Interpretation By Andrew:
For the Sun – “A Woman, filled with her Own Spirit, is the Father of her Own Child " – This symbol takes the idea of being a single Mom to a new level. But the idea of single-parenthood is what is embodied by it. Having all the responsibility of being Mother and Father. Being self-sufficient. Rising to the challenge. Last night, this came home for us as a baby was dropped off at our home to care for. A mere 7 weeks old and is all alone for now. How will her life change in the next few hours or days or weeks. I am sure that some part of this energy is at play in her world. We will find out as the day unfolds.
For the Earth – “A symbolical battle between ‘swords’ – The disciples of might, and ‘torches’ – the disciples of Enlightenment " – The battle between Swords and Torches is the ultimate battle between Good and Evil. Between Dark and Light. And while it is a symbolic battle, it’s like you are watching it unfold before you. We see these stories played out before our eyes every day. They are part of our entertainment, part of our work and family life, part of politics. Think of the TV and Movies you watch, the newspapers you read even novels. And the stories presented often follow the good-evil mode. Are Hillary or Trump good or evil? That’s debatable either way, but the presentation will always show it to be so. For us as bystanders or participants, it is for us to choose where we lie in the fray, or even whether we will take part at all. Do we fight? Do we Cheer? Do we turn our backs on it? All are choices. We can make.
