in the end everyone dies, there is no return from it.  And no one has returned to report about it.  It’s not a wonder that, collectively, you have chosen to awaken.

The good news is that you have unlimited resources to assist you in your awakening process – help on a grand scale – because as well as all of us in the spiritual realms who are watching over you in every moment, and answering your calls for help and guidance, everyone whom you meet and interact with in any way at all in your daily lives is on your path in that moment, and can and will help you if you are open to the Love that surrounds you all constantly.  In human terms it may not seem like help in the moment that it occurs, but when you reflect honestly afterwards you can see there was a lesson to be learnt to move you further along your Homeward path.
In every moment you are being helped if you choose to be open to it.  But frequently you entertain preconceived notions of how help should appear and fail to see the help that is there, because you are attempting to control life instead of accepting what arises.  Life always flows at Its own pace, you just need to accept that instead of trying to change it.  “Going with the flow” is a very wise and enlightened approach for humans to take, and when they do, and accept whatever arises, they find the flow is far less turbulent than when they try to direct it, because then there is less conflict and it is conflict that causes turbulence.
God is with you everywhere, in every moment, and He, the Source, Mother/Father/God, wants only for you be in joy.  When you surrender your will to His – in truth your will is aligned with His because you are One with Him – and accept what arises you will deal far more easily and effectively with whatever issues and problems do arise in your daily human lives.  You are always where you are meant to be because you designed a path to follow, with divine assistance, before you incarnated as a human.  To be apparently off your path or diverging from it are just the results of trying to direct life in the direction that you egoically think it is meant to be moving.
When you stop attempting to direct and control the flow of life and instead just allow it, you will find it far easier to deal with whatever arises for you because you will have far more energy, energy that previously you would have been using to change the unchangeable, and in the process exhausting yourselves both physically and emotionally.  Attempting to control the flow of life, even if you think it is “your,” life can never work because you remain almost completely unaware of the multitude of influences at work on it.  There is only One Life!  And that is God, Source, Mother/Father/God, of which every single conscious entity is an inseparable and essential part.
Relax, allow Life to flow – you cannot stop It or change Its direction – and enjoy what arises.  You can choose to enjoy It or you can choose to find fault with it; it is always your choice, and you have all experienced the vast difference in personal feelings and emotional responses that occur when choosing between finding fault with what arises or accepting and enjoying the moment that arises.
You cannot control the life flow, but you can control your choices and responses to it!  And those choices directly affect how you feel in the moment.  You are all very powerful beings, divine children, so use your power to bring you peace and joy.  When you do you directly affect everyone with whom you interact in that moment.  You have all also been aware at times of how your moods affect others in your vicinity.  So choose joy and watch it engage very positively with those around you!
With so very much love, Saul.

10 Things to Remind Yourself Daily | Purpose Fairy

10 Things to Remind Yourself Daily | Purpose Fairy

1. Change Is The Only Constant In Life
What does this mean? It means that no matter how much we try to avoid change, it will be impossible to do so, since change is the only constant in life.

“The only way that we can live, is if we grow. The only way that we can grow is if we change. The only way that we can change is if we learn. The only way we can learn is if we are exposed. And the only way that we can become exposed is if we throw ourselves out into the open. Do it. Throw yourself.” ~ C. JoyBell C.

2. Nothing Lasts Forever
Nothing ever lasts forever, and this is exactly why we need to learn to detach from things, places and people in our lives and, when the time comes to say goodbye, to let them all go and to do it with dignity.

“Nothing lasts forever, so live it up, drink it down, avoid the b.s, take chances and never regret because at one point it was what you wanted.” ~ Unknown

3. You Judge Others for the Things You Haven’t Accepted in Yourself
The traits we dislike in others are the traits we dislike in ourselves. This is something most of us can’t even grasp and we get irritated when we hear such things, especially when we are all thinking so highly of ourselves and we know for sure that we are perfect and they are not.

“Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to a better understanding of ourselves.” ~ Carl Jung

4. You Can’t Force Love
Love comes because it wants to come, not because we want it to come. Our family, friends, co-workers, lovers — they all love us because they choose to, not because we want them to, and the same applies to you. Love is meant to be felt, enjoyed and lived, not to be forced on anyone.

“You can’t force love, I realized. It’s there or it isn’t. If it’s not there, you’ve got to be able to admit it. If it is there, you’ve got to do whatever it takes to protect the ones you love.” ~ Richelle Mead

5. Mistakes are Part of Life
As you walk through life, you will fall down many times. You will fail and you make mistakes, but that’s okay. Life is like that. Never forget that life is a process of becoming and that through every every painful and humiliating experience and through every hurtful and heartbreaking interaction, you craft yourself and you build your life. Through everything that happens to you, either good or bad, you gain all the wisdom, strength, knowledge and confidence to do the things that you are meant to do. And to live the life that you are meant to live. That’s what life is all about.

