For the Sun – 24 Scorpio - “Crowds coming down the mountain to listen to one inspired person.”– How often do you listen to motivational speakers. I was part of an organization for a couple years that offered open access to many speakers through both live events and recorded audios. And to this day (at least 6 years later) I still listen to the recordings to relive what they had to say, because their insight still motivates me. Consider the number of people who attend religious services on a regular basis, and what they are learning. It begs the question, “Who do you listen to?”

For the Earth – 24 Taurus - “An Indian warrior riding fiercely with human scalps hanging at his belt” – I always consider this a pretty barbaric symbol. It reminds me of a history where life was not valued in the way that I value it. But the consideration here is about the why someone would commit these barbaric acts – specifically scalping. And it speaks of strength in defending what is yours and having the courage to do it. And while we are not today running around cutting off people’s scalps, people are still fighting for their own sovereignty against oppressive and controlling structures (Think the Government or corporations or anyone holding power over others).
