Redefine Your Relationship to the Universe --
Astrology Forecast for Mon., Oct. 31st - Sun., Nov. 6th, 2016
Posted on Sunday, October 30, 2016 1:38 PMPlease note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Savings Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter Last week was physically very active... no doubt connected to that Mars/Uranus square we all felt... I could also feel rebellion in the air, especially when driving in the car, or speaking to others.
I
also wanted to talk about the phrase "as best as you can", since a
subscriber raised the issue last week. I know that I use this phrase
quite a bit in my Weekly Forecasts and I wanted to talk about why I do.
There are three main reasons:
Firstly,
in my personal experience -- both with myself and my clients -- I have
found that many of us push ourselves, or have an all-or-nothing attitude
towards life.
I have also noticed that, with all the technology we are currently immersed in, things can get a little overwhelming.
Finally,
sometimes even the simplest coaching question can sometimes be very
daunting; this can depend on the person and their life situation.
And
that's why I love the phrase "as best you can". It's meant to support
us in not pushing so hard, being less perfectionistic and softening our
approach to dealing with new ways of doing or perceiving things. We can
always do something "as best as we can" -- that might not be very well
at all -- but at least it's something. By taking off the pressure, it
raises possibilities, and opens doors.
This week's headline items: Two
of the major aspects this week involve Neptune. There was a Solar
Eclipse back on Sept. 1st; on Tuesday and Wednesday, Neptune opposes the
degree in which the eclipse occurred. The planet also starts to slow
down ("station") on Wednesday, early in the evening. Saturday is the
best time to start taking actions on our New Moon Intentions.
There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday late evening (for 12 hours), Thursday early morning (for 16.5 hours), and Sunday early morning (for 4 hours).
Monday (October 31st): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day. It will journey there until Tuesday late morning. We feel things deeply and have "X-Ray Vision" and "Bullshit-Smelling Abilities" ;-)
Emotional
authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less
than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest.
Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them,
preferably forever... as long as our trust is never betrayed.
The
Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. This occurs by a
process of subtraction -- it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers
us. It's therefore an excellent time to look at "old" fears, limiting
habits or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past
traumas.
Moon
in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity -- it's "in or out", "with
us or against us", "love me or leave me". It can therefore be stormy --
a cold winter storm, or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending
on how we "work" the energies :-)
Manipulation
and paranoia are the lower vibrations of this aspect, so as best you
can, be straightforward -- act in good faith and assume it in others.
Best of all, be truly present to the fluctuations of your feelings -- no
matter if they're "polite" or "timely". Feelings aren't facts, but they
are information -- and heeding them will help you embrace all of who
you are.
Know
thyself -- and love thyself -- you shall be set free. Remember: Love
connects us to the Power within; Fear causes "Force" to show up -- and
that's ultimately what disempowers us and others.
If you haven't set your New Moon intentions yet, you still can -- in fact, any time Monday before 10:44pm EDT is an excellent time to do so. If you'd like some input on how to do that, check out this article -- you could also (re-)watch my New Moon video
Monday at 10:44pm EDT, when we enter a 12-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 10:43am EDT (Tuesday late morning). If you are awake during this intuitive time, try doing some research on projects that support long-term goals.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new,
stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want
to plan Monday night and Tuesday morning ahead of time ;-)
Tuesday (November 1st): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio and VoC until 10:43am EDT.
Neptune opposes the degree of Sept. 1st’s Solar Eclipse all day Tuesday, and on Wednesday until the late afternoon:
We may experience something that resonates back to that time (most
likely a health or work issue). We are now invited to bring compassion
and intuitive thinking to our decision making process.
Something
might resurface around an emotional or spiritual connection. We might
also experience a feeling of separation from our intuitive body that
brings up confusion or fear. What if you simply redefined your
relationship to Spirit/Source/God/the Universe? What if that would bring
more clarity to your daily routines? Could you bring 5% more compassion
to yourself and others when being of service? What would "Love" do?
Tuesday early morning, a harmonious Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 4:17am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last last week Friday evening on, it will be strong until this Thursday evening. This aspect could be tremendously supportive when it comes to dissolving what no longer serves us.
