THE ORACLE REPORT: Wednesday, October 11, 2017

"THE magic carpet of oriental imagery" 19 aries - by wise owl Christine vincent
"THE magic carpet of oriental imagery" 19 aries
- by wise owl Christine vincent

THE ORACLE REPORT: Wednesday, October 11, 2017

Disseminating Moon Phase:  communicate, share

Moon in Cancer

Sun: 19 Libra - "a gang of robbers in hiding"
  • True Alignments:  allowing time for things to resolve/come to light/come into balance, emotionally processing a loss, giving to others, forgiveness/pardons
  • Catalysts for Change:  taking unfair advantage, trust issues, trying to get away with something, things that have been brewing under the surface or in the background bubbling up or boiling over, sudden eruptions, no honor among thieves, the fast buck

Earth: 19 Aries - "the magic carpet ride of Oriental imagery"
  • True Alignments:  streams of consciousness, visions of the future, rising above, fantastical, connecting inner power with a Higher Power, transcending worries, linking/team efforts, the east, space, the mystic
  • Catalysts for Change:  tumultuous, dissociation, trauma response, unawake/unaware, manic episodes, luring/lured away

The "True Alignments" and "Catalysts for Change" listed above offer a thorough inventory of today's energies, but we do have some other things happening:

Mercury is making opposition with the Eris Point.  Caution with words is advised.  We are much more easily stirred to anger when the Eris Point is activated.  This usually involves a sense of injustice or wrongdoing or hurt.  Silence is broken and rectification begins to occur.  The "Apples of Discord" that Eris energy lobs eventually turns out to produce meaningful change, so it's best to not be quick to judge today.

Late tonight and throughout tomorrow, the Moon will begin aspecting Pluto, the Sun, Mercury, and Uranus.  Tomorrow has a lot going on, so check back then for the breakdown of times and aspects.

A couple of other notes:

1 - On Friday, October 13 (see yesterday's report for more information on Friday, October 13), the Sun will oppose the Eris Point.  The Eris Point is the degree in the sky where the planet Eris was located when it was discovered (21 Aries).  It does not refer to one's natal Eris (degree where Eris was located when one was born).  This is a common assumption.  The Eris Point is specifically the degree 21 Aries.  Data collection over several years shows that the Illuminati favor activity when planets (especially the Sun) aspect 21 Aries (though the power to succeed using this energetic for nefarious purposes has progressively waned since 2015).  We should not be surprised by any type of October 13th Surprise.  Having the Sun at 21 Libra (180 degrees opposition from the Eris Point at 21 Aries) on a FRIDAY is irresistible to the Illuminati minions of the archons who are trying to stem the tide of their fall.

2 - Yesterday Jupiter entered Scorpio, where it will transit until November 2018.  For reference purposes, the last time Jupiter transited Scorpio was October 26, 2005 through November 23, 2006.  What was happening for you at that time?  Are there any correlations to now?

3 - Yesterday Venus made opposition with Chiron.  Mars will make opposition with Chiron at the same degree on October 15.  Anything that developed yesterday related to wounding, healing, or teaching with relationships or money is likely to repeat in some way then.

4 - Today the Earth is discharging the degree of last solar-lunar year, "the magic carpet of Oriental imagery."  If anything, that year taught us how to rise above frenzies and go with the flow.  We may need to practice that skill today as we attend to wisdom.

NorthPoint Journal: Your guide to planetary energies for October 9 to 15, 2017 By Pam Younghans

Your guide to planetary energies for
October 9 to 15, 2017
By Pam Younghans

Highlighted Aspects this Week
MON: Mercury square Pluto, Sun square Pluto
TUE: Jupiter enters Scorpio, Venus opposite Chiron
WED: Mars square Saturn, Venus quincunx Uranus
THU: Mercury sextile Saturn
FRI: Mercury opposite Eris
SAT: Venus enters Libra, Mercury quincunx Chiron
SUN: Mercury opposite Uranus, Mercury sesquiquadrate Neptune, Mars opposite Chiron

TRUTH IS QUESTIONED and secrets are revealed this week, with the help of several planetary events. We start off on Monday with the Sun and Mercury in hard aspect (square) to Pluto. These aspects indicate challenges or obstacles that must be overcome -- and with the Sun and Mercury in Libra, one of those obstacles may be our own avoidance of conflict.

