Third Quarter Phase: realign, revise, reorient
Moon in Virgo (Will be Void of Course at 10:45AM until 6:26PM)
Emissary of the Aeon Sophia (Wisdom): Tara, Goddess who Guides
Emissary of the Aeon Thelete (Will): Elias, God of the West
SABIAN SYMBOL FOR SOLAR-LUNAR MONTH: 27 Libra: “An airplane sails high in the clear sky”
SABIAN SYMBOL FOR SOLAR-LUNAR YEAR: 08 Aries: "a woman's hat with streamers blown by the east wind" (attune, align with new ways, hold on to your hat, stabilize)
Sabian Symbols for the Solar-Lunar Day: *SUN: 22 Scorpio - “Hunters protected by heavy clothing are shooting wild ducks”
*EARTH: 22 Taurus - “A white dove flying straight and fearlessly over troubled waters”
Mote on Moon Void of Course (From Lunarium) - It is believed that anything undertaken when the Moon is void-of-course will bring no result. But there is also another, positive facet of the void-of-course Moon: if something risky or difficult is undertaken, something where other people can create a problem or interrupt you, this time seems to be beneficial, because those who might create a problem can do nothing against you.
Interpretation By Andrew:
For the Sun – 22 Scorpio - “Hunters protected by heavy clothing are shooting wild ducks” – This symbol calls up the idea of protectiveness – especially protecting others, especially the young. Reminds me of last night sitting at my son’s Football game freezing with one of my younger sons and being worried for our toes. It’s about providing comfort and warmth. Note also the “shooting wild ducks”. This is a symbol indicating the energy of terrorism – secret attacks. This is where the shelter comes into play.
For the Earth – 22 Taurus - “A white dove flying straight and fearlessly over troubled waters” – This symbol speaks of more that the generalized “peace” that often accompanies the dove in western lore. And that is of having a special talent for facilitating peace. It’s providing the calm and protection needed in times of trouble.
This is a case where the Sabian Symbols for the earth and sun fit together well. And it was noted that Elsie Wheeler, when interpreting the symbols back in the 1920’s did not have any intention from symbol to symbol. She would be unaware that these would be opposing symbols and would speak to some of the same energies.