Our
intuition, imagination, and inspiration all seem to be "zeroed in". We
go beyond "tolerance", to lovingly embrace differences in others, and
give where it's needed with open hearts and hands. All of this also
feeds in to any creative and spiritual endeavors that start around this
time.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career point (or one or more personal planets) in 6-12 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces or Cancer? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).
Tuesday at 10:43am EDT, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, whereit will journey until Thursday late evening. We're
strongly motivated to explore and learn. We're not likely to be big
fans of routine -- diversity and new adventures work best at this time
-- we're also physically restless and need to burn that off with
activity and physical exercise.
We
tend to feel more open, optimistic and inspired -- but we also have a
high degree of independence, which means we'd rather inspire others to
do things our way, than take orders. Inspiring others could come easier
than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that
others will agree with us, once they see what we see.
As
best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on
the same page as you. Improvisation works well for us at this time, as
we are spontaneous and love living on the edge -- just watch out you
aren't overdoing or overstating things.
Also: if you haven't set your New Moon Intentions yet, today (Tuesday) from 10:43am - 1:38pm EDT is a great time to do so... If you'd like some input on how to do that, check out this article -- you could also (re-)watch my New Moon video
Wednesday (Nov. 2nd): the Moon remains inoptimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Tuesday late morning for details).
Wednesday orly evening, Neptune starts to slow down (and will appear to move more slowly through the sky until Dec. 6th. It
is getting ready to go direct again on Nov. 19th, when the 5-month
retrograde phase that started on June 13th comes to an end.
A
planet's energies are more exalted during it's "station period"; this
has even more weight for an outer planet, as they move more slowly and
their stations last much longer. This Neptune station is particularly
strong, since it occurs in Pisces, its own sign.
Neptune
represents things like universal love, our inner divinity,
spirituality, inspiration, compassion, faith -- plus creative and
imaginative realms such as music or film -- while the shadow side is
confusion, illusion and escapism of all kinds. We start to be aware of
all those energies more fully in our lives.
This
awareness helps us to connect more fully to those energies as they
exist within us. We can then see where we need to either embrace them
more fully, or connect to them in a healthy way, that doesn't involve
getting lost in the murky lower vibrations of their expression.
Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with a Pisces Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) -- and those of us with personal planets and points in 7-11 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius.
Thursday (Nov. 3rd): the Moon remains inoptimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius until 11:05pm EDT (see Tuesday late morning for details).
Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning,an opportune Mercury/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 1:10am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday on, it will be strong until this Friday.
This aspect is an opportunity to deepen or transform areas of our lives
that need it. It's also an opportunity to do more research, so we can
build something meaningful, all while learning about our authentic
motivations.
Remember: opportunities aren't on "automatic"... we have to go after them, realize them.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point or personal planets in 13-17 degrees of Scorpio, Capricorn, Virgo or Pisces? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Scorpio (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Pluto rules Scorpio)
Thursday at 6:35am EDT, we enter a 16.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 11:05pm EDT.
Use this intuitive time to connect to like-minded people and learn
something new about your unique self. See if you can broaden your
approach, when it comes to your goals or projects.
As
always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything
brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may
also want to plan Thursday ahead of time ;-)
Thursday at 11:05pm EDT, the Moon moves into practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Sunday morning. We tend to be more realistic, serious, cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.
Our
ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning;
when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how
this could be a very productive time for business and long-term
goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.
As
best as you can during this aspect, avoid "should-ing" on yourself.
Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying "I am doing the best I can and
that's all I can ever do" ;-)
Saturn
is the ruler of Capricorn; it's transiting through Sagittarius right
now, making this a great time to explore limiting beliefs and bust
through conditioned thought structures. It's also a great time to take a
more serious look at the "meaning of life".
As
best as you can, be authentic about your beliefs: Do they actually
match your direct experience of life -- as it is for you now, rather
than 5 or 10 years ago? What is true as of now? What is not?
Friday (Nov. 4th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn all day (see Thursday late evening for details).