We may not usually see that preference as a liability, but if our aversion has kept us from clearly stating our truth or being honest about our motivations, it can interfere with our ability to achieve our goals and fulfill our higher mission (Pluto in Capricorn).

In general, these square aspects can manifest as power struggles or arguments, if we become suspicious of another's intentions. Since we cannot control others, our only recourse is to make sure our own motives are coming from a clean and clear internal place, and to stay true to our highest integrity.

ISSUES OF CONTROL and our emotional response to the use and misuse of power are often central to aspects involving Pluto -- and to the themes promoted by planets that are traveling through Scorpio. Jupiter enters Scorpio on Tuesday this week, marking the beginning of its year-long transit of the sign.

Jupiter is the largest known planet of our solar system, and accordingly has the effect of amplifying the energies of whatever it touches and whatever sign it is traversing. Over the past year, while Jupiter has been in Libra, we've seen an increase in themes ruled by that sign: legal issues and lawsuits, equality and fairness, and partnerships and alliances.

The legal battles are not likely to simply fade away once Jupiter leaves Libra -- instead, as Jupiter becomes established in perceptive Scorpio, we are likely to see more secrets and motivations revealed. Emotions and truths that have been hidden beneath a cloak of civility are exposed when Scorpio has its way. Investigations deepen and we’re no longer willing to maintain a “nice” façade if that’s not how we really feel. Instead of avoiding the deep end, we dive in head first, willing to risk it all for the experience of getting to the heart of the matter.

OTHER SHORTER-TERM INFLUENCES add spice to the proceedings this week. A few of them fall into the “more significant” category -- and one of these is the Mars-Saturn square that occurs on Wednesday.

With Mars now in Virgo, we’re especially focused on getting the job done, whatever our task may be. We’re eager to pull all the strings together so we can wrap up the package and send it out the door.

However, Saturn has other ideas. Evidently from Saturn’s perspective, we’re not quite ready to call this one done. As the teacher of patience, maturity, and discipline, Saturn in square aspect to Mars can cause delays as we pursue an objective. Usually there is a higher reason for this -- perhaps, once we re-open the package and review the contents, we find that we missed a key component. Or we find out later that if everything had gone according to plan, we actually would have missed out on an opportunity for greater success.

So, if we must deal with the frustrations commonly associated with a Saturn-Mars square this week, we will benefit if we can stand back from events, objectively assess our options, and move forward again when the timing is more favorable.

NEXT SUNDAY looks like another pivotal day – Mercury is in hard aspect to Uranus and Neptune, activating the effects of the Uranus-Neptune aspect we discussed in last week’s journal. In essence, we are compelled to think outside of the box with these aspects, even if it causes discord. Staying within the comfort zone of what we’ve always done or what will be most easily accepted by others is no longer enough.

Another planetary aspect further complicates matters next weekend. A Mars-Chiron opposition can potentially reawaken the fear that we will never be able to have what we really want. And yet, as the Wounded Healer, Chiron does not visit without bringing its medicine bag. The ingredients in the potion it offers include compassion, forgiveness, faith, and a willingness to listen to the quiet and supportive voice of our own Divine Self.

IF YOUR BIRTHDAY IS THIS WEEK: Your process of deep transformation continues into the coming year. You are on a hero's journey that will ultimately result in your feeling more empowered. You are learning that you have the capacity to face challenges head-on and to not only survive them, but to use their energy to enhance your own in positive ways. Like Dorothy at the end of the Wizard of Oz, you will learn that you've always been wearing the red shoes that will take you home. Even during times of testing, you will have the courage and confidence you need -- and you also will have assistance from Spirit that will magically reveal itself at just the right moment.

