When I posted this on FB and twitter just after 10am, there weren't even any news links available, as the news had just broken, and I was rushing out the door to an appointment in the South End of Boston. But never forget, THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS led the nation, as the FIRST to legalize same sex marriage! JUST LIKE WE DID WITH AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE! (WHICH WAS ALSO UPHELD THIS WEEK!)
All I can say is, this day was way overdue, and we shall see many changes unfolding in rapid succession in the coming months and years. Although it may not be fully apparent yet on the surface, the tide IS turning, and WE THE PEOPLE of PLANET EARTH are TAKING BACK THE POWER!
