WIN-WIN SOLUTION

WIN-WIN SOLUTION: Let's all go to a Yoga class and meet halfway.
We'll do Warrior II pose, which is neither standing or kneeling.
Seriously, why not?

I did make it to a "Flow and Restore" Yoga class this evening. I have been in the house on the computer most of the time for many days sitting way too much, until today. I had signed up for 2 classes that I canceled on Friday night and Saturday morning. I was kind of having a Dark Night of the Soul for a few days, and didn't feel like being around people if I didn't have to. Almost went to one Sunday, but walked at the pond instead. Almost went last night but I couldn't get there in time. Now I feel much better from doing yoga and eating a healthy, spicy meal afterward. ( I went for Thai food, because that's what my body wanted to feel better. I love Thai iced tea to balance out the heat in the food.)

I actually want to do some more yoga before bed, which is the point of taking classes, to get back into a regular, daily practice. When you stop doing yoga for a long time, then start again, it is not so easy to get back to where you were. Your body protests, and as you breathe into that discomfort, you start to learn about your habits and your what your body wants and needs. To my surprise, I have come to understand it is the long hours at the computer that impacts me the most, not the bodywork on multiple massage clients. It's all about finding the balance. Balance, that is something I also need to work on more. Sounds like a plan. <3

(p.s.) Remember, Yoga is for EVERY body. Some clients have told me that they can't do yoga because "I've never been very flexible." --which is exactly why they need it! The beauty of it is that you are challenging yourself, it is not a competition. Who wouldn't want to feel better, sleep better, and cultivate better habits?

(p.p.s.) The other benefit of yoga is that is calms one down and helps one gain perspective, because the focus is not out there, it is inside one's heart.

Energy Update 2-1-16 by Jenny Schiltz

Energy Update 2-1-16 by Jenny Schiltz

9

The energy is high and it will continue at this intensity for a few more days. We entered a portal area and while intense it is really a great opportunity. With this portal we are able to integrate very high frequencies that change everything about us. This energy is asking that we put away our masks, face our shadow, and start co-creating from the heart space.

We are receiving tremendous support at this time and many are experiencing visions, dreams, and messages. Pay attention. Pay attention to the animal messages, the angel numbers, the thoughts you have that inspire, the images we perceive with our third eye. Write these moments down, they are here to help you, to guide you into the new.

Anything that is out of balance within you is coming to a head to be seen. That quiet whisper is becoming a roar so that you can no longer deny it. It is in these moments that we choose to either see and act or bury it down again. Sometimes simply acknowledging the truth of a situation brings about tremendous growth. This portal is a choice point, how ready are we to move beyond the thoughts, beliefs, and feelings that are keeping us from our truth. How far we grow, how far we reach during this time is up to us.

This energy can make one feel very anxious and fearful. Talk to your body and tell it that it will be fine, that all is as it should be. Headaches, neck, teeth, moments of blurry vision and jaw pain not uncommon with these super high energies, our body is doing its best to keep up. Do what your body asks. If you have nervous energy, go for a walk, do yoga or some other exercise program. For those stuck in house with the weather, go on youtube and find a yoga class and do this with the intention of moving energy through you. For those who can barely keep your eyes open, REST. It is how the body integrates the higher energies.

Other ways to cope are salt and crystal baths, using flower essences, mediation and other energy work. I find that smelling cut flowers always calms me down when I can’t get outside.

Much love & Blessings to you all! We are in amazing times <3

DAILY OM ~ February 15, 2015 Body Language: Listening and Responding

"Tuning in to the language of our bodies can be very enlightening and increases our intuition...."

DAILY OM ~ February 15, 2015
Body Language: Listening and Responding

by Madisyn Taylor

"So much can be revealed to us when we listen to the language of our bodies. Our bodies are always speaking, sending us messages through the way we move, the sensations that arise from within, and the gestures and expressions that we make when we are communicating with others. Tuning in to the language of our bodies can be very enlightening, especially as most communication is believed to take place nonverbally. It is also believed that the body never lies, and that if we want to know the truth about ourselves and others, then we should listen to what our bodies have to say. Anyone who has ever flirted with someone they are attracted to has probably, at one point in time or another, brushed their hands through their hair or found themselves leaning forward to get closer to that person. Someone feeling defensive will tend to cross their arms over their chest, while a person who wants to withhold something may look away when speaking.