In peace,

Pam

NorthPoint Journal: Your guide to planetary energies for June 26 to July 2, 2017 By Pam Younghans

NorthPoint Journal

Your guide to planetary energies for
June 26 to July 2, 2017
By Pam Younghans

Highlighted Aspects this Week
TUE: Mercury square Jupiter, Mercury trine Neptune
WED: Mercury conjunct Mars, Venus quincunx Saturn
THU: Mercury opposite Pluto
FRI: First Quarter Moon 5:51pm PDT (12:51am GMT on Saturday)
SAT: Chiron goes retrograde
SUN: Mercury quincunx Saturn, Mars opposite Pluto, Sun opposite Juno, Mercury square Eris

MERCURY, the planet of communication and information sharing, is quite active this week! Starting on Tuesday, news feeds and cell phones are in hyperdrive with Mercury in hard aspect to Jupiter.

But, the Messenger Planet is also in soft aspect to mystical Neptune on Tuesday. This will assist us in accessing our intuitive knowing -- the visceral awareness that guides us to know what we can believe, what has value for our lives, and what is a "false truth" or just of little consequence that we can discard or disregard.

GETTING CLEAR in our thoughts and beliefs is very important, since things start getting a little messy later in the week. Mercury aligns with Mars on Wednesday, which normally would just help us take action on our plans -- but there's a lot more tension involved since Mercury then goes on to oppose Pluto on Thursday (and Mars opposes Pluto on Sunday).

In other words, there's a lot of opposition going on. We'll of course see it in the headlines -- knowing that Mercury and Mars are in Cancer, the sign that rules public health and insurance companies, it's no surprise that the United States is dealing with great polarities in this area, and that issues are set to reach a crisis point this week.

WHENEVER PLUTO is involved in the mix, great passions are aroused, and even cordial exchanges can quickly become heated. Our best solution is to use the higher qualities of Cancer -- that ability of the Crab to walk sideways, moving out of the line of fire.

When we do this, either literally or figuratively, it allows us to gain a new perspective and to become more objective, since we no longer feel threatened and can relax our defensiveness. Once we've gained a better knowing of why we reacted so emotionally and how we want to address the issue, we can reengage from a much higher vibrational vantage point.

THE NEED FOR FAITH is heightened this week -- Chiron the Wounded Healer is coming to a standstill on Saturday, and starting its five-month retrograde phase. With Chiron in Pisces, the wound we are healing is one of disillusionment. It is based in a fear that we cannot trust in the benevolence of the universe, that we are alone, and that the only answer to our problems is to figure them out mentally and control them physically.

The issues that Earth and her inhabitants are working with now are SO large, that it's clear that each of us as an individual can only make a small difference. And when we realize that, it's easy to sink further into victimization or martyrdom and hopelessness. I'm sure we all have those moments, like when I see yet another video of how animals are mistreated, and I wilt with knowing that I can't possibly fix something that is SO wrong in the world.

TO FACILITATE CHANGE, we must believe in and invoke assistance from something greater than ourselves. For some, that "something" may be a spiritual being or a higher aspect of self. For others, it may be a community of like-minded others on the physical plane. For others, it may be a faith in an ideal or in the ultimate goodness of humanity. As Anne Frank so powerfully wrote in her diary, "I keep my ideals, because in spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart."

Yes, we still need to figure things out and make changes -- that's one of our jobs as physical human beings, and it's why we have minds and hands. But Chiron in Pisces is trying to heal a wound that has limited our evolution -- the belief that we are alone and unsupported.

What do you have faith in when the world seems to be running amok? How can you strengthen that faith now? And with Chiron's influence strong this week, how can you soothe and heal the aspect of yourself that still falls into the place of fear and overwhelm?

