Tomorrow we have the opportunity to receive a really powerful download of high dimensional Light (you probably are already feeling it). This is connected strongly to the 11-11-14 “gateway.” (I am guided not to use human terms such as “gateway” and “portal,” as these lock the energies in a box and are finite. Instead, by not labeling the energies, we allow them to be free-flowing, much like it is essential that we be free-flowing.) This 11-11-15 also adds up to an 11, as did the 11-11-14. There has been a continual flow of high vibrational energy since then and now culminates in anchoring the higher energies. Because of this, many are experiencing physical manifestations such as headaches, skin eruptions, sleeplessness and other manifestations that are aligned with each unique Ascension pathway (Ascension is not a generalized, cookie-cutter phenomena).
While many have gotten attached to “we arrive in the Golden Age in 2015” phenomena, as I mentioned in the last Ascension Note, there is no separation between years, for time is human-made. Higher Truth is infinite, timeless and free-flowing. So “last year” flows into “this year” without demarcation. What you were working on “last year” continues, only on a higher level.
With the energies of 1-11-15, there will likely be some very deep old energies bubbling up for release. It can cause some real shakeups in your life, especially if you want a predictable life. In the higher realms, there is no predictable or controlled life, so the most important thing you can do is to flow with it all. And trust that you are safe and guided. Self-care is guided and letting everything go is one way to just Be. Meditation helps you stay in the Moment, which truly is the only place to Be! Let go of the past and the future-tripping. And release anything that bubbles up that is not Love, especially anything that takes you out of the Moment.
For those of you who have been on your Path for a while now, you may see things that definitely are not of the 3-D. Trust what you see and feel. And know too that nothing is in black and white. Some feel like they are complete with the old and only in the New. We are in a continuum of energy. We are in the New for sure and we still will be releasing the old. This is part of being multidimensional… being in more than one place at a time. Some days you will feel so light and free and other days you will feel as though you have bottomed out. Don’t judge it and have Patience with it all and have Patience with yourself and others. There is also more of a valley between those who are walking their talk and those who use the buzz words of Ascension without being what they speak of. Just remember that everyone is exactly where they need to be, and it will shift.
During this powerful time your New Blueprint, heightened DNA and expanded Pineal Chakra are activated even more, so that you will receive more Aha’s!, see more colors and feel yourself vibrating at times. We continually rise higher in vibration and consciousness and a big part of this time is to have our lives reflect it. It does no good to be Light and still act and react in the old way. Be congruent with all aspects of life. Be in your New Integrity; not in rules, but in your Heart’s knowing. Because we are rising more in Light, anything of the old will be more pronounced and feel really really uncomfortable. It may feel as though you have no choice but to shift the thing that is creating the discomfort; be it a job, a relationship, a belief or a way of being in the world.
We are moving quite quickly now. This is because the more dross we release, the quicker we move. As we stay in the Moment and stay focused on being Divine Love and merge more with our high dimensional Souls, we can let go of our “ain’t it awful” old attitude about personal and global events. If you find yourself fixated on what is wrong, you then create more of that. And if you find yourself doing that, bring yourself back to center. You can take a deep breath into your Heart, while you place one of your hands on your Heart (or High Heart). This brings you back to center quickly and easily. You can also call to your Higher Self/Soul and merge as One. You can always ask for assistance, for it is always there for you. Keep your vibration high and let go of any drama or chaos or “bad news.” As you do, you will flow more easily, receive higher Light more easily and will notice how indeed it instantly shifts your mood. Check in often with yourself and see where you are. Are you resisting or flowing?
As part of your self-care, which is self-Love, take much alone time to disconnect from lower energies. The more sensitive you are, the more you will feel the energies, especially now, and will need that quiet time to assimilate the New energies. Whether you are aware of it or not, your energy affects others. And since we are the wayshowers of merging Heaven and Earth as One, it is important to take care of ourselves. If you are exhausted, it is because you need a break, since you are doing much to raise the vibration and consciousness of Earth. And know that your own frequency is much higher now and will become more so.
There is also an empowerment and balance of the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine within. You will not want to keep silent nor hold yourself back any more. You will want to take action on your guidance, while letting go of any end result. The Divine Feminine raises you in vibration and consciousness, while the Divine Masculine anchors it within your body, making you strong and clear. In this way, you can be out in the world without feeling swallowed up by it. And this also helps you stay in true Balance.
If you are guided to do Ceremony on 1/11, then do so, making your intentions strong, which means to follow up with taking action on your intentions. Remember, 11 is a powerful master number. It is the number of the Visionary. With this 1/11 energy you empower the Visionary to be the Master Manifestor. What do you want and how do you want to feel? Let go of the details and focus instead on how you want to feel in your manifested vision. Elevens also let you know you are not alone, for it is a time when all the Angels of the Divine Light and Plan are with you in Love and Support.