If you want to know how you truly feel about a person or a situation, then it is a good idea to tune in to what you are feeling inside. Excitement, nervousness, anxiety, and fear are just some of the messages that your body wants you to hear. Your body can also be a very reliable compass. Anyone who has ever been somewhere they don’t want to be has probably experienced their bodies trying to move them away from that particular circumstance. And while it can be very easy to talk ourselves into and out of choices we may make with our minds, it isn’t so easy to change the truth of our hearts that reside within our bodies.

To begin tuning in to this subtle form of communication, start taking the time to notice what your body is telling you. Greet each feeling or sensation as a message carrying wisdom from your body. Tune in to what your body is telling you about the situations and people you encounter and listen to what others are communicating to you through their bodies. We already are subconsciously receptive to the language of our bodies, but when we choose to consciously pay attention, we hear and understand so much more about ourselves and the people around us."

10 Things Highly Intuitive People Do Differently

10 Things Highly Intuitive People Do Differently
BY STEVEN BANCARZ
JUNE 20, 2014 SELF HELP, SPIRITUALITY

"Intuition is challenging to define, despite the huge role it plays in our everyday lives. Steve Jobs called it, for instance, “more powerful than intellect.” But however we put it into words, we all, well, intuitively know just what it is.Pretty much everyone has experienced a gut feeling — that unconscious reasoning that propels us to do something without telling us why or how. But the nature of intuition has long eluded us, and has inspired centuries’ worth of research and inquiry in the fields of philosophy and psychology.“I define intuition as the subtle knowing without ever having any idea why you know it,” Sophy Burnham, bestselling author of The Art of Intuition, tells The Huffington Post. “It’s different from thinking, it’s different from logic or analysis … It’s a knowing without knowing.”Our intuition is always there, whether we’re aware of it or not. As HuffPost President and Editor-in-Chief Arianna Huffington puts it in her upcoming book Thrive:Even when we’re not at a fork in the road, wondering what to do and trying to hear that inner voice, our intuition is always there, always reading the situation, always trying to steer us the right way. But can we hear it? Are we paying attention? Are we living a life that keeps the pathway to our intuition unblocked? Feeding and nurturing our intuition, and living a life in which we can make use of its wisdom, is one key way to thrive, at work and in life.Cognitive science is beginning to demystify the strong but sometimes inexplicable presence of unconscious reasoning in our lives and thought. Often dismissed as unscientific because of its connections to the psychic and paranormal, intuition isn’t just a bunch of hoo-ha about our “Spidey senses” — the U.S. military is even investigating the power of intuition, which has helped troops to make quick judgments during combat that ended up saving lives.“There is a growing body of anecdotal evidence, combined with solid research efforts, that suggests intuition is a critical aspect of how we humans interact with our environment and how, ultimately, we make many of our decisions,” Ivy Estabrooke, a program manager at the Office of Naval Research, told the New York Times in 2012.Here are 10 things that people in touch with their intuition do differently.

They listen to that inner voice.

“It’s very easy to dismiss intuition,” says Burnham. “But it’s a great gift that needs to be noticed.”The No. 1 thing that distinguishes intuitive people is that they listen to, rather than ignore, the guidance of their intuitions and gut feelings.“Everybody is connected to their intuition, but some people don’t pay attention to it as intuition,” Burnham say. “I have yet to meet a successful businessman that didn’t say, ‘I don’t know why I did that, it was just a hunch.’”In order to make our best decisions, we need a balance of intuition — which serves to bridge the gap between instinct and reasoning — and rational thinking, according to Francis Cholle, author of The Intuitive Compass. But the cultural bias against following one’s instinct or intuition often leads to disregarding our hunches — to our own detriment.“We don’t have to reject scientific logic in order to benefit from instinct,” says Cholle. “We can honor and call upon all of these tools, and we can seek balance. And by seeking this balance we will finally bring all of the resources of our brain into action.”

They take time for solitude.

If you want to get in touch with your intuition, a little time alone may be the most effective way. Just as solitude can help give rise to creative thinking, it can also help us connect to our deepest inner wisdom.Intuitive people are often introverted, according to Burnham. But whether you’re an introvert or not, taking time for solitude can help you engage in deeper thought and reconnect with yourself.“You have to be able to have a little bit of solitude; a little bit of silence,” she says. “In the middle of craziness … you can’t recognize [intuition] above all of the noise of everyday life.”

They create.

“Creativity does its best work when it functions intuitively,” writes researcher and author Carla Woolf. In fact, creative people are highly intuitive, explains Burnham, and just as you can increase your creativity through practice, you can boost your intuition. In fact, practicing one may build up the other.

