Venus & Your Magnetics ~ Venus rules everything we truly care about and how we go about creating or acquiring it. Among other things, it rules love, art and beauty, all things that can be physical but the feeling they give us when we experience them is subtle, magnetic energy that draws us in and speaks directly to the heart. The heart is the only electro-magnetic organ in our bodies and directly links us to both the inner core as well as and the outer field which surrounds & protects Earth. When Earth or its atmosphere are zapped with intense energy, we definitely feel it too because we are eternally connected. The communication of the heart is *feeling*, and post-2012, we are learning how to feel at completely new levels and in radically new ways. Venus can help you, on a personal level, understand magnetics in a whole new way which will ultimately support you in co-creating a life based on what is most vital to your life and true to your heart. We are not creating the old way we used to, now it is much more about creating an inviting space to magnetize in the heart's true desires.
Venus & Its Dual Nature ~It rules both earthy Taurus and breezy Libra. Taurus asks, "what is it worth?" and Libra asks, "where is the balance & harmony for all involved?" You can see how we swing from literal, material value to perceived value according to an individual's preferences and priorities. When Venus is expressing Taurus values, it is all about the physical experience of beauty, while with Libra it is all about the essence. Either way, in your chart, Venus rules what you are magnetized to and what you are repelled by, naturally.
Venus Cycles - Past/Future ~ If we track the last few Venus cycles, one way to look at it is that we got a completely new identity activated when Venus Retrograded through *ARIES* (2009-2010) which was followed by cultivating new values & priorities, based on this "new identity" which opened up access to our innate power to co-create our lives. As Venus Retrograded through *SCORPIO* (2010-2011), we got to cleanse & clear any deeply buried karmic debris blocking full expression of clean, authentic power and true self-worth. As Venus Retrograded through *GEMINI* (2012), we got to explore the infinite ways we can express ourselves at this new level of consciousness and release out-dated thinking & obsolete processes.
As Venus Retrograded through *CAPRICORN* (2013-2014), we got to put a brand new structure in place that actually helps us make better decisions and create more fundamental stability, as well as personal security, based on the new values & priorities. If we've anchored the fundamentals in a secure way, then this new Venus Cycle thru *LEO* (2015) will be our final exam on working with magnetics for sure, with both rewards & revelations about what we magnetize & repel, naturally. 2017 will bring us full circle back to Aries Retro & we can rebirth yet again! Venus Retrogrades every 18-months, which means that our *Values & Priorities* shift, in small ways, on a fairly regular basis, but in huge ways every 8-years. Getting a rhythm to this, internally, will help you flow with your own personal evolution with far less fear or anxiety & much moretrust in the natural order of things, which includes your own natural evolution.
Venus in LEO ~ Consider this 4+ month period (June - Oct 2015) as an introduction to your newly Emergent Self! You have been through a full cycle of evolution since the last Venus Retro thru LEO (2007). Explore a little. Review the last 8-yrs of your life. How have you grown & evolved? How have your values & priorities shifted regarding love, sex, fun, creativity & how you express who you really are? What is all that 'worth' to you (then & now)? What is the difference in how you expressed your Self in 2007, and how you want to express in new ways NOW (2015)? What have you learned about your Self? What have you learned about your immediate friends, family & community, and your place (and preferences) within each connection?
It's also a good time to look at the Houses & Planets with Leo energy activated to know what specifics are coming up for you personally. But in general, we are all going to have to deal with Venus' extended stay in Leo, which will give you a chance to review any issues around expressing your Authentic Self and making your Unique Contribution. Like I said, Venus is all about your innate magnetics ~ what you naturally magnetize & repel ~ and Leo is all about being courageous & heart-centered and sharing your Light with others, with love, joy & detachment. As you are able to anchor this renewed sense of Self, that you've developed over the last 8-yrs, there will be new opportunities for new friends & new experiences ... but you have to be brave! Remember, when you are centered in who you are, you give others permission to also operate from their center, and everyone has a more authentic exchange, which allows the vibration to remain high or rise even higher.