In Sagittarius, we move from human consciousness to cosmic consciousness. We glimpse the beauties and wonders of the big, bright world beyond our personal sphere. In Scorpio we did the hard work of shedding the final vestiges of our personal egos, our greatest attachments. We found our souls. Now, in Sagittarius, we reap the rewards. We join the larger community and participate in the joy of belonging to that great shining world of ideals.
All fire signs are born-again signs, and in Sagittarius we are born into spirit, we are baptized. Sagittarius does, in fact, connect with belief, ritual, and religion. Most religions have celebrations during this season.
Sagittarius is a spiritual sign.

Sagittarius is also practical.
But aspirations and visions are only part of Sagittarius. The Sagittarian symbol is the Centaur, which combines the body of both horse and human. Its powerful hooves are well planted on instinctual earth as it shoots arrows into the heavens towards distant goals, perhaps unseen by others. Its feet are on the ground; it is always connected with practicality.
The trick is to refine our vision so that we can see those goals ever more clearly, for wherever we aim our arrows, those powerful horse hooves will carry us, creating effects in real life.
It is through continual searching, continual exposure to new stimuli, continual new adventures, that Sagittarius learns to see more clearly, to develop skill in projecting its special vision. We call the result wisdom, or understanding.
This search can be on inner or outer planes, for Sagittarius is the first sign which can live equally on both planes. This is the key to Sagittarius, the continual quest to join those planes together, to bring heaven to earth and earth to heaven. Sagittarian Uri Geller says that his powers come through him from an intelligent, extraterrestrial energy.
How can we best tune into these practical-idealistic forces of Sagittarius? One of the great keys is openness, allowing new learning and new understanding to enlighten us. “Sage” and “sagacity” are words related to “Sagittarius.” We can create our visions, tap into our intuition to help us glimpse the future, to see various paths and their consequences, and then use our intelligence to pursue those goals which are most true to ourselves, to our own spirits.
Sagittarius, with its forward-looking vision, its practicality, and its sensitivity to common purpose, is also the teacher and the coach. The best way to teach in fiery Sagittarius is by radiating our own light, our own illuminated truth, our own special beauty. It is the arrows of our true selves which we are learning to project into the heavens.
Fire sign Sagittarius heals by cleansing. In Sagittarius, if we choose to set our horses’ hooves on the path of self-truth towards which the arrow directs us, we can cleanse ourselves of the wounds we have suffered through relationships—by tuning into our common humanity, by understanding, and by forgiving.
The energies of Sagittarius can wipe clean our pettinesses, resentments, envies, and self-pities, can give us practice in working with others who are different than us (teamwork), and can prepare us to enter into the responsible community-building of Capricorn.
Sagittarius is a bright and optimistic sign, filled with optimism and faith.
However, Sagittarius has its down side.
It is the first of the four universal signs, and thus is a baby in spiritual philosophy. In its inexperience it can be self-righteous, condescending, opinionated and dogmatic in spiritual and philosophical matters.
Faith can be blind, and Sag can delude itself and others about life, and deny realities which are uncomfortable.
In its faith and optimism, it can overdo in everything. Over-expectations and extravagance can lead to problems, often for others. Sag does tend to experience good fortune, and sometimes it can count too much on this blessing.
Sag is a story-teller, a teacher, and a preacher. It has a strong need to spread the word. But it’s not the only teacher, and often it forgets to listen to others. It can be tactless and insensitive.
Like all fire signs, Sag likes games. It can infectiously bring fun into people’s lives, and help us all get perspective. On the other hand, everything can become a game. Nothing is taken seriously, and life becomes an exercise in telling tall tales or propagating delusions.
These qualities can make false prophets, but excellent entertainers.
Many entertainers were, in fact, born while Sun was traveling through Sagittarius, especially musicians. They can inspire us with their capacity to translate spiritual beauty through the arts. They can also help us to see life as a fun game, and laugh about it, a healing process.
Some examples of famous musicians born with Sun in Sag are Frank Sinatra, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Maria Callas, and Beethoven. Woody Allen and Richard Pryor are Sagittarian comedians. So was Harpo Marx. Charles Schultz and Walt Disney were famous comic strip creators. Stephen Spielberg entertains us with his films.
11-11: Portal of Enhanced Consciousness of Love - by Kara Schallock - 11/10/2014 | Soulstice Rising: Ascension Notes
There has been a lot of movement since the eclipses of October. The movement and recognition of what still has remained of the old has been quite huge. And now we’re here, at the threshold of this most powerful Gateway. I was told last night in the wee hours, when we receive many of our messages, that this Gateway is the most important and catalytic portal, even more than the Equinoxes and Solstices. It is one that the Angelic Realm of the higher dimensions is helping us through.
