A FULL MOON in Virgo lights our path as we begin the last full week of February. Full Moons are always times to assess our progress, to become aware of the larger purpose of recent events, and to provide greater awareness to guide our decision-making.

The Sabian symbol for the degree of the lunation is a hopeful one, and guides our thoughts to the Virgo-Pisces ideals of unconditional love and acceptance:

"Black and white children play together happily: The overcoming of social prejudices."

The Full Moon is telling us that it is time to overcome the barriers that divide us -- person from person, and us from ourselves. To achieve that high goal, we must soften our judgments and open our hearts in new ways, and on many levels.

JUPITER is exactly opposite Chiron on Tuesday, which means the influence of this opposition aspect is included in the themes of Monday's Full Moon. Our awareness of where we lack trust may be heightened, but our determination to make progress and heal our wounds is equally strong.

There can be a "healing crisis" of sorts associated with this opposition. If we can relax our expectations while also maintaining a strong sense of hope in positive outcomes, we will be tapping in to the energies of both Jupiter and Chiron and allowing them to do their healing work with us.

This Full Moon -- and the upcoming Solar Eclipse on March 8-9 -- are strongly karmic in nature, due to Jupiter's alignment with the North Node in Virgo and Chiron's alignment with the South Node in Pisces. We are at a time of completion and resolution; we are moving beyond old patterns of victimization, oversensitivity, and self-doubt, and moving into new forms of service, integrating greater self-confidence, and learning how to focus in the present for best results.

MERCURY is the most active planet on Thursday and Friday, being in supportive sextile aspects with both Saturn and Uranus. When Mercury is supported, communications flow better and ideas come more easily.

However, a Mercury-Jupiter quincunx on Saturday may rein us in a bit, if we've taken too big a leap in the previous days. We'll need to adjust our thinking and our plans, and learn to be more flexible in our expectations.

THE SUN aligns with Neptune in Pisces next Sunday at 7:46am PST (3:36pm GMT). This alignment can have several effects, as it increases our sensitivity to nonphysical realms.

We could use the Sun-Neptune conjunction simply to doze lazily in bed past our usual waking time. Taking it a step further, we could lie in bed and play with dream images, allowing them to guide us into new realms of possibility. Or, we could take advantage of the heightened spiritual and creative energies in other ways, through meditation or writing, or other artistic pursuits.

On personal and emotional levels, this alignment means our hearts are fairly open and we are more sensitive to feelings -- both ours and others'. Because of this, we will want to be gentle with ourselves, and take plenty of time and space to relax into the day, so that we can also receive whatever inspirations may be headed our way.

In peace,

Pam
