Weekly Forecast: February 7 - 13, 2016
The
Karmic Tools Weekly Forecast covers the current planetary transits

2/7 ~ Sun (source & essential Self) ~square~ Mars (desires & actions):
This is a challenge about your energy and how to direct it properly. You started something about 6-months ago that now challenges who you are and what you want, so adjustments must be made. It's not a good/bad thing, just a test to get out of your comfort zone and into new territory. You are supported to get your true desires congruent with what/who you present to the world. As you develop that, often the first things that come up are what's not working. It may seem as if the Universe, and a couple of humans for good measure, will be pointing out your weaknesses, short-comings, lack of preparation and mistakes you've made. Be careful not to take things personal, but keep in mind that if it's being brought into your awareness, you can learn from it. Keep self-preservation in mind, and be compassionate with others struggling with their own identity issues at this time. This is energy that needs a positive, physical outlet too. If you can channel it through physical exercise or an activity you love you may find that the *Moving Meditation* opens you up to better choices and more authentic decisions, while denial & suppression only lead to disappointment, illness or accidents.
2/7 ~ Venus (feminine values & priorities) ~sextile~ Mars (masculine desires & actions):
This energy is good for trying new things and meeting new people, if/when possible. It creates a good vibe and balanced masculine/feminine energy that allows a nice exchange between self and other. This is a good time to be creative, so be cognizant of any ideas that come to you right now, even if you cannot implement them right away. This is a happy, upbeat energy, so if you can be sociable, by all means, get out and mingle. It's possible to attract someone under this influence as well. The best thing to do with this energy is get involved with new and progressive projects or people. It's all very positive.
2/10 ~ Venus (socialize) ~trine~ Jupiter (optimism & travel):
This is usually a pleasant energy, although short lived. This is a good time to enjoy some kind of social activity. No pressure - just easy, laid-back fun. It can make you prone to laziness or excess, but only if you're already prone to it. Otherwise, if you are typically busy and constantly on the go, this energy gives you permission to kick back a little and release the usual pressures to produce. Take some time out to "smell the roses" or at least reflect on all that you have accomplished and give your Self due credit for coming this far. This is a good time to travel, go on a vacation or take a short trip. This energy tends to bring forth earned blessings. Take a moment to give thanks to the powers that be which brought you to this point!

This energy will help you figure out what your deepest desires and authentic Truth really are for you. If you are not sure, this expansion will illuminate the possibilities for you. This is a potent opportunity to take things to the next level. Mars often lends a boost of energy, so definitely be active, work in some physical activity (but don't over-do it), make any presentations you need to make, negotiate any contracts or deals you need to because all is supported for you knowing who you are and what you want in a way that conveys without much effort on your part. The effort required to activate this easy energy is to actively pursue your desires, to expand your horizons by learning something new, by being around other like-minded souls and putting that extra energy behind some worthy project ... YOU!