They practice mindfulness.

Meditation and other mindfulness practices can be an excellent way to tap into your intuition. As the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute explains, “Mindfulness can help you filter out mental chatter, weigh your options objectively, tune into your intuition and ultimately make a decision that you can stand behind completely.”Mindfulness can also connect you to your intuition by boosting self-knowledge. A 2013 study published in the journal Perspectives on Psychological Science showed that mindfulness — defined as “paying attention to one’s current experience in a non-judgmental way” — may help us to better understand our own personalities. And as Arianna Huffington notes in Thrive, increased intuition, compassion, creativity and peace are all wonderful side effects of meditating.

They observe everything.

“The first thing to do is notice — keep a little journal, and notice when odd things happen,” Burnham says. You’ll gain a keen sense for how often coincidences, surprising connections and on-the-dot intuitions occur in your daily life — in other words, you’ll start to tap into your intuition.

They listen to their bodies.

Intuitive people learn to tune into their bodies and heed their “gut feelings.”If you’ve ever started feeling sick to your stomach when you knew something was wrong but couldn’t put your finger on what, you understand that intuitions can cause a physical sensation in the body. Our gut feelings are called gut feelings for a reason — research suggests that emotion and intuition are very much rooted in the “second brain” in the gut.

They connect deeply with others.

Mind reading may seem like the stuff of fantasy and pseudo-science, but it’s actually something we do everyday. It’s called empathic accuracy, a term in psychology that refers to the “seemingly magical ability to map someone’s mental terrain from their words, emotions and body language,” according to Psychology Today.“When you see a spider crawling up someone’s leg, you feel a creepy sensation,”Marcia Reynolds writes in Psychology Today. “Similarly, when you observe someone reach out to a friend and they are pushed away, your brain registers the sensation of rejection. When you watch your team win or a couple embrace on television, you feel their emotions as if you are there. Social emotions like guilt, shame, pride, embarrassment, disgust and lust can all be experienced by watching others.”Tuning into your own emotions, and spending time both observing and listening to others face-to-face can help boost your powers of empathy, says Reynolds.

They pay attention to their dreams.

Burnham recommends paying attention to your dreams as a way to get in touch with your mind’s unconscious thinking processes. Both dreams and intuition spring from the unconscious, so you can begin to tap into this part of your mind by paying attention to your dreams.“At night, when you’re dreaming, you’re receiving information from the unconscious or intuitive part of your brain,” says Burnham. “If you’re attuned to your dreams, you can get a lot of information about how to live your life.”

They enjoy plenty of down time.

Few things stifle intuition as easily as constant busyness, multitasking, connectivity to digital devices and stress and burnout. According to Huffington, we always have an intuitive sense about the people in our lives — on a deep level, we know the good ones from the “flatterers and dissemblers” — but we’re not always awake enough to our intuition to acknowledge the difference to ourselves. The problem is that we’re simply too busy.“We always get warnings from our heart and our intuition when they appear,” she writes in Thrive. “But we are often too busy to notice.”

They mindfully let go of negative emotions.

Strong emotions — particularly negative ones — can cloud our intuition. Many of us know that we feel out of sorts or “not ourselves” when we’re upset, and it may be because we’re disconnected from our intuition.“When you are very depressed, you may find your intuition fails,” says Burnham. “When you’re angry or in a heightened emotional state … your intuition [can] fail you completely.”The evidence isn’t just anecdotal: A 2013 study published in the journal Psychological Science showed that being in a positive mood boosted the ability to make intuitive judgments in a word game. That’s not to say that intuitive people never get upset — but your intuition will fare better if you’re able to mindfully accept and let go of negative emotions for the most part, rather than suppressing or dwelling on them."

Soulstice Rising Ascension Notes: Full Moon Gateway 6/10/2014 by Kara Schallock

Soulstice Rising Ascension Notes: Full Moon Gateway
6/10/2014 by Kara Schallock

"Have you noticed how much you have shifted? I shared on Facebook how we have moved further into being Ascended Masters on Earth. As part of our mastery, we have moved from a protective space to being in our Power wherever we are; no matter who we’re with or where. You see, we have anchored much of the higher energies and so are quite strong in our Presence. In the recent past, it has been important to protect our space as we were quite sensitive and vulnerable. And our Sensitivity grows, except that it is strong and not ego-based. The New Sensitivity is about being strong and aware and being profoundly guided by our Souls; our Hearts fully engaged. The New Sensitivity is not weak at all. Please know, however, that because we each are on our own timeline, wherever you are is perfect for you. Let go of any comparisons and know I speak in general terms, as guided.