Friday early afternoon, a challenging Venus/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 12:39pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday on, it will be strong until next week Monday.
This aspect asks us to stretch past injuries and insecurities in our
relationships, self-worth and finances. If we can bring compassion and a
different point of view to these issues, we will reach a new
understanding of ourselves and our life journey.
We
have the opportunity to learn from one another; ironically though, we
may also feel insecure around others. Whenever Chiron is involved, we
are being asked to do some healing work. As best as you can, use this
time to learn about your sore spots. Nobody is perfect: we all have our
flaws and idiosyncrasies. It's ok.
If
you get triggered by someone, as best as you can, take it as an
opportunity to see where this trigger originated -- probably in your
childhood. Bring love and compassion to yourself, as you are, and as you
were (i.e. your "wounded child"). Allow any feelings this may
stir up in you. A feeling is just energy that wants to be experienced,
and honored; it wants to move through us and out.
The
more we resist our feelings, the more we keep them spinning in place.
As best as you can, move from the head to the heart. What might change,
if you showed 5% more compassion toward your inner wounded child? What
if you just decided to have faith in the healing process?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following placements: 18-24 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra).
Saturday (Nov. 5th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn all day (see Thursday late evening for details).
Friday night/Saturday very early morning,a harmonious Venus/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 2:23am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday night on, it will be strong until Monday night of next week.
This aspect turns us toward the new and unusual in romance and finance,
giving us experimental urges and an aversion to commitment. People may
be drawn to us socially, as we bring something unconventional and sweet
to the mix.
If
you're going to take an experimental attitude toward financial
undertakings, these areas hold promise right now: technology,
metaphysics, the arts, group activities. Given that we are less
risk-averse during this alignment, it could end up being a good couple
of days for the stock market indexes... or volatile ones, at any rate
:-)
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 19-25 degrees of Sagittarius, Aries or Leo? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aquarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Uranus rules Aquarius)
Also on Saturday, If you set intentions last Sunday or Monday, after the New Moon became exact, todaywill be the best time to take relevant actions.
If you wrote your intentions down, go back and take another look at
what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get
quiet for a moment and check in with yourself: What actions are calling
to you?
Sunday (Nov. 6th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn until 8:55am EST (see Thursday late evening for details). Daylight Savings time in the US ends today, clocks move back one hour at 2am!
Sunday at 4:56am EDT, we enter a 4-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 8:55am EST.
If you are already awake during this intuitive time, use it to take
practical steps forward on existing projects. If at all possible though,
refrain from actually starting anything brand-new, stick to routine
things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday
morning ahead of time ;-)
Sunday at 8:55am EST, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Wednesday morning. With
this Moon placement, we often feel emotionally detached; when we do
connect to our feelings, it's typically from a cerebral, intellectual
place. We need a cause or project that resonates -- preferably one where
we can connect with like-minded people.
For
the next couple of days, we'll tend to be more eccentric or
experimental; future-related issues like politics or education call to
us now, as do unusual or even esoteric subjects like Astrology, UFOs...
indeed anything from outer space. Our scientific approach to things
leans on originality and ingenuity; we definitely love being
unconventional.
The
increased value we place on personal and emotional independence could
make us come off as indifferent or cold in one-on-one interactions. That
said, we can still be friendly and kind, provided we aren't pushed into
doing something conventional or unethical. This Moon placement starts the build up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact on Monday afternoon).
Sunday afternoon, a harmonious Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 2:01pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Friday on, it will be strong until next week Tuesday.
This aspect is a wonderful possibility for deep emotional healing in
regards to our conditioning and day-to-day thinking structures.
We
can bring compassion, for ourselves and others, to emotionally
"difficult" communications. We are able to allow more for the flow of
feelings as we share ourselves; forgiveness and understanding towards
ourselves and others comes more easily now in general.|
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-24 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces or Cancer? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo).
A head's up for next Monday (Nov. 7th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Sunday morning for details). A somewhat challenging Mercury/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 12:11am EST. An opportune Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 3:25am EST. The first Quarter Moon in almost 16 degrees of Aquarius becomes exact at 2:51pm EST.More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)