This past week especially, we have been receiving huge, high dimensional energies that continue to integrate into our bodies clear to our DNA, cellular and electrical systems. This has helped old memories to surface all for the purpose of letting go of any past that has lingered in our consciousness. As we go through the 11-11 Gateway tomorrow, we step through a golden curtain of cleansing, much like stepping through a gentle waterfall that clears us further. The potential of this Gateway is to step more into our mastery as Ascendees, and this allows (if it is time for you to do so) each to live life from a Soul perspective.
Step by step we have risen more and more in vibration and consciousness and sometimes we have wondered if we have changed at all, yet if we look at our journey thus far, we can see how far we’ve come. There have been many awakening moments, many Aha’s, changes and manifestations as we kept flowing along our individual Ascension paths. We have been guided gently throughout, for we have been guided by Love. While the changes haven’t been easy, the more difficult we have experienced them, the more powerfully we move into being Soul-merged.
As we move through the 11-11 Portal, have the intention to be nothing but Love. Not only have thoughts of being Love, but feel being Love. Treat yourself lovingly by meditating and being slow and conscious with every move you make. This helps you align with the Gateway, and it helps to bring others along as well energetically, even though they have seemingly attached themselves to the old.
The 11-11 Portal is an opportunity to advance in the consciousness of Love. And this allows your Light Body to further merge with your current physical body. It also activates your New Blueprint, which is located on an etheric plate sitting behind your Crown Chakra. It is encoded in Light Language glyphs. Your New Blueprint is not your original blueprint; it is based on a higher consciousness and who you are evolving into. Dormant Soul-Codes will also be awakened and activated. Know also that this is known as the Angelic Gateway and so will be more gentle than other events, for the Angels exude a great deal of Flow and Grace. As you step through the Gateway, you are helped through by many high dimensional Angels and greeted by more high dimensional Angels on the other side of the Gateway/Portal. As you prepare for the 11-11 (by the way, 11/11/2014 also adds up to an 11, making this Gateway incredibly powerful), keep your vibration high, your busy-ness low and your intentions clear and have an aura of Gratitude throughout everything in your life.
New higher and more loving perceptions are gained as you pass through the Gateway. If you feel angst or any of the lower emotions, make sure you release them in the Sacred Rose: http://soulsticerising.com/spiritual-musings.asp?NID=17 first, as whatever you step through the Gateway with, you empower. What is it you want to empower? Have this intention as you step through.
New Clarity and an expanded consciousness of Love are yours, if that is your intention. Freedom is also highlighted in this Gateway, as is an awareness of the gifts your Soul wishes you to express. And know that as you intend for yourself, it naturally includes all others and Gaia. And know that the higher purpose of this Gateway is to bring Heaven to Earth and Earth to Heaven in a grounded, real way.
This 11-11 Gateway empowers Soul-merge, if that is your intention. Of course, this is what Soul desires and knows that each being has free will. So if this is your desire, make it known. Offer prayers of Gratitude, for this truly is the only prayer necessary, for all is already within you. Giving thanks is a way to make manifest your deepest dreams and desires. And know that the Power of this Gateway continues through the 12-12 Gateway, the Winter/Summer Solstice, and up to the 1-11-2015 Gateway (which also adds up to an 11!). Remember too that 11 is the master number of the Visionary, so all visions are greatly empowered during this time.
Whether you choose to do Ceremony with others, at a sacred site, virtually or alone, the effect is the same, for we are all One. What you do on your own you do with and for all of life. It is important for you to ask your own Guidance how to do your own Ceremony. Whether you do Ceremony or not; or simply meditate, the time really doesn’t matter, for in the higher dimensions, all is truly timeless. The important thing to remember is to keep your vibration high and your intentions clear. Invite the high dimensional Angels to be with you and ask Them how to honor this 11-11 Gateway/portal of Enhanced Love Consciousness. And remember, you carry the Power and Love of this Gateway through to the 1-11-2015 Gateway.

As you know we are here to help and assist humanity and Gaia to move forward in this ascension. Not only on your planets but in this galaxy at this time. As you began to understand this ascension is a collaboration between the Creator, the heavenly forces, the heavenly bodies, Galactic Federation of light, the humans, the animals, and even the plants and inanimate matter on this planet including Gaia herself.
There is nothing in this galaxy that isn’t a part of this ascension process, for everything is connected to everything else. It is all part of a greater consciousness, that is why we are all working and striving together, to assist you to move to this new place and, ultimately, you as humans, the ones need to step forward, assist, make your own choices, bring in the higher levels of consciousness to allow the consciousness of this planet to expand and grow to a new place where it has never been before.
