Much has been written about what this super moon is, but there are deeper reasons that offer practical application:
1- IT'S REALLY A "QUADRUPLE MOON" - This is the second Full Moon of the second "month" of the year that is like a month-long Full Moon phase. This year we had two solar Full phases (two months that are like month-long Full Moons). Some years we have one, some years we have two. As such, this is more accurately described as a "Quadruple Moon" (two months and two Full Moons: 2 + 2 = 4). That's quadruple power for clarity.
2 - THE BLACK MOON - The Full Moon occurs in opposition to the Black Moon. When the Moon becomes Full, it will be 183 degrees away from the Black Moon. 180 degrees is exactly opposite. When planets make opposition, it is the farthest they can get away from each other. So this Full Moon is only three arc minutes away from exact opposition with the Black Moon, and that is very, very close. The most intense Full Moons occur when it makes conjunction or opposition with the Black Moon.
Division, discord, and discovery of true natures happens with Full Moons.
Rebirth, renaissance, and revitalization of the nature of humanity happens with the Black Moon.
