THE COMING WEEK is a powerful one. Not wasting any time, we hit the ground running on Monday with a very crowded planetary schedule.

The Full Moon is in the last degree of Sagittarius at 4:02am PDT (11:02am GMT) on Monday. The final degree of any sign is called a "critical degree" in astrology. When this degree is emphasized, as it is with the Full Moon, we tend to have a sense of urgency, as if we need to quickly finish whatever we're doing before we can move on.

THIS FULL MOON tells us that we are ready to make a major transition. But, because of that feeling of having to meet a deadline, it is easy to succumb to pressure now. We may respond by having problems making decisions, either endlessly vacillating, worrying, or making decisions too quickly.

It will be important to take our time with any decisions now, especially with Mercury opposing Saturn and squaring Neptune on Monday. We can either be too pessimistic or overly idealistic with these aspects -- or most likely seesawing between the two.

Our best advice is to make sure we use both Saturn's objective practicality and Neptune's visionary insights to guide our choices. If we do this successfully, we can reap the benefits of this Sagittarius Full Moon, which offers us the wisdom, perspective, and inspiration that will be essential to our ongoing progress.

THE CANCER SOLSTICE occurs less than 12 hours after the Full Moon, increasing the potency of the energies on Monday. The horoscope of the solstice is said to give us hints about how the next three months may unfold.

With the solstice so close to the time of the lunation, emotions are heightened throughout the coming season, and events can be unpredictable. But, we also will have many opportunities to gain important insights, reconcile opposites, and achieve new levels of enlightenment through observing life events as a reflection of our internal landscape.

THE CHART drawn for the solstice, which occurs on Monday at 3:34pm PDT (10:34pm GMT), also contains a configuration called a mutable grand cross. This planetary arrangement, according to astrologer Bil Tierney, "poses frustrations due to changeability, poor concentration, indecision, nervous strain, negative suggestibility, and a tendency to give in to external pressures rather than resist or challenge."

Thankfully, Mr. Tierney also provides some hints on how to manage this challenging influence:

"We need to more deeply integrate our sense of logical analysis and conscious reasoning ability (concrete mind) with our faith potential and theoretical concepts or beliefs (abstract mind) ... To avoid running in circles, we may have to learn to control the over-expression of the mind. Since peace of mind is hard to achieve, we may benefit through meditation, contemplation, and reflective self-analysis. The tension of this grand cross is best worked out through creative efforts in educational fields or communication outlets."

This grand cross is especially powerful because it emphasizes the influence of the Saturn-Neptune square we've been working with. It also draws in the energies of several other planets and asteroids (Saturn in Sagittarius; Neptune, the asteroid Pallas Athene, and the South Node in Pisces; Mercury and the asteroid Vesta in Gemini; and Jupiter and the North Node in Virgo).

JUPITER ALIGNS with the North Node on Monday, and then forms a supportive trine aspect with Pluto next Sunday. The North Node is a point in space that represents humanity's evolutionary progress -- with the North Node now in Virgo, our job is to grow in our ability to create order where there is confusion and chaos, to act on feelings of compassion rather than withdrawing or giving up, and to be moderate in our responses instead of giving in to extremism.

As Jupiter forms these aspects this week, we are more aware than ever of the importance of holding clear intentions and focusing on positive outcomes. Our powers of discernment are also heightened, as we gain clarity on what activities are in alignment with our higher path, and which ones merely drain our energy or are a part of an avoidance tactic.

ANOTHER ASPECT OF NOTE this week is the Uranus-Ceres alignment on Thursday. Ceres is a dwarf planet (nee asteroid) that represents the nurturing/mothering principle, in all of its forms. This means not only how we take care of children, but also ourselves, other people, other animals, and the Earth herself.

As Uranus and Ceres conjoin, they are also within one degree of Eris, the recently discovered minor planet that represents an assertive feminine energy. This alignment indicates that we are in the midst of a revolution, one that is meant to awaken the empowered feminine in an innovative way. This combination of sensitivity and courage is what we most need right now, as we work to heal ourselves, our planet, and all of her inhabitants.

ONLY 10 DAYS until our teleclass! I'm calling this teleclass "Bridging Realities" because of the powerful transition time we're going through. We have a sense that we're crossing a bridge into a new phase of our lives -- but sometimes our footing can feel uncertain, as if we are crossing a suspension bridge that moves and sways beneath our feet.

In the class, I'll share what's going on astrologically during the last half of 2016 and talk about how events such as the final Saturn-Neptune square and the September eclipses might unfold. My goal is to provide insights and explain timing that will help you take advantage of the opportunities and navigate the challenges ahead.

IF YOU CAN'T ATTEND the live teleclass on June 30, no worries! Everyone who registers will have access to the replay and the slideshow after the class airs, so you can listen, watch, and take notes at your leisure.