And you do that by leading the way, by expanding your own individual consciousness, extending it up output evermore into the higher dimensions, and bringing the aspects, the wisdom, the experience of those dimensions, and while you remain grounded on this planet you bring that information experience through and make a part of this reality. Therefore rising, raising and taking this planet to a new level of consciousness, remember you are all connected so while some maybe partaking on this expansion of consciousness, and some aren’t, that’s okay.
Because as you expand your consciousness that which becomes known to yourselves, based in the crystalline grid, the information grids of the consciousness and the consciousness itself of this planet, consciousness of humanity, and all that exist on this planet. As more and more becomes known of the high dimensions, that information ripples out to those who have only recently started their journey. Once it is done many times, it is then easier for those that follow to achieve the same, the same knowingness, the same experiences, the same connection to higher levels of consciousness.
Understand that this is important in this time, remember you humans are the captain of your flagship in the “Free will Zone”, while Gaia, the Creator, all of the Galactic Federation and higher dimensional beings including the Angelic realm, are all here are all here in support of you.
Ultimately you have your free will; we want you to understand that we are here in support of you. Remember that you can also call on us for assistance, though there are still certain galactic laws that we can’t transgress, so, unfortunately, there are some limitations in how much help we can provide to you. An example of this could be your governments, some global problems like Fukushima, environmental problems; these are part of the remnants of the old three-dimensional realm.
But as part of expanding your consciousness and bringing in the new knowledge of the higher realms solutions will become quickly and readily available, to make the shift, repair the damage and allow the process very beautifully and naturally transform, remember from a Soulic level there is much to be gained in learning the lessons, extending your consciousness beyond where you currently are.
Operating on higher levels of Information and solutions and bringing that into your current 3rd dimensional paradigm. Allowing it to be transformed to a new level. If this was simply done with the flip of a switch, there would be less gained from a Soulic wisdom point of view. So understand that this is a process of working together, at all levels, at all dimensions, that is why we are here, for we have all much to learn and gain out of the ascension of this beautiful planet in this beautiful galaxy.
For what happens here affects all, you have had great visionaries on this planet, you have many visionaries now and many more to come. Tune in with your inner guidance and align with those visionaries. Tap into their wisdom and seek inward the wisdom that you are, and that you can access as your many gifts start to grow and flourish. Remember you a much-needed assist this process from the ground level, do your inner work, be a shining light, connect to those higher dimensions and begin to live and be all that you are, and that will ripple out into your world and assist so many others.
We give you much love for you are great beings of light, we are your brothers and sisters and you will soon learn this is true. Be kind and gracious to yourself and all and all that are around you, for that allows a greater emanation of love, an expanded auric energy, and a higher frequency of yourself and all that is around you. For ultimately that is the goal. A greater connection with your higher self, the knowledge, the love, and all that is in the higher dimensions, your divine presence, and all that you are which is much more than this physical body that you are aware of.

A very perceptive someone told me the other day that there are 2 things that can help with my sensitivity as an Empath, so that I can manifest and not get thrown off balance. One is to use the "Law of Attraction", the other is to use Aromatherapy, because results are immediate and effective at curtailing emotional spinout from overwhelm. I have noticed that using Aromatherapy on clients also gives me a healing..so why not use it on myself? That should lie the foundation for Law of Attraction focus..and I've also these steps that Anna Merkaba has outlined below, from Doreen Virtue in her work with Angels. ~PB
The difference between those who are successful and those who are not, is not the amount of money that they start out with, it is not the education, it is not any of the external factors, it is the ability to TRUST your own self, and BELIEVE in your own ideas and ALLOW the success to freely come your way.
There are hundreds of thousands of books written on this topic, however, I will only speak from my own experience. There is absolutely NOTHING that is stopping you but YOUR OWN SELF.
The idea that someone is to blame for your circumstances is futile. It does not work, it never did and it never will. Blaming others be it your parents for not giving you enough education, your boss, your wife or husband, your friends and even the government will not do ANYTHING good for you. You will continue to marinate in a jar filled with doubts, fears, hatred, anger, despair, etc., and is that really what you want to keep doing for the rest of your magnificent life?! I say NOT! I say it is time to take back YOUR POWER.