IF YOUR BIRTHDAY IS THIS WEEK: This year, your need to express yourself is highlighted. You may find that you learn the most about what you think and believe when you need to assert or defend yourself in some way. Be aware that your words have great impact this year, and that you may not always realize how they have affected the other person. If you are self-aware, intentional, and take the time to think before you act, you can do whatever you put your mind to -- you really are that powerful now!

In peace,

Pam

Thanks -- I look forward to connecting with you all on Wednesday! Now, on with this week's "star report," as one of my sisters calls it.
JUST 3 DAYS TO GO! Wednesday is the live airing of my teleclass covering July through December 2017.

Think of this class as a 90-minute "NorthPoint Journal" that you can use to plan for and navigate the energies that will be working with us over the next six months. I'll start off with an overview of planetary influences for the remainder of 2017 and then spend a good portion of the time walking through the energies week-by-week.

The class will air live on Wednesday, June 28, and will be recorded for replay for those who cannot attend at that exact time. Here's the first part of the class description:

Choosing a Star
Astrological guidance for July through December 2017

Live Broadcast on Wednesday, June 28
4pm PDT | 5pm MDT | 6pm CDT | 7pm EDT | 11pm GMT

Most of us are aware of the upcoming “American Eclipse” in late August, a Total Eclipse of the Sun that will be visible in a 70-mile-wide path across the United States, from Oregon on the Pacific Ocean to the Carolinas on the Atlantic. This powerful eclipse occurs in the sign of Leo the Lion, activating inner courage and inspiration, and initiating creative action.

But many may not know that this pivotal eclipse is activating the influence of two fixed stars: Regulus, whose name comes from the Latin for “little king,” and Muhlifain, which means “the bright star of the oath” in old Arabic. This dual activation challenges us to make a personal vow as to our intentions going forward. We can commit to expressing the truly regal qualities of Leo the Lion– generosity of spirit, joy, openheartedness, and childlike appreciation. As we hold these energies, we are a part of creating the New Wave that will carry us into a deeper spiritual connection toward the end of the calendar year. On the other hand, if we waver in our daily commitment, it will be easy to be drawn into the drama, power struggles, and childishness characteristic of the lower end of the Leo spectrum.

In this teleclass, we’ll talk about the karmic implications of this Total Eclipse and the many other astrological events in the last half of 2017, and explore how they may impact us on personal and social levels. We’ll also walk week-by-week through each month to see the opportunities and challenges we will be working with collectively and individually.

Before the class, you will receive a pdf of calendars showing planetary aspects for the next six months, so you can print them ahead of time and take notes during class. After the class airs, everyone who registered will receive a link to the replay and access to the slideshow.

NorthPoint Astrology Journal ~ by Pam Younghans September 8 to 14, 2014

Highlighted Aspects:MON: Uranus quincunx Sun, Full Moon 6:38pm PDT, Pluto sextile Ceres; TUE: Pluto square Mercury; WED: Neptune opposite Venus, Jupiter sextile Mercury; THU: Saturn sextile Sun, Mercury conjunct Pallas Athene, Mars semisquare Mercury; FRI: Chiron quincunx Mercury; SAT: Uranus opposite Mercury, Saturn conjunct Vesta, Mars enters Sagittarius, Jupiter square Ceres; SUN: Uranus sesquisquare Mars, Pluto trine Venus

THE ALIGNMENT
between Monday's Full Moon and Chiron, who is called the Wounded Healer, provides a profound opportunity for each of us to become aware of deep-level fears that may have inhibited our spiritual expansion. And, in the very same breath, we are also provided the means for healing that core wound, through a new heart opening that accepts the assistance from unseen realms and has no attachment to fear.

As I write that paragraph, it suddenly occurs to me the appropriateness of the photo and the color scheme I chose for today's journal. The vibrant emerald green of the auroras in last night's skies over Finnish-Lapland is the same jewel tone color that we associate with the heart chakra.

