Wise owls, we can save ourselves a lot of headache today if we RE-ACTIVATE instead of REACTING.
By this, if a situation or circumstance arises that prompts an immediate, knee-jerk, "old way" reaction, we interrupt that reaction before we respond, and do it a different way.
The generator for this today is the conjunction of Venus with the Sun -- a big deal.  Exact conjunction occurs at 4:37 pm ET/8:47 pm UT, but this dynamic has been in effect for a few days and will remain in effect through Wednesday.  Energy moves in waves, so it crests and wanes.
The Sabian symbol for the degree of the conjunction (16 Gemini 32) is "the head of a robust youth turns into that of a mature thinker."  The force and vitality of youth is applied at a higher level, with a greater purpose involved.
The Venus-Sun conjunction makes angles (astrological aspects) with the South Node (the past) and the North Node (the future; destiny).  The Sabian symbol for the degree of the South Node is "in a huge tent, a famous REVIVALIST conducts his meeting with a spectacular performance."  The energy for reviving -- restoring life to something -- is dramatic (especially something that remains from the past).
The Sabian symbol for the degree of the North Node is "two girls playing with a Ouija board."  When this energetic is in effect, we can feel like we have very little control over what is happening or what we are experiencing.
The easiest way to switch from "reacting" to "reactivating" is reconnecting with Gaia Sophia (Mother Nature) and Thelete (Father Sky).  Wisdom and will united brings the fulfillment of hopes, wishes, and dreams.
It may also help to know that the following themes are in effect today with the energetics of the Venus-Sun transit:
1- NEWNESS - We are in the New Moon phase and "newness" is reinforced with the Earth located at the degree of "an Easter sunrise service."  Things that feel like changes are opportunities.  In astrology, a conjunction is equivalent to a New phase (like a New Moon, a beginning).  So there is newness all around.  What does the Venus-Sun transit seek to birth or rebirth within you?
2- MONEY - Venus rules money, so we will be aware of this tendency for money issues to come up today.  Drama within the financial markets could be expected.  The Black Moon is transiting opposite the Chiron Point (which also involves money).  The Black Moon is discharging "a broken bottle and spilled perfume" and Saturn is discharging "a widow's past is brought to light."  Dirty or double dealings could easily come out.  (As I mentioned in the New Moon in Gemini recording, Hillary Clinton has not fared well when the "broken bottle and spilled perfume" energetic has been in effect in the past.  I have observed the connection for some time.  The truth about the Clinton's "foundation," among other things, is unfolding.  The fall cometh.
3 - MULTI-FACETED - Today Mercury disseminates the energetic of "a jewelry shop filled with the most magnificent jewels."  Mercury rules our thoughts, and the light of the Venus-Sun conjunction will shine some brilliant gems.
4- MORALE AND ACHIEVEMENTS - A little bit of team-building or morale boosting by recognizing and appreciating others will go a very long way today.  In general, people feel quite uncertain right now, so any attempt to secure the feeling of security is helpful.
The skills of spiritual warriors are practiced today through an artful maneuver of changing from reacting to reactivating.  We apply our force and vitality for the revival of wisdom and will -- the heart's desires.  Happy Venus-Sun day!
Addendum:
It is always interesting to write the Oracle Report each morning.  I never know quite what I am going to get.  You may feel similarly.
The Mahavidyas have something for us to consider today.
I go through the same process (a ritual practice) each day.  I look at the day's astrology and see what is interacting, and then I begin to write out in long hand the Sabian symbol energetics in effect.  I write out each symbol's full meaning.  This is how I begin to tap in.
After I write those out, I step back and my instruction with the Wisdom Goddesses begins.  They point out what they feel is important to discuss and highlight.  They teach me how the energetics will interplay.  There is a winnowing down or distillation of the essence.  They "focus in" among the myriad of explanations for the day's energy.
Today, the Mahavidyas would like to us to think about the following perception.  I will write it just as they told it to me.  Regarding the nature of the Venus-Sun conjunction at the Sabian symbol of "the head of a robust youth changes into that of a mature thinker:"
A herd follows the dominant energy.  A pack thinks individually as one.  A parliament rises above and changes the nature and experience of reality.  There is no hierarchy here.  Just the nature of different energies - different purposes at different times.
I am pretty sure they want us to change our reality today.  Nothing big.  (Smile.)