“What do you first do when you learn to swim? You make mistakes, do you not? And what happens? You make other mistakes, and when you have made all the mistakes you possibly can without drowning – and some of them many times over – what do you find? That you can swim? Well – life is just the same as learning to swim! Do not be afraid of making mistakes, for there is no other way of learning how to live!” ~ Alfred Adler

6. What You Resist, Persists
The more we fight against certain things, life circumstances, events, people, ideas, etc., the more we will be contributing to their growth and persistence into our daily lives. Learn to shift your focus from that which you are against to that which you are for, and to that which you wish to attract into your daily life and watch how your life will be transformed.

“What you resist not only persists, but will grow in size.” ~ Carl Gustav Jung

7. Your Thoughts Create your Reality
Thoughts have power, great power – creative power. With every thought that you think you craft and shape your life in one way or another. The life you are now living is the result of all the thoughts you have thought up until this moment. Your present level of self esteem, your confidence and your sense of self worth were determined by all the thoughts you have ever thought and all the words you have ever said to yourself. The quality of your present relationships, the way you look at the world, your beliefs and limitations, your fears and insecurities, they are all the result of the many thoughts you kept affirming to yourself.

We are where we are right now because of the thoughts we thought, and our lives look the way they do because of the thoughts we thought over and over again. If the thoughts that run though our minds are pure, positive and empowering, we will create positive and empowering beliefs about ourselves and about life, and our actions will be a reflection of these thoughts and beliefs.

“Watch your thoughts, for they become words. Watch your words, for they become actions. Watch your actions, for they become habits. Watch your habits, for they become character. Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.” ~ Unknown

8. There Comes A Time In Your Life When You Really Need To Let Go
“There comes a time in your life when you have to let go of all the pointless drama and the people who create it and surround yourself with people who make you laugh so hard that you forget the bad and focus solely on the good. After all, life is too short to be anything but happy.” ~ Karl Marx (composer)

There comes a time in our lives when we are asked to let go of certain things, ideas, people and places. And when that happens, we need to learn to let go with grace. We need to trust our natural instincts and we need to trust in the natural flow of life. Because just like Buddha said it, “You can only lose what you cling to.”

9. You’ll Only Regret the Things you Don’t Do
Whenever you want to do something but you are too afraid to do it because of what might happen after that, I want you to remember about this study that was performed on elderly individuals a few years back, that has shown how during old age, most of these people have regrets about the many things they didn’t have the courage to do as opposed to the things they did do.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” — Mark Twain

10. You Can’t Control Other People’s Behaviors, You Only Think You Can
It’s funny how the closer we are to a person the more rights we think we have to control them and their lives without realizing the only thing we can control is our attitude towards them and their behavior, that’s all.

“Never underestimate your power to change yourself; never overestimate your power to change others.” ~ Wayne W. Dyer

DAILY OM ~ November 6, 2014 The Secret of Surrender: Seeing the Illusion

"Surrender should be seen as a great strength
and comes when we let go of trying to attain the impossible."

DAILY OM ~ November 6, 2014
The Secret of Surrender: Seeing the Illusion

by Madisyn Taylor

"Most of us were raised and live in a culture that emphasizes the ideals of independence and control. The general idea is that we are on our own and we don’t need any help from anyone else, and if we are really successful it’s because we are in complete control. However, true lasting success comes only with surrender, which is the opposite of control. We cannot accomplish anything truly great on our own, without any help, and the idea that we can is an illusion that causes most of us a great deal of suffering. Surrender comes when we see that illusion and let go of trying to attain the impossible. Surrender can then be seen as a great strength rather than a weakness.

Even small moments of surrender are powerful indicators of how different our lives could be if we would only let go. We’ve all had the experience of extending huge amounts of effort and energy to reach a particular goal only to realize that we can’t make it happen after all. At the moment of letting go, realizing that we need to ask for help or simply release our agenda entirely, a profound feeling of relief may rush over us. This warm, open sensation is the essence of surrender, and if we didn’t feel that we didn’t really let go. But it is never too late to let go, even of things in the past that didn’t work out the way we wanted them to, because surrender is always an option in every moment of our lives.

When we finally do surrender, our goals actually become possible, because the act of surrender is, in essence, asking for the help we need. This help may come in the form of other human beings or unseen helpers such as angels or inner guides. It may also come in the form of shifting circumstances, the small miracles that we call grace."