Essentially, it is time to own, activate & truly embody your Inner Artist ~ that part of you that expresses naturally, from the inside-out. It's also a time deeply supported for re-connecting with your Inner Child/Innocent Child's Heart within, that's the part of you capable of being alive, happy & fully present in the moment and fully engaged with life, taking it all in, and then sharing your ideas, feelings & unique gifts. It's time to share your Self with the world, get out & play, have fun and lighten up! We must lighten our hearts most of all. On some level, the mourning period is over and we are on the back-side of the Life/Death/Life cycle, rebirthing, coming alive, waking up. We've died to the Old Self (last 8-years minimum) and are taking the vital pieces left to re-assemble a more Authentic Self, at a Higher Level, here & now.
Venus Retro brings the necessary review of values & priorities (Venus) where your personal self-love, self-esteem & self-worth issues (Leo) are all concerned. More than ever, we have to operate from Heart-Center, you have to care to get engaged and so you must clear away all that you do not care about, so that what you do care about has more room to grow & evolve. One of my mantras is that my personal sanctuary is where everything I love, I get to do for *FUN*! That's my hope for this Leo infusion of energy, light & renewal. The Retro period should afford you time to *Review* your personal self-care routines, as well as your primary Love or Work relationships and prepare to be your Self more fully and let the chips fall where they may. This Venus work is going to be very personal for those with Leo/Aquarius and Taurus/Scorpio activated in their charts. Things that were important to you 8-years ago are probably not so vital now, and things that were not even on your list of priorities may have moved to the top. In this case, Leo means your core essential nature & authentic self-expression has evolved over the last 8-years and adjustments to your personal presentation & current playmates should begin to reflect the *upgrade*.
Here is the other thing to consider. 2012 was a pivotal time and it seems our consciousness was, and continues to be, expanded since then. Venus' Retro that year in Gemini introduced us to many expanded ideas, higher-level thoughts & wildly new concepts but it was difficult to ground any one, let alone all the ones that caught our attention. Since then, we've spent the last cycle in Capricorn creating *containers* for many of these new ideas, concepts & communities, as well as creating more structure to our lives. NOW ~ her Leo cycle will allow you to make it beautiful, flesh it out so that it radiates YOU! If you've done the work, gotten more grounded & taken care of your responsibilities, then it's time to go out, play & have fun! Theoretically, we built core strength & stronger outer boundaries so that now we are free to be ourselves, secure in our center, grounded & connected to our Hearts, so playing with others ca be easy, free, fun & liberating, rather than draining or debilitating.

Venus Retrograde ~ Review Your Core Essential Nature, Authentic Self-Expression & Connection to Your Heart ...Venus is now covering the ground which will be reviewed between July 25th (retro) and Sept 6th (direct) and anchored during Oct/Nov/Dec 2015. The whole point of any planet going Retrograde is to bring up the issues of its domain, in Venus' case, values, priorities & resources. It brings these issues to the surface, essentially getting your attention in a way that (hopefully) will prompt you to want to explore more deeply (retrograde) before charting the course of future forward movement (direct/out of shadow) when you will have acquired more clarity and sure-footedness. Venus has an 8-year Cycle, and last did this in 2007 (Retro in Leo), so how have your values evolved over the last 8-years where being your Authentic Self & expressing what's truly in your Heart are concerned? How would you like to evolve over the next 8-years? Venus energy focuses your attention on what you deeply value or what you give your resources to, which tells the Universe what you truly value. This is a delicious relief for some who have had enough of the Cancer/Aries challenges of the last year or more (personal security vs. independence), though developing the strength & tools to work it out was critical to maximizing the potential of the current blessing of *Fire* energy now that Jupiter has moved into Leo. We still have to deal with the independence/liberation issues that Uranus is 'cracking us open' to but hopefully, now that we've redefined personal security and deepened our faith in our own ability to sustain & protect ourselves, Leo energy encourages us to believe in ourselves and express more authenticity in every moment. It's almost like you rewired your internal system and now you'll be working on the outer expression & appearance (how it works in the world). I don't necessarily mean your looks or physical appearance, although upgrading that too is deeply supported, but this is more about what your unique energy radiates out to the world, and how others receive & respond to your energy. Think: Magnetize & Repel and then define your terms and invite your Higher Self to assist you.