And, no coincidence either, that a friend this morning sent me a link to an hour-long chant that is meant to open and clear the heart chakra. (I will post that link on my blog for those who are interested.)

OTHER ASPECTS within the Full Moon chart also support this heart healing. The Moon/Chiron alignment in Pisces forms a Grand Water Trine with Ceres/Vesta/Saturn in Scorpio and Juno in Cancer. This triangular configuration represents a harmonious flow of energy that can be applied effectively to both emotional healing and spiritual enlightenment.

The grouping in Scorpio is especially powerful, given that Saturn the Manifester is involved. Saturn likes to create practical, substantial forms that are reliable and consistent, and always provides stability and substance when working in harmony with other planets. As Saturn joins energies with Ceres and Vesta, we have greater ability to actualize the practical benefits of their influence, if we are willing to apply the discipline and intentionality that Saturn requires.

THE DWARF PLANET CERES represents our capacity for nurturing self and others and for building self-worth. While in Scorpio, Ceres is helping us "transform our own inner negativity and lack of trust through the healing power of love."

As the symbol of our ability to focus and commit our intentions, the asteroid Vesta assists us in having "tremendous concentration and dedication," especially when we are working to transform our lives in important ways.

The asteroid Juno, standing alone in Cancer to complete the Grand Water Trine, is perhaps less in our awareness at this time, given the strength of the other two points in the triangle. Nevertheless, we find Juno playing an important role, reminding us of our connections to significant others, and helping us expand our capacity for heart-centered living on the physical plane.

(Quotes about Ceres and Vesta are from the book Asteroid Goddesses by Demetra George.)

THERE IS, of course, a need for adjustment on some level as we embrace the potentials of this Full Moon. This adjustment is represented by the quincunx aspect between Uranus and the Sun. A quincunx aspect occurs between planets that are in signs with very different agendas.

Uranus is currently in Aries, providing a strong emphasis on creating something new and exciting in our lives. It's very important, too that this new manifestation be based on what we truly want, rather than on what we have been told we should want. Uranus doesn't care if the "something new" is practical or not -- it just wants us to try on the new stiletto heels to see if we like them.

Compare that to the Sun in practical, sensible Virgo. If we're talking shoes, Virgo will choose the ones with strong support and sturdiness, every time.

It's easy to see the conflict between these two. Neither is wrong or right, they're just different. The adjustment needed will be to let go of the judgment that limits us to always choosing one type of shoe over another, and letting our inspiration of the moment tell us which pair we want to wear.

MERCURY ASPECTS tell us that we will learn a lot by monitoring our thoughts and words this week. First, we are challenged to look beneath the surface of any misunderstandings to see what underlying motivations are at work (Pluto square Mercury). But, a sense of humor and playfulness can help us rise above any wars of words (Jupiter sextile Mercury), as long as we remain aware of the other person's trigger points (Mars semisquare Mercury).

On Thursday, we have access to wisdom beyond our usual comprehension, wisdom that can guide us to create new harmony in spite of the differences that have arisen (Pallas Athene conjunct Mercury). It will be important to remember those insights for the remainder of the week, when it will again be easy to speak impulsively (Chiron quincunx Mercury, Uranus opposite Mercury).

THE WEEK'S END brings a shift of energy as Mars leaves behind the deep emotional waters of Scorpio and steps into fiery Sagittarius. Mars will be in Sagittarius until October 26, bringing a boldness into our step and courage to our actions that we may have not felt since last September, the last time Mars was in a fire sign.

Mars moving into Sagittarius will encourage us to make changes, as we will feel more impatient with the status quo. Along those same lines, if we choose, we can use the energy of the Uranus-Mercury opposition next weekend to our benefit. This opposition can help open neural pathways in our brains that will facilitate the expansion of our awareness and help us receive insights from the higher dimensions.

Blessings,

Pam