It is simply FALSE that there is something that you cannot do, everyone is capable of achieving that which they have come here to do. You have absolutely NO EXCUSES to not succeed in what you have come here to do, unless of course your journey does not involve success and freedom, but suffering and pain. Though, that doesn’t seem likely as you wouldn’t be reading this here article right now.abundance quote
STEP 1- UNDERSTANDING: So, having said that, lets get down to the steps you need to take. The number one rule of welcoming anything into your life is to understand this fact : ENERGY FLOWS WHERE YOUR ATTENTION GOES. THE UNIVERSE DOES NOT UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WHAT YOU WANT AND WHAT YOU DO NOT WANT.
Whatever you focus your attention on is what it will deliver to you. If you sit there for example and fret that you don’t’ have money enough to pay for this and that, the universe will work really hard to deprive you of any further income, because it thinks that this is precisely what you wish to experience. If you have put yourself into a state where you constantly think that you cannot afford something you will end up living this way for the rest of your life.
You MUST CHANGE YOUR THINKING! That is not to say that you should run out and start buying expensive items that you want. But that is to say that your THINKING must change in regards to money. If money is what you are looking for then you should focus on the fact that money is very easy for you to receive, that you CAN afford to get this and that item, you simply CHOSE not to do so for the time being.
STEP 2 : THE VISION: Setting long term goals and achieving them is easier than you think. However, you MUST envision everything in the most minute detail, you must feel yourself, see yourself sense yourself being in the place of your dreams. Say you want to be a successful writer. You must completely and fully examine within your own mind, what it feels like to be that writer, what are you doing, what is your life like, where are you living, what type of house is it, etc., etc., to the tiniest little detail. And once you fully and truly unleash your IMAGINATION, and FEEL yourself there, you then must step back and ask yourself a question “AM I HAPPY HERE? IS THIS WHAT I WANT?” If the answer is YES you are ready to proceed to step #3
STEP 3- ACTION, once you set in your mind what you want, you now know that there’s a tiny little bridge for you to get there, you just need to pull it to you, just close that gap. In order for you to get there, the universe will conspire to make it happen.
YOU MUST START PAYING ATTENTION TO SYNCHRONICITY.. meaning, if you are sitting by your computer reading this, and all of a sudden you see that something is happening outside your window and you FEEL the PULL to quit doing what you are doing and run to the window and take a look or walk outside even if it seems ridiculous to you, you should take that step. The reason? Simple.. perhaps at that moment in time with the same pull another person who is the link to your success is also going to be there, you two will meet and this piece of your success puzzle will be complete and you’ll move onto another. Take every opportunity that life presents to you, don’t over analyze anything, follow your intuition and your heart, even if it seems strange and odd, even if you’ve NEVER done this or that before, none of it matters, just the mere fact that you are being drawn to do so, is the indication that you are on the right path to your success.
STEP 4: LET GO, ALLOW AND KEEP WALKING – THERE ARE NO OBSTACLES ONLY OPPORTUNITIES. Even if at first you are up against what seems like obstacles to you, even if there is something that is not going quite right, don’t look at it as obstacles but opportunities, clearly the universe is stirring you in the right direction. If however, you feel that your project is exhausting you and you are really not happy with it, you should not proceed. In order for anything to be successful you MUST be fully and completely IN LOVE with this idea, you must enjoy it, if you do not, then it is not for you.
If on the other hand you are exhilarated by your adventure then do not give up even in what seems like “dire” circumstances but seek out innovative ways of getting everything done.
And remember, you already achieved everything you ever wanted, remember that there are infinite timelines that are images running parallel to each other, where everything that you wanted has already manifested itself, the point now is to MERGE with your OTHER self CONSCIOUSLY and walk on the path of success.
LIKE attracts LIKE and you are to remember that what you feel and think.. is EXACTLY what you will get from the universe. So monitor your thoughts carefully get rid of limiting ideas about yourself, about others, about the world, see everything as a gift and recognize the divinity of everyone involved in your project, understand that you are never doing anything on your own, you are always and constantly supported by the universe and all the living beings around you, even this articles is here to support you, and you will be on your way to incredible success. No matter where you are in life YOU ARE IN CHARGE!!!
Below is a channeling that I did for someone else, I feel that this information pertains to every one of us:
“And so, first let us take you back in time to when you were a child, we are going to ask you to do something with us, for that you must fully and purposely connect with the divine in order to bring back the information that you are fully aware of, look into your heart and relax, sit down and breathe deeply, now close your eyes and think of when you were seven years old, what do you see, who are you, what are you doing, what is on your mind, what are you passionate about. Remember what you are feeling, seeing and sensing, now open your eyes and write it down.
Now that you know exactly what you have come here to do, and you have remembered what it is that you wish to be, it is now time for us to take you into the future. We ask that you sit down again and visualize your future, completely as you wish it to be, fully connect to yourself in the future and see how do you feel being in a position that you have imagined for yourself. Are you happy leading the type of life that you are desiring at the moment, are you fully connected with the divine, are you feeling that you are indeed fulfilling your life’s mission? If so, if you are completely at peace and happiness then you have found your new vocation.