Jupiter & Uranus affect groups of people, so this energy is 'in the air'. If you have a lot of Fire in your chart, this is going to increase it, so you may want to use your Earth energy to ground & contain this fiery time, or at least take some precautions. If you don't have enough, this will really help you bring in the Fire energy consciously and balance certain aspects of your life out in a much-needed way. So, in general, these two getting together activate your consciousness in a huge way. There are sudden ah-ha moments and more clarity than you've maybe had access to in recent years. Uranus always activates us to learn or try something new or try something in a new way (to the tune of 3-6-9-12 years, a Jupiter Cycle). In this context (with Jupiter) you will want to express something you've only just recently discovered or realized is Truth for you, and you're bursting at the seams to show everyone how you and your consciousness has grown. That's great, but make sure your new Truth is grounded first. Think of the first trimester of pregnancy or a new sprout that hasn't totally rooted itself yet, new beginnings are delicate and require extra care & protection at first, so pace yourself with your new discoveries. This activation spans a year (June 2014 - June 2015) so pace yourself and pay attention to what comes up now (Sept 2014) that is re-activated or revised in March 2015 and finds its footing (roots) and finally gets its final polishing activation in June 2015, right around Summer Solstice (wow!).
See this as an 'unfolding new Truth' or new aspect of Self emerging. Get a feel for the Fire. It's a great time to expand your learning or education, get certified in something that you want to share with others, but try to avoid ideas (and people) with more flash than substance. The combination of Jupiter's luck (which is really a strong faith & following it) and Uranus' sudden, seeming out-of-the-blue-ness (which is really a sudden opening in your consciousness that allows you to see things in a completely new way) things will feel very "ordained" or magical or destined. Just stay grounded & present, because often when things seem 'too good to be true' - they are. What I'm talking about here is more about inner & outer alignment, faith & opportunity, when the path just opens before you and you have NO DOUBT that this is the (new) direction that you're supposed to take.
Also unique to 2014-2015 is the Leo/Aries combination. As long as we maintain integrity, lead with the heart, be creative & authentic, remaining free & independent is easier. However, if you are struggling with self-esteem/self-worth issues, as well as being independent and capable of defining who you are/what you want, then this is your year to face your issues square on and make some real progress. Just keep in mind that what these energies trigger for you are bringing these issues/relationships into the light to be transmuted and purified with this Fire. It's going to burn away all the excess (or illuminate it) and reveal your true beauty & innate value. Believe in your Self! Know that you are here for a reason and while your Path is unique for you, we are all sharing this journey of self-discovery & evolution of our planet. Activations will be personal, social & collective and during the next year or so, we will be creating containers for this *Fire* to burn safely & productively. Use it to connect to your Heart, Passion & True Purpose in life!
6/23 ~ Mercury (communication) ~square~ Neptune (dissolution):
This is a mixed blessing energy. On one hand, it's good for spiritual study and giving your dreams a little energy (if your schedule permits). On the other hand, it makes for major miscommunications between people. Try to THINK before speaking, because if it's possible to misunderstand or not 'get it' all together, it will happen this week. Be careful not to let "longing" for your dreams to come true, distort your judgment and mislead you into believing the illusion. With this energy, some people will deliberately deceive and others have to be careful not to be misled. Stick to the facts or stay quiet, for now. You may even be inclined to withhold information to avoid a confrontation - don't do it. Communicate with your Self and God today, otherwise plan to be very clear in explaining yourself to others so there are no misunderstandings.
