swallows the dark moon.
Blinded by the light
yet rooted in biology
our senses, our cells,
our bodies know.
New Moon waxing to full and waning to renew again.
Our bodies know
the pulse the rhythm, the cycles
of day to night
night to day
month to month
season to season.
Now the dark moon calls us to listen to the singing wind
that cross-pollinates our thoughts
and excites our minds.
Reflection, discovery, analysis, busyness.
Intuition bridges the spectrum.
Each New Moon emphasizes what is internal. Quiet time or fatigue can draw us inward to renew. The New Moon in Gemini is a restless moon. The lunar cycle begins with a ideas, insights, people, connections and conversations. Neptune plays an important role, squaring the New Moon, blurring boundaries, emphasizing vulnerability and possibility missing details. Mercury, Gemini's ruler is at the important 29+ degree trining Neptune, giving us opportunities to communicate with grace, compassion and inspiration. Poetic conversation. Spirited communication. Inattention to details.
Still moving slowly, Mars, retrograde March 1 - May 19, now moving towards the Pluto Uranus configuration that were key components of the Cardinal Cross/Lunar Eclipse of April 15. By the next Full Moon, Mars will square Pluto. What needs to be pushed, to be purged, to be controlled? What fresh ideas of this New Moon guide us to healing and release in the next two weeks, leading to the Full Moon fruition on June 12-13?