Now, with all your might, with all of your intention think to that moment, remember it and carry it within your minds eye for the next 2 weeks. Savoring every moment of your new life, remembering it, sensing it, feeling it, living it in your minds eye. Put all of your concentration efforts into being at that moment in time, focus all of your attention on the moment that you are finally living out your dream. Think only of what you WANT and not what you don’t want. Remember the universe does not understand the difference between what you wish for and what you wish to avoid, all the universe picks up is that you are concentrating your mind on a particular idea, and it will quickly jump into action in order to manifest it into you reality.
And so, after two weeks, you are to completely LET GO of this idea. Allow it to float out into the universe into space, to GOD to Your own higher self and relax knowing fair well that from this moment on, everything that will be happening to you is only going to be brining you closer and closer to your dream.
And now… ALLOW.. allow us to do the work for you, allow us to present you with a variety of circumstances and opportunities for you to quickly get to that future that you have envisioned for yourself.
BELIEVE.. that everything is possible, truly and completely with all your might believe it.dna
ACT.. Now that you have put all of your ideas out into the universe and you are completely open and ready, you are to ACT on the opportunities that will be presented to you by the universe in order to get you where you wish to go to. Look for synchronicities, listen to the gentle universal flows, hear the melody of abundance that unfolds before you. Understand that EVERYTHING that happens in your daily life is happening indeed for one, and one reason only to help you arrive at the destination of your dreams – ABUNDANCE.

April 2014 is being given star billing as the month to end all months. Most of the talk is about what could happen, might happen, what could go wrong and what could fall apart. In other words all the drama and frisson of apocalyptic anticipation. You’d think by now we’d have learnt that while everything—lives, situations, relationships, organizations, empires—does eventually end, the big overblown scenarios usually bear no relationship to what eventually transpires. Cast your mind back to Y2K or the dire forecasts for December 21, 2012.The reason for this is “Presentism,” i.e., focusing on one aspect of the change whilst assuming the rest will stay the same. Do you remember those now laughable visions of the Twenty-First Century back in the sixties, when flying saucers, personal rocket backpacks and robots were predicted but the way of life stayed the same, the men wore hats and went to the office while the housewives stayed at home?
April 2014’s astrology is stunning, rare and exciting. It doesn’t have to be scary, frightening or full of drama nor does it have to be a one-way ticket to Ascension. The Grand Cardinal Cross may be the first with Pluto, Uranus, Jupiter and Mars since the early 1400s, but all of us have successfully negotiated a series of Grand Crosses and Cardinal T Squares from 2010. As April brings a Libran Lunar eclipse on April 15, the Cardinal Grand Cross on April 23 followed by a New Moon Solar eclipse in Taurus on April 29, remember that you always have options: towards or away from, to stay in the past or create a different future, to live by your highest values or pay lip service to them, to be your own North Star or give your power away.
Each of our unique calls to action this April is encoded in our charts and our psyches wherever 10-16 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn fall. These four Houses or areas of our life are being woken up like sleeping beauty by the Gods of change—the outer planets. We are needed, that is all we can know. And though we meet resistance, we more so will meet great souls who will hail us, love us and guide us, and we will know them when they appear. So many children dream of fast cars and rocket ships, but few actually grow up to build them -- and change the world in the process.
The following script is from "Fast Cars and Rocket Ships" which aired on March 30, 2014. Scott Pelley is the correspondent. Harry Radliffe, producer..
Comparing the Tesla Model S to other cars is like comparing an iPhone to a desk phone. It is a technological marvel that scorches the pavement -- zero to 60 in four seconds. Tesla is another revolutionary idea from the mind of Elon Musk -- a 42-year-old Silicon Valley entrepreneur who built an industrial empire from the stuff of little boy dreams: fast cars and rocket ships. Musk is an idealist who told us he had to start his companies so that man could colonize Mars and save the Earth. His sister says it's like her brother traveled into the future and came back to tell us all about it. So what is the future like?
Apparently it's fast and smoke-free. The Tesla Model S is powered by 7,000 battery cells linked to an electric motor. No engine, no transmission, no tailpipe. As this company video shows, the dash is dominated by a computer that's constantly connected to the Internet. It has a fanatical following. There's a waiting list that Elon Musk is trying to shorten building 600 Model S's a week in this high-tech plant in Northern California.
Scott Pelley: I have heard a lot of people describe you.
Elon Musk: Okay, good, I mean, hopefully-- on-- on balance, hopefully, mostly good.
Scott Pelley: How do you describe yourself?
