fresh perception, control systems unraveling and replaced by better ones, preparation, tokens of love and appreciation, delicate, moving beyond complacency, beauty, attention to detail, reflection, fascination, believing

Catalysts for Change:  transhumanism, rejection, meaninglessness, pretending, aggressive, projecting one's own feelings onto others (strong this weekend), stifling creativity, discouraging self and others, spinning a tall tale, self pity, selling out and selling self/others short, going against the flow/resisting change, confrontation with self

Sabian Symbol for the Solar-Lunar Month: "the race begins: intent on outdistancing his rivals, a jockey spurs his horse to great speed"

Sabian Symbol for the Solar-Lunar Year: "the magic carpet of Oriental imagery"

SATURDAY

Implicit within the energetics Saturday is the theme of second chances.  In addition to Venus stationing retrograde, an astrological transit that goes back and revises, we have other energetics that favor recovering something -- a project, idea, relationship, dream, avocation, skill, desire, anything.

Mars is discharging 27 Aries, "through imagination a lost opportunity is regained."  The Moon is making conjunction with the Black Moon (8:35 am ET/1:35 pm UT - it has already occurred) at 03 Sagittarius, "two men playing chess."  What can be recovered and moved forward?

Venus stationed retrograde earlier today at 14 Aries, "a serpent coiling near a man and a woman."  Before we continue on with this energetic, let's pause and channel our "inner Jung."  Visualize this symbol - a serpent coiling near a man and a woman.  What do you see?  Take a mental picture.  Free associate.

Consider The Questions: who, what, why, where, and how?  Who are they (the serpent, man, woman - gender not relevant)?  What do they look like and feel like?  What is each's purpose? Where are they?  What is the scene like?  How do they feel, each of them?  Is the coil a foil?  Is a person, place, or thing in your life represented in each of these symbols - the serpent, the man, and the woman?

Through this exercise, through our imaginations, untapped wisdom is gained.  This exercise will yield important information about what we truly value, which is the mission of Venus retrograde.

Additionally on Saturday, we do have a theme of aggression or war in the air with the Sun discharging "an officer drilling his men in simulated attack," and Mercury discharging "a sword used in many battles in a museum...
