The Karmic Tools Weekly Forecast covers the current planetary transits which affect people in different ways and to various degrees of intensity.  Take notice when it is a Personal planet (Sun / Moon / Mercury / Venus / Mars) interacting with a Social (Jupiter/Saturn) or Collective planet (Uranus / Neptune/Pluto).  And pay extremely close attention when it is a Social planet interacting with a Collective planet because that means something *big* is brewing that will move large groups of people along their evolutionary paths. 5/11 ~ Venus (values/priorities ~oppose~ Mars (desires):

This energy brings a balance and integration of your inner masculine and feminine energies.  Masculine energy likes to "do" and Feminine energy creates a space, contains and nurtures.  Because it is an opposition, you may swing between extremes between trying to force issues and being more open and receptive, going with the flow.  This energy also brings relationships into the light, forcing issues of balance and integration within your relationships.  If sexuality is an aspect of your relationship, then that too will undergo a balancing/re-balancing of sorts.

5/11 ~ Mercury (communication) ~square~ Neptune (dissolution):

This is a mixed blessing energy. On one hand, it's good for spiritual study and giving your dreams a little energy (if your schedule permits). On the other hand, it makes for major miscommunications between people. Try to THINK before speaking, because if it's possible to misunderstand or not 'get it' all together, it will happen this week. Be careful not to let "longing" for your dreams to come true, distort your judgment and mislead you into believing the illusion. With this energy, some people will deliberately deceive and others have to be careful not to be misled. Stick to the facts or stay quiet, for now. You may even be inclined to withhold information to avoid a confrontation - don't do it. Communicate with your Self and God today, otherwise plan to be very clear in explaining yourself to others so there are no misunderstandings.

5/12 ~ Mercury (your voice) ~trine~ Mars (passion):

This energy gives you the courage to think things through and it activates your ability for strategic problem-solving if/when necessary. You will access your authentic voice and likely find an outlet for sharing your thoughts.  Great energy for small gatherings for spiritual and intellectual exchange.  This energy helps you over any obstacles that may be slowing you down as long as you are willing to accept Truth.

5/14 ~ Venus (your values) ~square~ Pluto (transformation):

Hang on - it's going to be a challenging - but hopefully enlightening - week! The first energy to contend with will have much to do with relationships. It creates very intense emotional experiences. This is more Pluto (transformative) energy, and, in this case, it's where love is concerned. So things in relationships will change - hopefully for the better, but if they were not built on solid ground to begin with, they may crumble completely. Stability is not part of the equation at the moment, so prepare for inevitable change. You've probably already felt it coming, but look out, because it is here now. The natural reaction may be to try to hold on to the person or relationship, don't give in to that temptation. Let Divine Order prevail - if it is meant to be, NOTHING can keep it from evolving to the next level, but if it is NOT meant to be, it is better to release it consciously and with the knowledge in your heart that it is best for all involved. And by all means, get the lesson so you don't have to repeat it in the next relationship!

5/15 ~ Mercury (thoughts) ~sextile~ Venus (art & beauty):

This energy turns your thoughts and ideas toward how you feel, what inspires you with love and beauty.  This is a great time to be particularly creative, or do something related to the arts.  It is best to keep it light and let go of your mundane burdens just for a time.  Pleasure reading, walk on the beach, a play or museum are all good things to do at some point this week.

5/15 ~ Mercury (acumen) ~sextile~ Uranus (the Awakener):

This energy says, it's time to go with the flow - "new and different" being the flow. It wants to shake it up a bit - in a good way. However, if you feel like new and different is more like chaos and disruption, then you need to reflect and see if you aren't being too rigid. Unwillingness to go with the (new) flow will make this energy harder to handle. This is also a good time to try to resolve any old issues or challenges - they are not going away without resolution and conscious release. Perhaps you've been trying the same thing over and over and it's time to try something NEW - now is the time new ideas will come to you. Pay attention! Try to be open and receptive to unusual things, events or ideas; allow spontaneity. You may think you are doing one thing and look up and being doing something completely different - be open to exploring the new path!

5/15 ~ Venus (love) ~conjunct~ Uranus (unexpected):

Expect the unexpected - that's all I can say! This energy makes you resistant to routine and drawn to new and exciting experiences - usually involving (in this case) love and relationships. Beware - a relationship may begin or end suddenly. If it begins, give it some time to discern its stability. One thing is for sure, it won't be "the usual" - it will be with an unusual person or at the very least, unusual circumstances. Whatever you do, enjoy it and pay attention to any innovative ideas that come up around this time - they could be useful down the line.