Elon Musk: I usually describe myself as an engineer that's basically what I've been doing since I was a kid. I'm interested in things that change the world or that affect the future and wondrous, new technology where you see it and you're like, "Wow, how did that even happen? How is that possible?"
How is it possible that Elon Musk could launch two impossible businesses -- SpaceX, a builder of rocket ships and Tesla which could be the first successful car company startup in America in 90 years.
Scott Pelley: How did you figure you were going to start a car company and be successful at it?
Elon Musk: Well, I didn't really think Tesla would be successful. I thought we would most likely fail. But I thought that we at least could address the false perception that people have that an electric car had to be ugly and slow and boring like a golf cart.
Scott Pelley: But you say you didn't expect the company to be successful? Then why try?
Elon Musk: If something's important enough you should try. Even if you -- the probable outcome is failure.
What's important to Musk is reducing greenhouse gases which he believes threaten the world. The Tesla will go about 250 miles on a charge. And Musk is building a network of charging stations where the driver pays nothing for a fill up. He hopes to make the stations largely solar powered one day.
Elon Musk: You can drive for free, forever, on pure sunlight. That's the, you know, message we're trying to convey. So even if, like, there's a zombie apocalypse and the grid breaks down, you'll still be able to charge your car.
Scott Pelley: So there's a zombie apocalypse warranty?
Elon Musk: Yes, exactly.

And, if you're running from zombies, it's good to know the Model S won the highest quality rating in
the history of consumer reports and has the government's highest safety rating.
Musk may be changing the car the way Steve Jobs changed the phone. Like Jobs he's a perfectionist in the art of engineering. His goal wasn't to show a profit but to reveal the possibilities. It is a desire to discover that's also behind Musk's other line of vehicles.
Only four entities have launched a space capsule into orbit and successfully brought it back: the United States, Russia, China and Elon Musk. This Buck Rogers dream started years ago when he had a nutty idea to fly an experimental greenhouse to Mars. But he couldn't. He discovered that the price of rockets was astronomical.
So now he builds his own.
Elon Musk: I had so many people try to talk me out of starting a rocket company, it was crazy.
Scott Pelley: What did they tell you?
Elon Musk: One good friend of mine collected a whole series of videos of rockets blowing up and made me watch those. He just didn't want me to lose all my money.
He never did launch that greenhouse but nowMusk is lofting commercial satellites and flying cargo to the space station for NASA at a fraction of the former cost.

Musk's fascination with technology dates to his childhood in South Africa.
Maye Musk: He just found everything interesting. He wanted to explore everything. He knocked histeeth out 'cause he was just falling off stuff. Kimbal too, actually. Yeah.
We spoke with his mother Maye, sister Tosca and brother Kimbal.
Kimbal Musk: Not a typical type of ambition. It's more he just needs to be constantly-- his mind just needs to be constantly fulfilled. And the problems that he takes on therefore need to become more and more complex over time in order to keep him interested.
He was interested in computers early. At the age of 12 he wrote the software for a video game and sold it. Against his parent's wishes he set his sights on the software capitol of the world.
Elon Musk: It seemed like the vast majority of such things came from the United States. I also, like, read a lot of comic books-- and they all seemed to be set in the United States. So it's like, "Well, this is a good place-- this is where-- I gotta go to this place."
He earned degrees in business and physics at the University of Pennsylvania and asked his brother to join him in California.
Kimbal Musk: When we moved to Silicon Valley we had nothing. So we actually lived in the office. And we would sleep on the floor in the evening and go shower at the YMCA the next morning. And then we would be ready to go before some of our employees would arrive, so they wouldn't think we were actually sleeping in the office.
In that office, Musk invented a program that gave step by step directions between addresses. That's common today in cars and phones but in 1995 it was magic. In four years he made $22 million.
Scott Pelley: Only in America.
Elon Musk: Right, only in America. Absolutely.
Next, he started an online banking firm that he grew into PayPal, a system for making purchases on the Internet.
Scott Pelley: And you sold PayPal to eBay for what?
Elon Musk: It was about $1.5 billion. So that-- that was-- it was a good outcome.
Scott Pelley: A good outcome?
Elon Musk: Yes.
His share was $180 million and he bet it all on Tesla and SpaceX. But at the age of 37, he hit rock bottom. His first rockets failed to reach orbit, and an early model Tesla roadster had quality problems.
Scott Pelley: In 2008, the rocket company is not going well, you've had three failures.
Elon Musk: Right.
Scott Pelley: The car company is hemorrhaging money--
Elon Musk: Yeah.
Scott Pelley: and the American economy has tanked in the worst recession since the Great Depression.
Elon Musk: Right.
Scott Pelley: What was that year like for you?
