Info and GoFundMe site for Tonya Carpenter, hit by a broken bat at the #BostonRedSox / #OaklandAs game on Friday night.

<3 Tonya Carpenter was hit by a broken bat at the #BostonRedSox / #OaklandAs  game on Friday night.

She was in critical condition after being hit in the face by the bat piece, that flew at her at 110 mph. Her condition is upgraded; she is now in Fair condition, but she has a long road to recovery from a Traumatic Brain Injury. Friends and family are praying and pulling for her. A GoFundMe sight has been set up to help meet overhead, medical expenses and care for her son. ~PB

Her close friend Sam Rosario (who was with Tonya at the time of the accident) posts fb updates as the family releases information.