While we have definitely moved into another new space, we are getting ready for yet another big leap with the Full Moon in a few days (June 12 at 10:11p.m MDT). To add even more Power to this Gateway, we will be receiving two large solar flares, which always adds more energy to anything. These erupted today and will reach us just in time for the Full Moon. So prepare for more shifting and more Light. Our Third Eyes will especially be affected, so perhaps you will notice more Light shows with more phenomena such as shapes, colors and an increase of Intuition. For many, the Veil is extremely thin or not there at all. This is the Veil that separates the 3rd Dimension from higher dimensions.

Energies have increasingly become more powerful and intense, especially since the Spring Equinox and we’re not done yet. This Full Moon will prepare us for the upcoming Summer Solstice, which will be an amazing and powerful upgrade of Light from our Galactic Sun empowered through our own sun. As you might have noticed, our physical bodies have and will continue to be affected as whenever we shift mentally, emotionally and spiritually, our physical bodies must shift as well, as there is no separation between our bodies. As we rise in consciousness our bodies then work hard to match. We also are releasing toxins that have accumulated for eons, and this is why it is so important to listen to what your body needs in any given moment.

Many of you feel the upcoming intensity before it occurs as what you may label as anxiety or nervousness. And yet, it isn’t that at all. It simply is our bodies preparing for a major download of Light. There is also some sense of something big about to happen. And when we are in it, often we experience the old “Ascension symptoms,” such as strange sleep patterns, dietary shifts, aches and pains, headaches, etc. This simply is our physical body adjusting and preparing, so don’t get attached to the symptoms, but flow with them in a dispassionate way.

As we shed the old, we step more strongly into the New. This can be thought of “bringing Heaven to Earth” or a merging of our Soul and ego. With this there is more that is revealed; things become clearer, much illusion is dispelled and our Awareness is more acute as to what to shift out of and into. As we place our focus on what we choose to create, old patterns drop away as if they were old scales on a dragon gracefully falling away to make room for new ones. All is much easier now, unless you are resisting the changes. You may have dreams in which you release much and you may see that roles you have played in other lifetimes are no longer valid. We have been releasing many lifetimes, which is appropriate, for those times no longer or cannot exist in the New.

You may notice also that everyone is being affected by the shifts, whether they are conscious of it or not. I find it so interesting to hear people, who are not consciously choosing Ascension, complain about certain changes (especially physical ones). I know what is happening with them, so I just smile knowingly and lovingly, being aware that it is not my place to jump in and tell them why they are experiencing such change…unless I am invited to do so. This is part of the mastery…to be a “Lighthouse…” just shining brightly without the compulsion to teach, save or rescue. Many who are resisting the changes are in deep pain, so being compassionate, understanding, patient and accepting is the path of the Master. For those who have moved beyond duality, it is much easier to be a Lighthouse, rather than a rescuer.

Discernment is key to evolving. Discern any distractions that intend to pull you away from the work at hand; and there are many. If you can maintain being in your Center; your Heart; and observe with Compassion without getting sucked in; you will more gracefully evolve. This includes personal drama as well as global drama. It also includes “spiritual phenomena.” If you are one who sees beyond the 3D Veil, instead of “ooo-ing and ahh-ing,” simply observe it. In this way, you are able to stay in your Center. Otherwise, you get carried off into the duality of “Oooh; isn’t that wonderful?” or “Ugh; that’s terrible.” The only thing that truly matterns now is to merge with your Higher Self/Source/Soul. And know that as you do, you are of much greater service to the planet and all of life, for who you are within flows out in waves to all of life. See Discernment as Neutrality. To do so, you must first know truly that you are an Ascending Master. Claim it; Be it.

Follow your Guidance at all times. Take a moment and truly feel before doing anything. This will definitely put you in the highest space for making a decision. As you practice this, it become easy to follow your Guidance, for you will receive instant feedback whether your choice was aligned with your Soul, ego or others’ expectations of you. If you feel a desire to spend time alone, do so. If you are drawn to being with others, then do so. Just be very clear that your choices create any future moments. It takes Awareness and being fully awake in each moment.

As you observe all as Compassion, you see that indeed you have shifted into and as the Truth of You…and that is Love. Simple and Pure."

Wishing you Love on your Ascension Path,

Kara