Elon Musk: And I'm getting divorced, by the way, add to that. That was definitely the worst year of my life.
That terrible year was captured in a documentary called "Revenge of the Electric Car." His plant was filled with flawed cars that couldn't be delivered.
["Revenge of the Electric Car:" Holy mackerel. Jesus! We have like an army of cars here. Like, Jesus! This is frightening. It's really pedal to the metal here. I mean, each month that passes is literally costs us tens of million of dollars we need to appreciate that.]
To save Tesla, Musk needed millions more from investors. His fortune was gone.
Elon Musk: When we'd call people and say, "Hey, would you like to invest?," they'd be angry that we just called. That it's like-- it's not like no-- no and-- no and-- you know, various expletives.
Scott Pelley: He was essentially broke.
Kimbal Musk: Oh yeah. In debt. More than broke.
Scott Pelley: More than broke.
Kimbal Musk: Yeah.
Elon Musk: I remember waking up the Sunday before Christmas in 2008, and thinking to myself, "Man, I never thought I was someone who could ever be capable of a nervous breakdown," but I felt, "This is the closest I've ever come." 'Cause it-- it seemed pretty-- pretty dark.
Toward the end of 2008, SpaceX prepared its fourth attempt.
Elon Musk: We were running on fumes at that point we had virtually no money.
Scott Pelley: So a fourth failure?
Elon Musk: A fourth failure would have been absolutely game over.
Scott Pelley: Done.
Elon Musk: Done.
Scott Pelley: SpaceX bankrupt...
Elon Musk: Yeah. It's bad enough to have three strikes, having four strikes is really kaput.
"I remember waking up the Sunday before Christmas in 2008, and thinking to myself, 'Man, Inever thought I was someone who could ever be capable of a nervous breakdown,' but I felt, 'This is the closest I've ever come.'"
But flight four was flawless and in Musk's world, it lit the darkness.
Then, as often, the week of Christmas became a time when little boy dreams are answered.
Elon Musk: NASA called and told us that we'd won a $1.5 billion contract. And I couldn't even hold the phone, I just blurted out, "I love you guys."
Scott Pelley: They saved you.
Elon Musk: Yeah, they did.
Scott Pelley: Financially and maybe even emotionally.
Elon Musk: Well, I'll tell you that was, that was definitely helpful, yeah.
Two days later, on Christmas Eve, Tesla's investors decided to pour in more money.
Scott Pelley: So you were saved in the period of three days by two completely unexpected events.
Elon Musk: Yeah.
Scott Pelley: Merry Christmas.
Elon Musk: Yeah, absolutely. That's for sure.
The rockets haven't failed since. His cargo capsule has docked three times with the space station. And in the California plant they're fitting seats for what they hope will be eventual manned missions. SpaceX is also testing a rocket that can be reused, softly landing on a column of flame. Another step on a longer journey.
Elon Musk: I'd love to have SpaceX be the company that brings humanity to Mars and I hope I see it while I'm still alive.
He's at SpaceX three days a week, two days at Tesla and weekends are at home with his five sons from his first marriage and his second wife Talulah whom he met in london.
Talulah Riley: It all happened very fast. We were-- we were engaged after, I think, sorta two-- two weeks of knowing each other. And I was 22 and it was-- there were all these boys. And it was-- which was the best part. And-- it was-- it was fast. And then we were in it.
Scott Pelley: You knew each other two weeks before you got engaged?
Talulah Riley: Something like that--
Scott Pelley: What was so attractive?
Talulah Riley: Well, he was very charming and definitely the most interesting and eccentric person I have ever met.
Tesla stock has rocketed up nearly 500 percent but that's not based on thecars he's selling -- that price is counting on the hope that Tesla will create an electric car at one-third the cost of the Model S which runs about $100,000. This is what stands in the way. This slab covered in plastic is the battery.
Scott Pelley: So this is essentiallythe bottom of the car. The front wheels would be there, the rear wheels would be right here. It fills up the entire bottom of the car.
Elon Musk: That's right.
This is how it fits into the bottom of the chassis. Trouble is the battery'sso expensive musk can't build a $35,000 car with acceptable range. To make Tesla successful, he must reinvent battery manufacturing. Musk has just announced a $5 billion factory to be built in the U.S. which, he says, will make more lithium ion batteries than all the other plants on earth combined.
Gambles like that have led a lot of people on Wall Street to bet against him--taking investment positions that count on Tesla stock to fail. But so far, those pessimistic investors have lost a lot of money.
Scott Pelley: What is it about you that seems to invite skepticism?
Elon Musk: Well, I think it's because we're doing these things that seem unlikely to succeed. And we've been fortunate, and at least thus far, have succeeded.
