First Quarter Moon Phase:  step out of comfort zone, take action

Sun: 09 Leo "glass blowers shape beautiful vases in their controlled breathing"
Higher Expression: shaping something of value and significance, skillfully wielding personal energies and talents to change or create new conditions and forms
Lower Expression: lack of attention, not caring, distortion

Earth: 09 Aquarius "a flag is seen turning into an eagle" (correction from Friday)
Higher Expression:  relating or understanding at a deeper level, manifesting a desire, rebirth, rising above
Lower Expression:  projection, forcing or pressuring to act, pushing one's agenda


We have multiple "flag" themes today.  Venus moves out of Gemini and into Cancer at 10:55 am ET/2:55 pm UT, when it will begin to discharge "on a ship, the sailors lower an old flag and raise a new one."  Pluto continues to discharge 18 Capricorn, "the Union Jack flies over a new British warship."


Certainly, nations are currently flying their flags and showing their military might.


With this, however, today Jupiter moves to begin discharging 18 Libra, "two men placed under arrest."  So we may find justice served while Jupiter is here until August 7.


Overall, today's energies are about changes, especially changing conditions.  We have quadruple the amount of First Quarter energy, so we have ample impetus to shift, make a turn, or take a direction.