DAILY OM ~ May 19, 2014 Moving through Darkness: The Places We Go

DAILY OM ~ May 19, 2014
Moving through Darkness: The Places We Go

by Madisyn Taylor

Often it takes something major to wake us up as we struggle to maintain an illusion of control.

In life, most of us want things to go to the places we have envisioned ourselves going. We have plans and visions, some of them divinely inspired, that we want to see through to completion. We want to be happy, successful, and healthy, all of which are perfectly natural and perfectly human. So when life takes us to places we didn’t consciously want to go, we often feel as if something has gone wrong, or we must have made a mistake somewhere along the line, or any number of other disheartening possibilities. This is just life’s way of taking us to a place we need to go for reasons that go deeper than our own ability to reason. These hard knocks and trials are designed to shed light on our unconscious workings and deepen our experience of reality.

Often it takes something major to wake us up, to shake us loose from our ego’s grip as it struggles to maintain an illusion of control. It is loss of control more than anything else that humbles us and enables us to see the big picture. It reminds us that the key to the universe lies in what we do not know, and what we do know is a small fraction of the great mystery in which we live. This awareness softens and lightens us, as we release our resistance to what is. Another gift gleaned from going to these seemingly undesirable places is that, in our response to difficulty, we can see all the patterns and unresolved emotional baggage that stand in the way of our unconditional joyfulness. Joy exists within us independently of whether things go our way or not. And when we don’t feel it, we can trust that we will find it if we are willing to surrender to the situation, moving through it as we move through our difficult feelings.

We can take our inspiration from any fairy tale that finds its central character lost in a dark wood, frightened and alone. We know that the journey through the wood provides its own kind of beauty and richness. On the other side, we will emerge transformed, lighter and brighter, braver and more confident for having moved through that darkness.

Dana Mrkich - Evolution Revolution Tuesday, April 22, 2014 Party time is over

In this day and age of ‘you create your reality’ mindset, this idea is often talked about as if ‘You’ is a singular entity, able to be controlled and lassoed with a few strong thoughts and positive affirmations. The reality is that this ‘You’ is made up of countless aspects, conscious and subconscious, holding a myriad of beliefs, emotions, desires and fears, existing on multiple dimensions. This kaleidoscope that is ‘You’ can be likened to a team of wild horses, ideally all going in one direction but more often than not they are going in multiple directions, or trying to. In the centre of all that, we have our Soul, the beautiful horse with the very clear vision of where he or she wants to go this lifetime – sometimes the Soul helps to pull the horses in line, and other times the horses push and pull the Soul or ignore her/him completely. At the helm we have our Greater Self, able to see what lies ahead if we keep going in the direction we are going.

From time to time at crucial points of our evolution the Soul has bucked and demanded the horses’ attention or our Greater Self would rein the horses in if they were veering too far off course. Yet for the most part, until recently, we had a kind of Free Will where these horses could do what they wanted to do. It was all part of our greater learning experience.

Party time is over for this particular version of our Free Will team of horses. Our Soul is taking the lead, and our Greater Self is shouting directions like it’s the final sprint section of a long marathon race.

Our Free Will Team of Horses (including our Ego, various dreams we’ve held, our wounds, etc) are being tossed to and fro with every influx of higher vibrational energy/solar flares/eclipses/cardinal crosses/whatever possible cosmic ammunition the universe has available. The image I get is that scene from Forrest Gump where Lieutenant Dan is sitting atop the shrimp boat in a raging storm, rain bucketing down, thunder, lightning, stormy seas, and he shouts out: “C’mon, you call this a storm?....It’s time for a showdown! You and me!.” Right to the end, we try to hold on to the illusion that we are in control, without fully realizing the greater enormity of who it is that we really are.

The next morning, the sea is calm.  Lieutenant Dan is sitting on the edge of the boat looking transformed, the anger has left. He says to Forrest “You know, I never thanked you for saving my life.” And he falls over the edge for a swim. Forrest’s observation is:  “I think he made his peace with God.”

When our Soul takes the lead and our Greater Self descends into us, calling us to embody who we really are, as we are being called to do right now, it can feel like a storm. It can feel like we are being pushed and pulled by some Divine Force. This Divine Force is YOU, the authentic you, the greater you, the soul of you, calling you back into alignment with you.

We can fight our Self and our Soul all we like, but we’ll end up pretty bruised. Their terrain is no picnic either some of the time, but just like Lieutenant Dan’s night with the storm, the new day comes and in our newly surrendered, humbled state we can see that our Soul and Self has been working for us not against us, the whole time.  There we can find our peace.
